The Avatar Skin

Xi'an met with Gorvath in a virtual realm, seeking guidance on his next move. Gorvath's avatar appeared before him, its eyes gleaming with wisdom.

"Xi'an, you have reached a critical juncture in your journey," Gorvath said. "You must now create an avatar skin, a virtual representation of yourself that will aid you in your quest."

"A virtual representation?" Xi'an repeated, intrigued. "What do you mean?"

"Your avatar skin will be a powerful tool in the virtual world," Gorvath explained. "It will reflect your skills, abilities, and personality. But choose wisely, Xi'an, for your avatar skin will shape your destiny."

A virtual window materialized before Xi'an, displaying various avatar options. Gorvath gestured to the window.

"Choose from these options, Xi'an. But remember, each avatar skin has its strengths and weaknesses. Choose wisely."

Xi'an scanned the options, his eyes widening as he took in the diverse array of avatars. There were warriors, mages, archers, and more. But one avatar caught his eye - the fallen angel.

"Ah, the fallen angel," Gorvath said, noticing Xi'an's interest. "A powerful choice, but also a risky one. That avatar skin is still in development, Xi'an. I advise you to choose another."

But Xi'an was drawn to the fallen angel's power and beauty. He refused to listen to Gorvath's warnings.

"I want the fallen angel," Xi'an said, his voice firm.

Gorvath's expression darkened. "Xi'an, I warned you-"

"I know, but I want it," Xi'an interrupted, his jaw set.

Gorvath's eyes flashed with anger. "Fine, have it your way. But don't say I didn't warn you."

With that, Gorvath vanished, leaving Xi'an alone in the virtual realm. The virtual window remained, awaiting Xi'an's confirmation.

Xi'an hesitated for a moment, feeling a pang of doubt. But his desire for the fallen angel's power overrode his fear. He confirmed his choice, and the virtual world around him began to blur.

When his vision cleared, he found himself back in his darkened room, sitting in front of his computer. He looked down at his hands, still feeling the virtual world's energy coursing through him.

He knew he had made a risky choice, and Gorvath's anger still lingered in his mind. But he was ready to face the consequences. For better or worse, he was now a fallen angel in the virtual world.

Xi'an's heart raced as he realized the magnitude of his decision. He had defied Gorvath's advice and chosen the fallen angel avatar skin. Now, he had to play with the consequences.

He opened his eyes and stood up from his chair, his eyes scanning the darkened room. The silence was oppressive, and he felt a sense of unease creeping over him.

Suddenly, his computer beeped, signaling an incoming message. Xi'an's heart skipped a beat as he saw Gorvath's name on the screen.

"Gorvath, what do you want?" Xi'an asked, his voice hesitant.

"I told you, Xi'an, you made a grave mistake," Gorvath's message read. "Your fallen angel avatar skin is unstable and dangerous. You must delete it before it's too late."

Xi'an's eyes narrowed. "No way, Gorvath. I'll make it work."

"Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you," Gorvath's message ended abruptly.

Xi'an's heart raced as he realized the gravity of his situation. He was alone now, with no one to guide him. But he was determined to make it work, no matter the cost. He named his Avatar Khaos...
