Bang

Yoongi and I caught the last train back to Busan after Hoseok's people escorted us out of the city. We stayed hushed the entire way home because we were too overwhelmed by the incident. I couldn't get rid of the image in my head. I couldn't help but recall the loud gunfire and the chubby man dropping dead on the grass. It's true. I am afraid to talk to Yoongi. He's lost in his mind too.

"Sora, let's go," Yoongi finally spoke to me after the dreadful trip. He helped me onto my feet when we got to the station.

"Let's stay at a nearby motel," Yoongi mumbled while holding my hand. I quietly nodded. The street was quite empty, but it was brightly illuminated by the streetlights. We made a short walk to a motel nearby and booked a single bed.

"It's quite spacious," Yoongi muttered after he unlocked the door. Still, I said nothing because I felt numb and tired. Yoongi turns to stare at me as I carefully drop my bag.

"Come here," Yoongi sighed, pulling me towards the bed to sit beside him. I couldn't look at him. I'm scared.

"Sora, I know it was an unpleasant sight to witness. I'm sorry," Yoongi exhaled, gently squeezing my hands.

"I-I'm fine," I whispered, keeping my head low.

"No, you're not. Look at me. We'll be alright, okay?" He cups my cheeks between his hands. Suddenly, I felt tears building up inside my eyes, and before I even knew it- the tears made its way down my cheeks.

"I-I'm scared," I sobbed quietly.

"I know, but you'll be alright. I promise," Yoongi exhaled, pulling me into a tight hug as I cried in distress. It was too much to take in. I am scared for Yoongi. And I'm scared of the alphas. Are we really safe out here? What if he's turning into them?

"We're fine now. We'll live our lives and be happy," Yoongi sighed, pulling away from me. He leaned forward to brush his lips against mine, so I nodded as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I love you," I whispered, breaking the kiss. My love for him is unconditional. I don't care if he killed that man. I don't care if he's a murderer.

"I love you too," Yoongi responded with his forehead rested against mine. I could feel his soft breath against my cheeks.

"We should wash up. Let's get your bruises cleaned before you get a scar," I smiled, giving Yoongi a soft peck on the lips.

"Ahh..." Yoongi grimaced as I softly dabbed against his split lips.

"Stop being so whiney," I laughed at him.

Yoongi and I stayed in Busan for about a week. We were fairly safe. Nothing out of the ordinary happened.

"Hajima!" Yoongi laughed when I kept on poking his cheek.

"Come on! Let's go," I smiled at him.

"Araso," Yoongi grinned as we strolled into the pojangmacha stall. I've been craving gopchang and tteokbokki.

"Imo!!! Please bring us two sets of gopchang and tteokbokki please!!!" I yelled and sat down with Yoongi.

"SOJU TOO!" Yoongi added loudly.

"We're broke by the way," Yoongi whispers with his hand rested under his chin.

"Really?" I turned to look at him in shock.

"Just kidding," Yoongi laughs, reaching out to pull my cheeks.

"Very funny," I glared at him. Imo delivered our food to our table, so we both enjoyed our meal and chatted in excitement.

"This is so good," Yoongi exhaled after taking a bite of the warm tteokbokki.

"It's the best!" I grinned, taking a shot of soju.

"Don't drink too much," Yoongi grimaced, pulling the soju glass away from me.

"Don't worry," I shook my head while smiling before shoving the delicious gopchang into my mouth. These past few days have been the best time of my life. Just Yoongi and I. Together and happy.

"Kaja," Yoongi smiled, standing up after we finished our meal. We paid for it and made our way back to the motel.

"BURRRRP," Yoongi suddenly let out a loud burp.

"You're disgusting," I jokingly smacked him.

"Kiss me," Yoongi teased and grabbed my cheek.

"No! Stay away," I laughed, pushing him away but gave up when he pressed his lips against mine. That's when I noticed something strange.

"Yoongi..." I whispered, pulling away from the kiss while keeping my eyes on the other side of the street.

"Hmmm...?" Yoongi smiles at me.

"We should head back quickly," I whispered, turning around nervously. Did I see what I saw? Or am I just paranoid?

"Aren't we? Why are you rushing? Can't wait for some sexy time together?" Yoongi chuckles, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"Someone is following us..." I whispered nervously.

"What?" Yoongi questioned, turning around, but I made him turn back.

"When you kissed me, I saw two figures on the other side of the street. They were staring at us, but they hid behind the building the instant I saw them," I explained, nervously squeezing his arm.

"Oh, maybe it's nothing," Yoongi chuckles dismissively.

"I hope so," I whispered.

"They are following us," Yoongi suddenly stops dead.

"Huh?" I turned to find two hooded figures walking by us on the other side of the street. They keep on turning to look at us.

"Come on, let's hurry," Yoongi pulled me forward. We were a street away from our motel when the two guys suddenly crossed the road, heading toward us. My heart started pounding in panic.

"Shit, come on," Yoongi cursed, so we dashed toward the motel at full speed.

"They're chasing us!" I cried in horror when I turned to find the two guys sprinting after us.

