Lockhart of The Kaleidoscope

Idk how to explain it, but it feels like I’m reading air. The structure is strange and I don’t even know what the MC’s goal is. He seems to be trying to find the most convoluted way possible to achieve simple tasks. It would be okay if the MC was having fun exploring the multiverse, but he is scared at every encounter? Plus how long has he had these powers? At one point it seems like he just got them a few days ago, but at another he has a mansion filled with artifacts? He hasn’t made a single passive defense or offensive artifact for himself? It is just all so nonsensical, but not even in a fun way.

So far everything is interesting but is this story a translation? Because the MC's attitude has some resemblance to a Chinese fanfic protagonist, seriously he reveals so many artifacts without any care, he basically scares second year students about "ancient dark wizards" who killed with swords and artifacts that deprive losahos of magic, it would be fine if they were 5th year students but telling that to kids between 12-13 is too much, also after doing that he worries that dumbledore and Snape will investigate him? Seriously the MC acts like Chinese protagonist, "does something amazing and then wants to go unnoticed" if it's a translation can you say the original name?

The story has more loopholes than Lockhart has brain cells. I would say Lockhart and the Author combined but I'm pretty sure he never even wrote a single word and just copy pasted what an AI spit out. I don't understand how this has so many good review's, each chapter is full of comments about how little sense the chapter makes and how bad it is.

The story is interesting, the only things that bother me are the MC's apparent lack of creativity in using his power (perhaps the author will develop it further) but what bothers me most is the MC's apparent lack of objective, I mean he doesn't he needs to have a grandiose goal or something, but his actions seem disconnected and meaningless, it would be nice to at least know the logic behind these actions
