"Yah! Are you out of your mind?! Stop being so childish!" Jungkook snapped as he walked up to me.
"Save me~" I whined, hiding behind Yoongi. I don't want to leave Yoongi!
"You think he can stop me???" Jungkook snapped, reaching out for me but Yoongi quickly slapped Jungkook's hand away.
"Omo, did you just touch me?? "Jungkook gasped, pulling his hand back in shock.
"So what?" Yoongi dawdled coldly at Jungkook.
"You know she's involved in the alpha's affair- Do you want her to be in danger? Okay then, bye," Jungkook glared at Yoongi before turning away.
"Wait!" Yoongi snapped at Jungkook in irritation.
"I'll give you two minutes," Jungkook rolled his eyes and headed back to his car.
"Yoongi-"
"Go with him. I hate to admit it but he's right. You aren't safe with me," Yoongi sighed as he pushed my hair behind my ear.
"But-"
"We can still see each other tomorrow. I'm in Seoul now so we can always see each other," Yoongi smiled and reassuringly grazed my cheek.
"But I don't want to go~" I pouted. Yoongi's face lit up with my unexpected cuteness, so he grinned and shook his head.
"Hurry up before I kidnap you!" Yoongi slightly nudges me.
"BEEEP!" Jungkook honks again, making us jump in panic. I turned to glare at Jungkook angrily. Fucking asshole!
"Araso~ good night," I gave Yoongi a kiss on his lips and hurried towards Jungkook.
"I thought you said you wouldn't pick me up," I asked, turning to look at Jungkook when he started driving.
"Yeah, until appa called to ask me where I took you!" Jungkook rolled his eyes. They know everything huh?
"Where did you go?" I asked while staring at him. He didn't change his clothes which mean he was out the entire day.
"Why are you asking me? It's none of your business," Jungkook replied coldly. Aishh... what a cold shithead. Whatever.
"So your boyfriend moved to Seoul?" Jungkook finally asked after a moment of silence.
"Why are you asking me? It's none of your business," I rudely imitated his words in an annoying tone. Jungkook turned to look at me with that 'I'm gonna punch you look'.
"What?" I snapped at him.
"Just saying the place he's living at isn't the safest neighborhood," Jungkook shrugged, averting his eyes back to the road while he steered the wheel.
"What? Really?" I asked in shock. I don't want Yoongi to be in danger! Jungkook smirked at me without saying anything. Aish! So annoying! I quickly got off the car when we reached the mansion.
"Where did the elders go?" I asked while glancing around the mansion. I haven't seen them for a few days now... it's weird. They keep disappearing every few days.
"Bussiness trip," Jungkook muttered as he shuts the door. So we're the only ones home?
"Then how did they know we went out-"
"Of course, the guards notified appa, you idiot" Jungkook rolled his eyes. Right. I gulped and glanced at the security cameras around the mansion. They can see everything.
"Sora!" Jimin appeared in the living room. Oh? He didn't leave yet?
"Oh? You're still here?" Jungkook asked, turning to look at Jimin in shock.
"Yeah to take care of Taehyung," Jimin shrugged. He's such a loyal and caring friend... I'm envious of Taehyung.
"Troublemakers," Jungkook rolled his eyes at Jimin. Jimin rolled his eyes at Jungkook and turned to smile at me instead.
"Sora, I have to head home. I'll visit tomorrow again, okay?" Jimin grinned at me.
"Did you just ignore me?" Jungkook snapped at Jimin.
"Good night~!" Jimin waved at me without looking at Jungkook.
"Yah!" Jungkook snapped at Jimin, but Jimin simply walked away with a smug smile. Chuckling... I walked toward my room and took a warm shower before visiting Taehyung.
"You're still unconscious," I sighed and sat beside Taehyung as he softly breathed.
"Maybe you should go to the hospital?" I whispered while feeling his forehead but it wasn't warm. Why is he still unconscious?
"I don't need to go to the hospital," Taehyung replied in a husky tone, causing me to jump back in panic. He's awake???
"You scared me!" I snapped and patted my chest in shock.
"Mianhae," He muttered, keeping his eyes closed.
"When did you wake up?" I asked as I sat down on the chair beside his bed.
"Not long ago..." Taehyung sighed, turning to face the other way. I'm glad he's alright. I really am.
"Aren't you hungry?" I asked quietly. He needs to eat. Taehyung didn't respond and softly breathed against his pillow with his eyes closed.
"I'm not hungry," He answered in a tired tone. What's wrong with him?
"No, you have to eat. I'll notify the maids," I shook my head and got up. He can't be like this! His condition will worsen without proper nutrients!
"I don't like the food they make," Taehyung sighed deeply. What should I do? He's not eating or drinking! Why is he so picky???
"Get up!" I snapped, pulling Taehyung onto his back. He needs to recover before the elder returns or he'll get into trouble again!
"No, I'm not hungry!" Taehyung groaned, pulling the blanket over his head to keep me away from him.
"You have to eat! I won't let you starve!" I snapped, tugging the blanket off him, but he pulled it over his head again. He's so stubborn!
"Nooo!" He whined. I grabbed hold of his blanket again before yanking it off him but he caught my arm.
"Yah!" I snapped, attempting to pull the rest of the blanket away when Taehyung tugged it back- so hard I fell onto him. We both froze in our position when I landed on top of him. I was only a few inches away from his face. So close... I could feel his warm breath brushing against my face. For a moment... it felt like time was slowing down as we stared at each other without blinking. His messy blonde bangs covered his eyes, but I could still see his worn-out eyes staring intensely at me.
