225. The Nut inside you

Lance had witnessed the bunkers wall and ceiling being built the last two days, and now the furniture was coming in.

Initially, he wanted the best of the best for Paige, adorning her room with soft carpets, a bunch of pillows, and everything soft and high-end possible. However, he had to let that thought go because if the rooms weren't identical, it could lead to fights between the occupants. He had to make sure everyone could sleep comfortably on the mattress because it was the most important aspect for Paige, and that the layout was the same for everyone.

James was the one who had found the doctor and psychologist, and after Lance screened them thoroughly, he agreed.

He had no idea how James had explained that they had to be locked up, but he figured he had told them something similar about this being a highly confidential experiment.

And the psychologist being able to cook—as she wrote in her CV—made things all the better.
