Those were the last words Kael said before a truck fell from the sky and crashed through his roof. Afterwards you could only hear the sound his brain matter made when it hit the ground.

After reading countless novels in his life and hoping to be hit by truck-kun his dream finally came true.

But against his hope of meeting a god that would grant him his wishes and send him to a fantasy world with cheats, his soul simply left his body. It headed neither to a beautiful goddess nor a new world with magic and fantasy.

Instead it simply entered the reincarnation cycle where it was supposed to be washed of its memories and reincarnate in a new body.

But even though his dream of meeting a sexy goddess didn't come true, something else happened. An anomaly that never happened before and will probably never happen again in the history of the universe earth is located in took place.

Right before Kaels soul a hole was created inside of the supposedly impervious layer of space where the reincarnation cycle was located.

This allowed Kael's soul to cross the borders of his universe, something unimaginable for a being of a universe that lacked spiritual energy.

But even though this might sound like the start of a new adventure, kael's soul was actually supposed to dissipate instantly. After all he entered the void, a place no mortal being should be able to survive entering. The only thing that stopped his soul from disappearing forever was a resistance to void energy he had due to being part of this very special universe that earth was located in.

Instead of dying forever he could now drift in the void for a few thousand years without his soul being eroded by the unquantifiable amount of energy that surrounded him. Even though that might have been better. After all nothing can even come close to describing the torture that being alone in a dark space for thousands of years is.

‚How much time has passed already? And what even is this place?'

‚I can't even tell if I'm moving or standing still. I just wish I could go back to the past. I'm realizing that my boredom back then was like an action movie compared to now'

After just 2 days his mind was already on the brink of insanity. Luckily for him something magical happened at this moment. For some reason the void energy was entering his soul and completely changing it's structure and essence. During this state he luckily went into a kind of hibernation meaning his soul acted on instinct, simply moving towards the nearest source of light.

After who knows how long, a timespan that is longer than the amount of time earth has existed for, his transformation was finally finished. His soul could theoretically exist inside the void forever. But luckily for him he was already incredibly close to the source of light his soul moved towards for countless years.

Even if he was awake at this moment he would'nt know what was before him. It was a chaos. A place holding several universes and countless trillions of living beings.

His soul automatically tried to enter this place but sadly it is surrounded by it's very own protective barrier. This barrier is made out of and filled with chaotic energy. Something that is the opposite of the void energy that his soul has an affinity with.

But, just like he did in the past with the void energy, his soul started automatically absorbing this energy, once again changing it's own structure.

This was something never before seen in the history of existence. Two opposing energies of the highest quality coexisting in the same being.

After this process finished and Kael's soul was completely altered, the chaos started to recognize Kael as one of its own inhabitants, allowing him entry through the barrier. Sadly there still was some kind of resistance which cost him all of his stored void and chaos energy.

But luckily, after a few billion years traveling through absolute nothingness, he finally entered Chaos.
