Chapter 2: Surprising Synchronization

In the great hall of Meka Academy, students stood in rows, waiting for their turn to be tested. Today was an important day, the day they would determine which Relic suited them best. The atmosphere was filled with nervousness and high expectations.

Akaya Sinanhomiya stood among the other students, feeling the cynical glances and hearing the condescending whispers. During initial training, his strength only reached 76%, and the energy he could emit was only 7.7%. These numbers made him appear mediocre in the eyes of other prospective soldiers with higher abilities.

"What do you think you can become with abilities like that, Akaya?" taunted one of the students in a mocking tone. "Even low level monsters can crush you in an instant."

Akaya refrained from responding, her focus only on one goal: proving herself. He stared at the rows of Relic armor lined up in front of them, hoping that today would be the day his fate would change.

The instructor, a muscular man with a face full of scars, called students one by one to try synchronizing with the Relic. Every time a disciple failed, disappointed sighs could be heard from the crowd. Some work, but only with minimal synchronization. Finally, it was Akaya's turn.

"Akaya Sinanhomiya, come forward," called the instructor in a firm voice.

Akaya stepped forward with forced confidence, even though her heart was pounding. He stretched out his hand towards Relic N502, a legendary armor that was famous for not wanting to synchronize with anyone. There was a moment of silence, where all eyes were on him, waiting to see what would happen.

As Akaya's hand touched the armor, a holographic screen appeared in front of her, displaying brief information about Relic N502.

 Relic N502

 Status: Inactive

 Previous sync: 0%

 Last user: Rellic N502 (Legendary)

Akaya took a deep breath and focused on synchronization. He felt something strange when the armor started to respond. The holographic screen changes, showing the synchronization process in real-time.

 Sync starts...

 Sync: 10%

 Sync: 30%

 Sync: 50%

 Sync: 70%

The entire room fell silent, mesmerized by the incredible sight. The numbers continued to rise, and everyone held their breath.

 Sync: 90%

 Sync: 100%

Bright light flooded the room as the armor began to fuse with Akaya's body. The holographic screen displays the final synchronization data.

 Synchronization successful!

 Sync: 100%

 User: Akaya Sinanhomiya

 Status: Active

Nobody said a word. Even those who previously looked down on Akaya now looked at her with admiration and astonishment. Akaya herself could hardly believe what was happening. He felt incredible power flowing through him, a feeling he had never felt before.

In the midst of the resulting silence, the door to the room opened and a man in an elite uniform entered. He is Lieutenant Crount Tanrum, a member of an elite force called the Moon Troop who are famous for their good reputation.

Crount walked towards Akaya, his eyes searching but full of appreciation. "Akaya Sinanhomiya," he said in a deep voice, "from today on, you will be an important part of our struggle. Welcome to the Moon Army."

However, before Akaya could respond, an alarm sounded loudly, indicating a sudden attack from the AnoS monster. The instructor immediately gave the order to be on full alert.

"All students, get ready! This is not a training exercise. Your Relics are the only protection we have."

Akaya looked at Lieutenant Crount, who only gave a short nod before turning around to lead the defense. Akaya knew that this was her first test as a Relic N502 user. With his newly synced armor, he felt ready to face whatever came.

However, when the door to the battlefield opened, Akaya saw something that made her blood run cold. A giant monster of incredible power emerges from the AnoS portal, threatening everything around it.

Will Akaya and Relic N502 be able to face this threat?