"Ahem... hand," I muttered, shyly glancing away because I was feeling a bit flustered. Why is the room suddenly hot???
"Huh?" Taehyung stared at me in confusion.
"Hand..." I repeated and tugged my left arm because he was holding on to it tightly.
"Oh-oh. Mianhae," Taehyung stuttered, letting go of me, so I quickly scrambled off his bed. Well, that was... awkward.
"Hurry, get up!" I waved my hand at him.
"A-araso," Taehyung grumbled, awkwardly getting off his bed. Aish! You're so clumsy Sora! I lightly slapped my forehead in embarrassment.
"Eat," I insisted while staring at the already-prepared food on the table.
"I don't like it," Taehyung dully eyed the cold meals.
"I'll cook for you then," I sighed and folded my arms.
"You can cook?" Taehyung asked, looking up at me in surprise.
"Yeah, I can cook. I'll impress you with my Busan cooking skills," I winked at him to uplift his mood because he seemed depressed as hell. Taehyung finally chuckled and shook his head at me. I'll cook him some Samyetang to boost his energy. (Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup) He tried to confront the bullies for me... and although it wasn't right for him to threaten people with a gun... I'm still thankful for the things he did to protect me.
"I'm sorry," Taehyung spoke quietly as I prepared the soup for him.
"You don't have to be," I shrugged without turning to look at him. He shouldn't apologize to me. I'm not upset with him- I'm just frightened of him.
"I know I went a bit too far. Appa will kill me if he knows," Taehyung sighed in frustration. For sure, he caused enough trouble at the Alpha University.
"People make mistakes," I briefly turned to look at Taehyung, who was leaning against the fridge with his arms crossed.
"This is why people leave me..." Taehyung whispered in a small voice. What does he mean by that?? Who left him? He has a great family and a very loyal friend!
"Hey, come and help me cook," I beckoned him. I should try and cheer him up at least. He's so depressing to be around.
"I'll burn up the entire house," Taehyung chuckles as he approaches me.
"Just peel the garlic. You won't burn down the entire house," I smiled, pushing a glove of garlic into his palm.
"I don't even know how," He stared at the garlic with clueless eyes.
"Seoul rich kids. How will you survive without your maids?" I smiled while showing him how to peel it properly.
"Hey, I'm a quick learner," Taehyung smiled as he carefully peeled the garlic. Suddenly, my phone started ringing, but the phone number was unknown.
"I'll be right back," I walked out of the kitchen.
"Yeoboseyo?" I answered the call.
"Can you come out? Outside the mansion," A familiar voice spoke through the line. Wait... who's this...?
"Who's this?" I asked in confusion. I know the voice, but I can't remember the owner-
"Just come out. I don't have much time to spare," The voice chuckled before hanging up on me. I narrowed my eyes at the phone screen and scratched my head.
"This is weird..?" I muttered, tilting my head before making my way out of the mansion and out of the gate.
"Anneong!" A lean and tall figure waved at me. Ah. It's him.
"Oh, hey..." I replied, feeling a bit confused by his sudden visit. What is he doing here?
"How's Taehyung doing?" Seokjin asked, walking towards me with a bag in his hand.
"He just woke up this afternoon," I nod awkwardly. Seokjin chuckles and hands me the bag.
"What's this?" I asked, staring at him unsurely.
"It's the best Ginseng drink I can find in Korea. It's my way of saying sorry to Taehyung," Seokjin smiled. He seemed very nice and thoughtful despite his prideful behavior.
"You didn't poison it did you?" I asked, glancing at the bag suspiciously. He's not allied with the Kims or the Jeons. Something feels off about his sketchy generosity. Shouldn't he be planning Taehyung's death instead of praying for his recovery?
"It's a bomb," Seokjin claimed in a serious tone. I glanced at the bag and back at him without saying anything.
"Just kidding, it's the best ginseng drink! I wouldn't be the one delivering poison to Taehyung if I wanted to kill him- wouldn't want to be caught red-handed, would I? Just look at the cameras and guards" Seokjin chuckled at the beaming security cameras of the Jeon's and Kim's property... glaring at him in the dark.
"Right," I nodded. I need to be cautious- I can't fall for his jokes.
"Aren't you going to ask me how I got your number?" Seokjin asked, tilting his head curiously. How did he get my number?
"How?" I questioned. Seokjin flicked his dark brown hair pridefully before turning to look at me with a funny look on his face.
"The second highest rank knows everything. I mean what doesn't a worldwide handsome know?" Seokjin wiggled his eyebrows at me. That pride, again. Well, it's creepy, Mister Alpha.
"Okay..." I nodded awkwardly. He didn't have to say that but okay... I feel like it's his signature move- to impress people with his status.
"Oh, your eyelash fell!" Seokjin gasped, leaning closer to me.
"What?" I questioned, taking a step back to brush my face.
"On the left below your eye," Seokjin nodded at me. I tried to brush my face, but the Ginseng bag was getting heavier and heavier every passing second... so I was struggling to dust my face.
"Here- let me help," Seokjin leaned closer to me and carefully reached out to touch my face. This is so awkward! I held in my breath as he gently brushed my face with his finger. His face was so flawless, it was clear and moisturized...? His skin is much better than most women which is really shocking. Just then... Seokjin's eyes drifted towards mine, so I stopped observing his perfect skin condition and stared back at him. He stood still and continued to stare into my eyes without saying anything.
"I should go," I blinked awkwardly to break the tense atmosphere.
