General Lambert was sitting in his office, still under quarantine. In front of him were a bunch of doctors and physicists; the former's symptoms had already mellowed down, a few hours, after the 'breakout', while the latter had no symptoms at all.

His hair had visibly lessened; apart from that, he had no issues relating to radiation. Instead, he showed signs of severe fatigue.

"Nothing?" General Lambert's face was pale.

"No, general. The device operates indeed additionally with nuclear energy, but the radiation is so small that it is impossible to cause the incident. The various machines, we used for examinations and the like, are all fully functional and don't use this kind of energy."

General Lambert rubbed his brows.

"Then what? You have had enough time; you should have come up with a few ideas."

"It had to be an attack from outside." There was silence in the office.
