68. Resistance 16

Paige started to examine her toes and went upwards.

She put her hair up when she was fighting with the two mirrors to examine her back.

Then she saw something on her neck.

It was like a golden reflection. She put her finger on it, but she didn't feel anything more than just her skin.

But still, she was sure of something shimmering golden if the right angle of light hit it.

It was round, looking like the small plasters for tiny wounds.

She was horrified when her brain conjured up how she could be a robot, and because of that, she didn't bleed at the start of her transmigration.

But she remembered to have bled a lot when she was beaten and sighed in relief.

It wouldn't be surprising if the system were something that had been attached to her body, as in all the transmigration novels, they spoke of the "Host"—the transmigrator.

Her system also called her that if she remembered correctly.
