Sweat

Sora's POV

Every single person stood in the hallway in shock after Minhyuk collapsed. Sohee covered her mouth in terror. I slowly turned to look at Taehyung, who was staring at Minhyuk with a blank expression. I felt like throwing up the longer I stared at the blood. I was so scared of Taehyung- I couldn't even look at him in the eyes.

"Now, this is what happens when you hurt Sora. And you, don't think I won't hurt you just because you're a girl. The next time anyone of you shits touches her, you'll face worse consequences," Taehyung warned, turning to Sohee and glared at her dead in the eyes.

"We'll report you!" Someone threatened from the back of the crowd. Taehyung chuckled darkly at the statement. You can't do anything to the alphas. You can't. They're untouchable.

"Good luck with that, come on," Taehyung wrapped his fingers around my wrist firmly and dragged me out of the building. I didn't say anything the entire way to the gate... because I was too frightened to even look at him.

"Take her home. I'll see you at the mansion," Taehyung ordered, opening the car door for me, then returned to his bike.

"Miss, we have to do something about this. Should I let the elders know?" The guard turned to look at me worriedly as the driver started the engine. I shook my head and didn't say anything, but rubbed away my tears in silence. Taehyung is way too dangerous, every time I see that part of him. It gets worse.

Is Minhyuk dead?

"Miss we're here," The guard announced, opening the door for me. I snapped out of my thoughts, got out of the car, and slowly walked toward the mansion.

"Come with me," Taehyung strode out of the parking lot door to meet me in the living room. I didn't dare complain as he dragged me down the hallway with a blank gaze.

"Let me in!" Taehyung snapped, knocking on a black wooden door. The door clicked and slid open.

"Look at her!" Taehyung pulled me into a huge room filled with books and files. It's the office...

"Oh, my dear Sora! What happened?!" Mr. Jeon gasped in shock when he saw my unpleasant state. I didn't know what to say, so I stood quietly with my face hung low.

"She was bullied! That's what the people at her low-ass university did to her!" Taehyung snapped at Mr. Jeon in anger. Mr. Jeon slowly approached me and gave me a comforting hug.

"I'm so sorry. I'll call the others," Mr. Jeon turned to contact the elders, and the next moment... everyone was in the same room.

"Sora-shi! " Mrs. Kim rushed towards me anxiously. I just want to go home. I don't want to stay here anymore. I'm so tired.

"I told you! She doesn't belong there! Not when there's no one to protect her!" Taehyung growled at his parents. I tried to shut out my thoughts but the memory of the blood spreading across the floor kept on replaying in my head.

"Taehyung! Lower your voice! Be respectful!" Mr. Kim snapped at his son, making Taehyung sigh in frustration.

"I don't think this is an alpha's doing? It's too... playful and naive?" Mrs. Jeon smirked at me, causing anger to burn inside me. I see where Jungkook's attitude came from.

"You're right, an alpha wouldn't do this. If an alpha wants to hurt Sora it wouldn't be powder and water. It'll be blood and tears," Mr. Kim nodded while rubbing his chin.

"But she's hurt! It doesn't matter who did it! We can't send her back there!" Taehyung waved his hands around in annoyance.

"She's bullied by the average, they won't hurt her. There's nothing to worry about," Mrs. Jeon stared out the window with an unbothered expression.

"Not physically, but mentally- we'll fix this," Mrs. Kim rubbed my back with a pitiful stare.

"I'll contact your parents," Mr. Jeon nodded worriedly.

"Why are you calling me- oh! What happened to you?" Jungkook appeared through the door in a white button-up shirt.

"ACHEWWW! ACHEEEWWW!" Jungkook sneezed repeatedly when he entered the room because of the fine powders I was covered in.

"God! You're so nasty! My nose- did you do construction work or something?!" Jungkook gasped and covered his nose in shock. That was it, I've had enough of it. I didn't want to be there anymore. So I push past Jungkook and ran down the hallway... towards my room without giving a damn about the elders.

"I want to go home," I sobbed while rushing through the hallway... CRASH. I stopped dead, then turned to look at Jungkook's door in confusion.

"Huh?" I whispered while staring at his room. Jungkook's at Mr. Jeon's working room though... who's in there?? I slowly approach the room as I rub away my tears. I pushed his door open but the room was dark, so I couldn't see anything but then... I saw a figure in the dark. There's someone in the room. I froze.

"Where is it?? Aish!" A feminine voice whispered in annoyance as she dug into Jungkook's desk.

"W-what are you doing? " I asked, staring at Minah causing her to jump in surprise.

"ARGHHHHH!" She screamed, turning to look at me with her eyes wide open.

"WHAT!?" I snapped in confusion when Minah wouldn't stop screaming at me.

"STOP SCREAMING! IT'S ME, SORA!" I scoffed at her.

"What happened to you?! You look like a ghost!" She gasped and covered her mouth in shock.

"Whatever happens to me isn't your business. What were you doing?" I asked and folded my arms. She was definitely searching for something through Jungkook's desk.

"N-nothing! I was just looking for the notebook Jungkook took from me!" Minah looked away uncomfortably.

"What's going on?! Did someone scream? Are you alright?" Jungkook burst into the room.

