Looking at her sister Morrigan, who had just finished a simple meal and was now walking to her husband's office to assist with the research on the Nameless race, Emma Frost understood that this was one of the reasons her sisters had come to the pavilion. She and her other sisters recognized that, despite the pain and humiliation they had recently experienced, it was worth it to dedicate themselves to their husband, since he had brought them back from the brink of existential crisis. Especially considering the boundless infinity they would face in future reincarnations, this current pain and humiliation paled in comparison to what lay ahead.
Observing her five thousand sisters, who showed no anguish except for the initial one, Emma Frost nodded, seeing that they shared her mindset, who treated this experience as just another aspect of their private life with their husband. Even though she was now aware of what true devil her husband is, Emma Frost believed she would still choose to become a pavilion member, since at the end of the day she was one of the many versions of herself with the most broken fate.
After half-listening to her sisters' conversation, most of whom were from the Expedition Division opening up paths to new territories in the next Heaven, Emma suddenly said, "Elder Sisters and Junior Sisters, I think it is better for us to focus on the research on the Nameless first, rather than delving into world karma. It is more appropriate to address the Ying Confusion and Yang Contradiction by becoming a unified wife and husband. You know that if we are not of one mind, it will create dissatisfaction among the sisters who are not present during this process. So?"
Nodding in agreement and turning to Cammy, her best friend and the leader of the 4th Heavens Expedition Division, Chun Li decided, "Okay then, we will postpone the expedition. You're right, Elder Sister Emma. We must first become a unified wife and husband to avoid dissatisfaction among the sisters. After all the sisters finish feeding our husband, we will go to the office to help speed up the process."
"Yes, let's wait for now. There are only eight sisters left."
As they waited for Ada Wong, Lara Croft, Mei Terumi, Kaguya Otsutsuki, Bayonetta Cereza, Piper Wright, and herself to finish serving the last of the soup to their husband, Luna Lovegood giggled and kissed Tian Xing before turning to address all her present sisters, "Hihihihi, okay Elder Sisters and Junior Sisters. Let's go help Elder Sister Nadine and the others with the research on how to become Nameless."
Standing up and kissing Luna Lovegood's forehead while interlocking their fingers, Emma Frost let her mind wander to the fact that when her husband became a devil, he truly embraced that role without any restrictions or unspoken rules. Although her husband claimed he would not hurt innocent people, Emma knew this was not entirely true. He still had a survival-of-the-fittest mentality, and the multiversal war or Heaven Primordial Tribulation alone had resulted in the indirect deaths of many upright and decent people.
Emma realized that his statement about not harming innocent people was a subconscious coping mechanism, used to ease his mind over the many people he had doomed for selfish reasons. She knew there was no such thing as not harming innocent people if one harbored any selfish desires, as this was evident from her understanding and ability to calculate branching fates into different actions.
If someone becomes selfish, there must be things taken away from the innocent. Just as initially there is only addition and multiplication in the Tao, which spreads its ideas and inspiration to all creations, when specific creations desired something beyond what was already given, subtraction and division were eventually introduced into the world, which resulting in the innocent became the target of that subtraction and division.
Although her junior sister Luna Lovegood was among the lowest in morality across many versions due to her long lifespan and experiences, Emma still found her husband's treatment of Luna uncomfortable and nauseating to think about. This discomfort stemmed from Luna's once-innocent nature, which troubled Emma because, despite retaining her innocent appearance, Luna harbored no resentment towards their husband. Despite already displaying lunatic characteristics upon arriving at the pavilion, the fact that Luna had no desire to harm their husband was what troubled Emma the most.
"What, Elder Sister Emma? Is there something wrong with my eyes? I have pliers to pry them out if you don't like them," Luna said with a maniacal yet innocent expression.
Sighing again at her sister's maniacal but innocent behavior, Emma cursed the world for making immortality a reality, thus turning someone innocent like Luna into a completely different person, since long lifespans meant long life experiences with unimaginable things happening.
Remembering her husband's words about it being better for someone to have a mortal lifespan of only 100 years, and return to earth, rather than becoming someone entirely different, Emma kissed Luna's forehead and said, "No, it's nothing, child. Your eyes are perfect the way they are. Your existence is already perfect, my sister. So, never think about being someone different, okay?"
"Okay."
Tilting her head in confusion noticing that she was being called a child, Luna Lovegood asked, "Elder sister Emma, is having two thousand reincarnations with eight billion experiences still considered being a child? If so, then I must be removed, because our husband in Yang Light Desire said he doesn't want any young ones anywhere near his pavilion. Should I be removed from all existence if I don't fit the criteria to be loved by our husband?"
Twitching her eyebrows at Luna's words filled with static emotions, Emma Frost replied, "Innocent children are like our husband's daughter Ember—no matter their age, they always retain their child-like innocent nature characteristics without ever changing. So, is Luna Lovegood that kind of innocent person?"
Nodding to herself, Luna Lovegood giggled and answered, "Nope, I'm not. Hihihi. If that's the case, then I can become our husband's wife, because Luna here is not like the majority version of myself, with high morality and innocence."
