Arriving at the independent Dao World of Lord Grim after emerging from the cave, Tian Xing saw a blue text screen in front of him that displayed his levels and the amount of comprehension he had in a quantized manner. Intrigued by how the Digital Dao seemed capable of calculating everything, even abstract concepts like fate and karma, Tian Xing noticed that his Tian Ming was in the range of billions. He stared at the screen amusingly, aware that this figure was completely off the mark.
Because the act of quantization reduces the many branching fates someone possesses into a single fate for simplicity, the Taijitu World or Quantum World, when calculated, becomes just one timeline that can be seen and recognized. In contrast, the true Tian Ming Dao involves creating many branching fates that inherently cannot be understood and requires gaining enlightenment piece by piece, a process that makes the mind nimble by constantly quantizing or comprehending subconscious thoughts.
Tian Xing recognized that in this world, Tian Ming only involves a single quantization or comprehension, leaving the rest of the branching understandings aside as irrelevant. So, when he saw the number staying in the billions, with no outward ripples that reflect true progress or understanding of fate by becoming Nameless, Tian Xing just shook his head, realizing that Lord Grim misunderstood subconscious concepts like fate and karma, which cannot truly be calculated due to their infinitely branching possibilities. Only certain parts of the subconscious can be grasped by the conscious mind, enabling an infinite set of branching possibilities to be quantized and comprehended.
Glancing at his stats, which failed to truly reflect his capabilities due to the system imposing a single, simulated timeline of calculation restrictions upon itself, Tian Xing turned to his wife and said, "Come, let's go. Let's search for the NPC named Sophia in Heshin City, somewhere outside this area. It's best for us not to linger in someone else's territory while the owner of this Dao World is out mining metal ore."
Nodding to her husband, Margarita agreed, knowing that even though this Dao World was similar to the Asura Road, where anyone could enter and exit, it was best for them to simply retrieve Sophia and leave. After all, it was rude to snatch someone else's property, especially since the person they intended to steal from was currently one of the most important figures in all of creation.
Additionally, as powerful figures capable of damaging the Dao World, Margarita knew it was time for them to get out of there as soon as possible when she saw that the warning messages, constantly diverted by their Tian Ming Dao, were signs that their presence could trigger an alarm for the world's creations or inhabitants, signaling they were not welcome.
Not only that, maintaining the Butterfly Echoes and Vestiges to divert these warnings was too menial a task, and it was wiser not to risk being seen as a threat, which could lead the creations of this world to attack them. Margarita understood it was better for them to remain mere passersby in this world, avoiding the petty problems that could arise, much like being viewed as immigrants carrying explosives capable of damaging the place.
Flying with her husband on his somersault cloud, they hovered over the city briefly, searching for the NPC. Seeing the true soul they had been seeking for millennia, Margarita said to her husband, "There, Tian Xing, do you see her?"
Following the simulated data pointed out by his wife, Tian Xing nodded. "Yes, I can see her. She is the one with the true soul of Sophia, the wife of Asura."
Nodding her head, Margarita then said, "Okay then, there is no point in lingering any longer. So let's just retrieve her memory and data so she can be reincarnated into a real body with a false soul of her own. Melania upon millennia of karma is just too taxing to bear, especially when the ones we currently owe are the Heaven Chosen."
Controlling the somersault clouds to descend to the earth below, Tian Xing simply replied, "True, true." Arriving in front of the NPC, who looked at him with a stunned expression, not knowing how he was able to fly directly into the city despite the no-flying restrictions, Tian Xing then asked her, "Sophia, right? Would you come with us for just a moment? I would like to talk to you about something."
Not understanding how players like them could ignore the rules, Sophia hugged her laundry tightly, afraid that this person was like many players who treated them as undead with no souls of their own, thus showing no remorse or even slight guilt for what they did to her people. Especially considering their attire, which clearly came from the east, Sophia had received information indicating that people and players from there were even more immoral, as their culture viewed others merely as property they could treat however they wanted.
"It's okay. I just need to talk to you and your whole family for a bit about something, possibly during lunch to make the conversation more easily received and calmly discussed. The topic I want to discuss is going to be very difficult for you and your people to bear, as it concerns your autonomy over having your own life."
Scrutinizing this player, who did not act like the typical ones she usually encountered, Sophia decided to trust this man because whatever he wanted to discuss seemed very serious from his tone alone. Nodding her head, she then replied, "Okay then, I will talk to my mom about you wanting to have lunch with us. But sir, don't have too much hope because what we have is very much just tasteless bread and common red beans, with nothing else."
Smiling and walking to follow Sophia into her dilapidated multi-family house, which was in a state of disrepair, Tian Xing replied, "You don't need to worry about our food because we brought our own to have lunch together. And not only that, if you want, your other sisters and brothers can have the same as us because I brought enough groceries to fill the entire world if I wanted to."
Knowing this was probably just another mystical wonder that players had, Sophia simply replied, "If that's the case, then I thank you, sir, for your generosity. My family will be grateful for your willingness to share the meal with us."
