46. Conquering Eevee

In the samurai boy's house, Ash treated Pikachu's injuries with healing spray, then took out the blue-orange fruit he had collected in the forest to replenish Pikachu's strength.

Seeing that Eevee was still unconscious, Ash used a healing spray to treat its injuries. Gently stroking its fur, Eevee slowly regained consciousness, comforted by Ash's gentle touch.

When Eevee woke up, it found itself in the room. Squinting slightly, it saw Ash through its weak vision, seriously helping it heal.

Eevee didn't move, just watched Ash who was treating it.

"Okay! That's all right." After a while, Ash finished treating Eevee's injury. As he was packing his things, he noticed that Eevee had woken up.

"Are you awake? Perfect timing. This is for you; it can help you recover your strength." Smiling, Ash placed two blue oranges in front of Eevee.

Seeing this, Eevee raised its head and looked at Ash, unconsciously recalling the image of Ash helping it heal.

"Huh? What's the matter? Don't you like eating?" Ash asked when he saw that Eevee didn't move.

"voy~~~"

Eevee let out a low moan, shook its head slightly, then lowered its head and began to eat the fruit. Ash smiled unconsciously when he saw this.

"Ash, you're really gentle!" Misty, standing nearby, looked at Ash's face and couldn't help thinking inwardly.

"Huh? Is there something on my face?" After packing up his things, Ash turned his head just in time to see Misty's gaze, looking puzzled.

"No... nothing!" Misty was a little flustered, lowered her head a bit guiltily. Fortunately, the samurai's room was relatively dark, or else her flushed cheeks would have been visible.

"I checked; Beedrill is gone, so there shouldn't be any problem." The samurai boy came over and said to Ash and Misty.

Luckily, Beedrill had been calmed down by the Sleep Powder and left in a daze after waking up. Otherwise, if so many Beedrills had attacked again, his small house might not have held up.

"Phew... today was really thrilling!" Misty breathed a sigh of relief after hearing this.

First, they met this inexplicable boy, then Team Rocket, and then a large number of Beedrills attacked. Then, an Eevee appeared to fight Ash out of nowhere.

Really, after getting to know Ash, she felt that these past few days had been more exciting than all her previous experiences combined.

"Well! Then it's time for us to go." Looking at the time, Ash felt ready to leave. Pikachu had already mastered Iron Tail, and Caterpie had evolved into Butterfree. Confident about facing the Pewter Gym, he didn't want to waste time and decided to leave Viridian Forest as soon as possible.

"Okay!" Misty didn't object. To be honest, she wanted to leave this place the most, but now she didn't have such a big fear of Pokémon.

If there was any fear now, it was probably her sisters and Gyarados!

The samurai boy heard that they were leaving and didn't stop them. He led them outside the house together. At this time, Eevee also looked at Ash's back at the door and then followed him out.

"voy, vooy!!"

Eevee walked over from behind the samurai boy, raising its head and looking at Ash with serious eyes.

"Huh? What does it want to do? It doesn't want to fight again, right?" Misty asked, seeing Eevee's serious expression.

"Do you want to come with me?" Ash smiled, then squatted down, looking at Eevee and asked.

Although Pokémon can't speak, their inner thoughts can be understood if one pays enough attention.

This Eevee came from Viridian and watched Ash train with Pikachu to master Iron Tail, a move Pikachu hadn't even mastered before their battle.

Ash could see the potential in this Eevee. Watching others train and learning on its own showed its desire to become stronger. Perhaps Eevee thought it could grow stronger by following Ash!

"voy!!" Eevee responded with determined eyes.

"Then come on!" Ash smiled and took out a Poké Ball, stretching it out in front of Eevee.

"voy!" Eevee responded, and Ash gently touched Eevee's forehead with the Poké Ball.

The Poké Ball activated, and Eevee's body instantly turned into red light, being absorbed by the ball. Ash held the Poké Ball in his hand, and it shook slightly.

After a while, the light on the Poké Ball's button dissipated, and the ball stopped shaking, symbolizing the successful capture.

"That's okay??" The samurai boy's face was full of surprise. He had always believed that wild Pokémon wouldn't be captured without being battled and weakened first. Seeing Ash subdue Eevee this way was unexpected.

Not just the samurai boy, but even Misty found it amazing.

Ash didn't care about their surprise and immediately threw out the Poké Ball. With a bang, a blue light burst out, and Eevee reappeared.

"I'm Ash, and these are my friends Misty and Pikachu. Please help teach us in the future!" Ash said, extending his hand to Eevee.

"voy!" Eevee raised its front paw and placed it on Ash's palm, while Pikachu jumped off Ash's shoulder.

"Pika!!!" Pikachu happily growled, welcoming their new companion.

"voy! voyi!!" Eevee looked at Pikachu, responding with serious eyes.

Pikachu was slightly taken aback, then raised his hand, clenched his little claw, and his eyes became serious and full of fighting spirit. "Pikapi!!"

It seemed that Eevee wasn't just a companion, but also a Rival. This kind of competition wasn't just among trainers; it was the same with Pokémon.
