Lucky.

Wanting to give vitality to the vampire, Yoriichi paused, realizing that for a creature like him, being exposed to proteins from nuclear fusion filled with neutrinos would only harm his body. Since it seemed that the only way to deal with the madness was to take the vampire out of Toussaints, Yoriichi intended to piggyback the blood-sucking creature. However, his hands were suddenly grabbed by the vampire when he tried to lift him up.

"Tesham Mutna… Tesham Mutna… Elder… Tesham Mutna…"

Not knowing who or what Tesham Mutna is, or specifically who this elder might be, Yoriichi observed the vampire, who had foam on his mouth and unfocused eyes, as if dreaming. The vampire pointed in a certain direction. There was no apparent harm in investigating, so Yoriichi activated his Transparent World and followed the direction indicated by the pointing finger.

Frowning as he realized there were many vampires and a single sane female human inside, Yoriichi understood that the place was well-hidden, especially since it was currently underground with too many atoms to see clearly. Furthermore, from his vantage point in the sky at that time, he could only see the bigger picture, making it difficult to locate this group of vampires without searching for a specific pattern of molecules related to them.

Noting the palace, he decided to investigate later, after he had brought the bloodsucking creature out of there. Carrying the delusional man, who kept mumbling the same words over and over, on his back, Yoriichi then propelled himself toward distant Belhaven, where everyone had already gathered.

Arriving at the location and seeing his two adventure partners currently talking with other mages while drawing schematic rituals on the grassy earth, Yoriichi glided to the ground, prompting the silver-haired lady to walk over and help him carry the vampire.

Presenting the vampire to Ciri, who was stunned not by him but by the person he had brought, Yoriichi finally learned the name of the vampire through his partner's exclamation, rather than by reading memory patterns of atoms, as he was not yet proficient at it.

"Where did you find Regis?"

"So that's his name. Anyway, I found him in Castel Ravello, southwest of here."

"Geralt and Yennefer will be ecstatic when they hear about this. We thought he had already died from the Vilgefortz attack. So, this is where he was resurrected."

"No, he's not resurrected. The composition of his body is different from someone who has just been resurrected from the earth."

"Really?"

"Yes, because there are no recently built silicon atoms in his body. I believe it's something else, like some kind of regeneration, if I can put a word to it."

"No matter what, it's good to know that Regis is alright."

"Yeah, he used a very clever way to escape the madness. Here, give this to everyone. I think the clues for quarantining the cloud lie in this book, specifically pages 123 to 349, about tissue memory retention and anything authorized by Covinarius."

"Okay then, I'll pass on the message… Wait, where are you going?"

"There are still people like him who managed to retain their sanity in a place called Tesham Mutna. I believe it's the Elder and the local vampires who want to return to their homeworld. From my observation, it might be the Otherworlder vampires who trapped them there because of their dull bloodlust."

Chuckling, she exclaimed, "So they escaped the calamity because of that. What a lucky turn of events. Anyway… take care."

"Absolutely."

Propelling himself into the air once again, Yoriichi observed many mages teleporting to various parts of the mountain ranges to deploy the first layer of bubble protection. Recognizing this as the initial spell and anticipating many subsequent layers to trap anyone inside the province, he decided to hasten his efforts to save people.

Utilizing general relativity to bend spacetime and accelerate beyond the speed of sound, thanks to the extra energy from the stellar formation inside his body, he arrived at the castle in just under a couple of minutes. Flying over the castle indicated by Regis and employing his Transparent World, he found everyone in the basement cells banging their heads against the cage, seemingly trying to alleviate the madness consuming their minds.

After examining each vampire in the basement and noting their condition, Yoriichi's gaze turned toward the lone sane human who was unaffected by the affliction of madness. Remembering the description from the duchess and realizing that this was probably her sister, Yoriichi couldn't help but frown, as this was not the scenario he had anticipated when witnessing someone sacrifice themselves.

When he saw a male vampire with robotic movements being controlled, and the one who was supposed to be the damsel in distress conversing with the leader of the vampires, who was trapped in a different cage from the ones he had seen so far, it became clear to him that this was a ploy.

A ploy that he had no way of knowing the motive behind it, as he was not close with either the duchess or the Nilfgaardian mage he had met for the first time upon entering Toussaint. But what he did know was that taking someone else's free will like that was unacceptable to him.

So, arriving at the magical door largely responsible for preserving their sanity against the madness, Yoriichi employed his domain and added a package of electromagnetic waves similar to those created by the Cthulhu Mythic Path holder. Because, if he wanted to break the door, he needed a way to counteract the madness to bring all of these vampires to safety.

However, the package of electromagnetic waves he created, inspired by those of the Cthulhu Mythic Path holder, was still an amateur creation. This was evident from the many fireworks exploding around him, indicating a failure to stabilize the waves for human passage, despite having conducted experiments in his mind a hundred billion times over the course of about two hours.

This ability was not due to his neurons reaching trillions like those of Kryptonian manual laborers, but rather because he broke down the task into smaller and smaller portions, similar to how a multiprocessor operates, utilizing the four thousand neurons that he could specifically command for tasks that differ from unconscious behavior.

Although he could only create counteracting waves to mitigate the madness affecting people, this indicated very very very significant progress, perhaps comparable to what the Cthulhu Mythic Path holder had achieved over thousands of years.

After seeing the fireworks stabilize somewhat, Yoriichi snapped his fingers and launched mini red giants at the stone doors. The stone melted to the ground like liquid, creating a safe passage for him to pass through. Stepping inside, with his feet submerged in the orange lava, he then heard the cacophony of sounds from the basement below.