"Uh-" I averted my eyes from Minha to Jungkook.

"What are you doing here?! I told you to go home!" Jungkook snapped at Minha in frustration.

"I was looking for my notebook! I need to complete my work!" Minha glared at Jungkook.

"I'll give it to you tomorrow!" Jungkook snapped at her.

"I-"

"What are you doing here?" Jungkook turned to frown at me.

"Well, I saw-"

"Don't trespass my room!" Jungkook glared at me. Huh. This asshole. Fine. I shot him one last glare before walking out of his room.

"What happened?" Taehyung appeared, suddenly giving me a little panic attack. I said nothing, shook my head at him, and walked away.

"Hey, stop," Taehyung called. He grabbed onto my wrist, but I pulled my hand free from his grip.

"Leave me alone," I muttered quietly. Taehyung let out a heavy sigh at my attitude before dragging me toward his room.

"Yah!" I snapped in anger when he forced me into his room and slammed the door shut.

"Listen!" Taehyung gritted, making my hair stand in fright when his piercing brown eyes burned into mine from under his messy blonde hair- telling me to shut the fuck up, so I did.

"I did it to protect you," He exhaled, placing his hands in his pockets. Protect me..?

"Protect me? You don't hurt other people to protect me!" I snapped at him angrily, but he quickly placed his hand on my lips to stop me from talking.

"Keep your voice low! Don't raise your voice! It's my way of doing things!" Taehyung argued, letting go of me again.

"It's your way but it's not my way!" I scolded him. Taehyung suddenly punched the wall beside my head, so I flinched in fright and glanced at his fist beside my head. Oh shit. I'm dead. My heart started racing so fast, I thought I was gonna choke from the intense fear.

"I'm an alpha, that's what we do. They're the ones who started it, so they have to suffer!" He seethed, turning to glare at me. Although I was about to pee my pants in fear, I held it in. He can't hurt people!

"They're not alphas! You can't do whatever the alphas do on the average!" I shot back at him in annoyance.

"So you're not happy?" Taehyung questioned in a low tone. Not that low voice again...

"I'm glad you defended me, but I'm not happy with what you did to Minhyuk. It's not right," I gulped nervously. He's going to murder me.

"Fine," He sighed, backing away from me in silence. I turned the doorknob without looking away and walked toward my room in relief. I made it out alive! I crash onto my bed in exhaustion after a long bath to get rid of the powder. Urgh, this is so messed up. How did I get here? What have I done? Slowly... I dozed off into a deep sleep.

Crack. Crash.

Blood... spreading across the cold floor.

"Taehyung!" I screamed in horror when I felt the pressure of his fingers around my throat... pinning me hard against the wall.

"You made me do this!" Taehyung gritted his teeth in anger.

"Ha-hajima!" I desperately gasped for air as he tightened his grip around my throat.

"No!" I yelped, pushing myself off the bed in panic... sweating from head to toes. I lowered my face and rubbed my neck uncomfortably. It was just a dream... it was just a dream! It's okay. I sat on my bed while rubbing my neck, then turned to check the time. 2:34 am. I got off my bed. I need water. But do I have to press the button? Aren't all the maids asleep? Sighing, I walked out of my room to search for the kitchen.

"Finally," I whispered, opening the door to find a spacious kitchen. I walked up to the giant fridge and pulled it open. I took out a bottle of water and drank it before closing the fridge.

"SPSPshSHSSPS!" I choked violently when I turned to find Jungkook leaning beside the fridge with his arms crossed.

"What the hell!" Jungkook grimaced when I spat all over him. He wiped his pajamas in annoyance.

"M-mianhae..." I coughed and put the bottle away.

"Why didn't you ring the service button?" He asked while rolling his eyes.

"I didn't want to disturb the maids at this hour. They're humans too," I shrugged.

"Feeling bad for the maids huh? How nice of you," Jungkook chuckled in a mocking tone.

"What about you? Why are you here? Why didn't you ring the button? Feeling bad for the maids too?" I smugly folded my arms.

"Tsk, no. I couldn't sleep, so I went for a walk around the garden until I saw you lurking around in the mansion," Jungkook leaned against the fridge again. Aish, he's really gonna start this shit again huh?

"You shouldn't worry about me. You should worry about your girlfriend. I'm telling you she was rummaging through your desk, over a single notebook? I don't think so," I huffed at him. He didn't say anything but stared at me unblinkingly.

"What?" I snapped nervously. Jungkook quickly shook his head and turned to look at me again.

"Nothing, you're just jealous," Jungkook shrugged. Wow, he's still a dumb ass. What did I expect?

"Whatever you say," I rolled my eyes, attempting to walk away from him until I felt his hand on my arm.

"Wait," Jungkook spoke in a soft tone, which was really strange. I turned to look at him in confusion.

"Umm... I... um... you..." Jungkook stuttered as if he was trying to find the right words. I pulled my eyebrows together in confusion.

"What?" I asked in frustration and pulled my arm from his grip.

"Nothing! Go away! Shoo!" Jungkook waved and nudged me away. He strolled out of the room without uttering another word. I stood with my mouth hanging open in disbelief. What the hell is wrong with him?
