"Run! Onto the windowsill!" Tom didn't have time to worry about the mutated giant rat that might be lurking downstairs, so he quickly instructed everyone to climb onto the windowsill. The rats were faster than he had anticipated. 


People climbed desperately upwards as Tom and Li Qiang exchanged glances. With one knife each, they stood guard in front of the makeshift ladder. It was too late to run now; all they could do was try to hinder the rats as much as possible.