"Keep running," Yoongi tightened his sweaty hand around mine. We dashed into the motel and scrambled up the stairs. We could hear footsteps chasing after us as soon as we got to our door. Thud. Thud. Thud.

"Hurry," I gasped, anxiously turning to look at the stairs as Yoongi took out our room card.

"Why isn't it working?!" Yoongi snapped, attempting to scan the card over and over again, but the door wouldn't unlock.

"They're almost here," I groaned but sucked in my breath when two hooded figures appeared at the end of the hallway.

"Come on!" Yoongi growled, shaking the knob repeatedly. The door finally flew open, so we rushed inside. Yoongi slammed it shut.

THUD THUD THUD THUD.

"What the fuck," Yoongi gasped, backing away from the door when they started banging on our door. The knobbed started rattling as the person attempted to break in.

"Get behind me," Yoongi suddenly pulled out the gun and aimed it at the door. The noise wouldn't stop when the person kept banging on our door. I was panting for air in fear with my hands clenched tightly around Yoongi's arm. What's happening? Did they find us? Suddenly, the noise stopped, and our room fell silent again.

"They're gone," Yoongi whispers after peeking through the peephole. I let out a loud sigh and collapsed onto the bed in relief.

"They found us," Yoongi whispered... sitting down in fright.

"We're no longer safe here," I whispered, curling next to Yoongi.

"Get some sleep. I'll keep watch," Yoongi exhaled, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"How can I sleep," I whispered, wrapping my arm around his waist. After who knows how long, I finally fell asleep, but it wasn't a long sleep before Yoongi woke me up.

"Sora- Sora!" Yoongi whispered and woke me up.

"Hmm?" I turned to him groggily.

"Someone is climbing up the balcony. We have to go," Yoongi muttered, pulling the cap over my head.

"Where?" I whispered in fear. I turned to find the shadow of a person on our balcony.

"We have to get out first," He whispers, pulling the bag over my shoulder. Yoongi quietly peeked at the peephole again and cautiously opened the door.

"Be careful," Yoongi whispered, clenching the gun tightly. We slowly made our way down the stairs. My heart was beating so hard- I felt like it was about to burst out of my chest.

"You have to pay," The receptionist muttered as we got to the door... startling us.

"Fuck," Yoongi cursed. He pulled out his wallet and threw money at the cashier. We quickly walked out of the motel.

"Oh no," I stopped breathing when I spotted the hooded guy standing down the street, staring at us from the intersection. Suddenly, the hooded guy made out a loud whistle.

"He's signaling! Come on!" Yoongi shouted, dragging me across the street. We ran down the dark alley in a hurry as footstep followed us closely from behind.

"SPLIT UP!" Someone screamed right from behind us. Yoongi and I quickly dodged into another alley, coming face to face with a guy, but before I could even react- Yoongi shot him right in the chest with a loud bang. The guy fell backward with a loud thud.

"This way!" I quickly pulled Yoongi into another alley. That's the second person he killed. Sora! So what if he killed someone? He's trying to protect us!

"Shit!!!" Yoongi gasped when two more people appeared at the end of the alley. We turned around and tried to flee, but a group of people was already racing toward us.

"Sora, stay here. I'll distract them," Yoongi suddenly pushed me into a dark corner.

"Yoongi! You-"

"Trust me, please," Yoongi pleaded, squeezing my hands tightly, so I stared at him in tears. No, I can't lose him. Not tonight, not today. Yoongi gave me one final squeeze before dashing out onto the alley. BANG BANG BANG BANG.

Gunshots thundered everywhere. I was screaming internally and fell backward with my hands over my ears. I can't lose him. Jebal. My heart was thumping like crazy as I listened to the scary gunfire, so I sat in the corner... sobbing in fright. The alley fell silent, and the gunshot slowly faded away from my area.

"Yoongi?" I whispered, crawling out onto the empty alley.

"Yoongi!" I gasped, running toward a bloody body in a panic. No no no! I rolled the person over, but it wasn't Yoongi. Sobbing in confusion, I got onto my feet and ran aimlessly down the alley.

"There she is!" Someone called out. I turned to find a hooded person chasing after me at full speed.

"ARGHHH!" I screamed as he tackled me to the ground.

"Got you!" The man grinned like a madman as he pinned me to the ground. He was so heavy I couldn't push him off me. He released my arm to pull out his gun, but I managed to smack it out of his hand, sending it flying across the ground. The man angrily yanks my hair, causing me to scream in pain. I gave him a good punch in the nose and sprinted for the gun, but he caught my legs, making me fall again.

"Fuck it! I'll just kill you with my own hands!" The man snarls, seizing my neck between his hands. My airway was blocked by the sudden pressure. At first, it was the pain in my neck, and then my chest started to swell for air. He's way stronger than the chubby man. I thrashed weakly on the ground as he roughly strangled me. I need air- my hand landed on something solid- I hurled it forward and slammed it hard against the man's head.

"GAH!" He howled, falling off me as I frantically gasped for air. Blood was rolling down the side of his head as he screamed in pain. I turned to find the bloody gun in my hand. How do I use this? I tried to handle the gun- but it was tougher than I anticipated. Why does it look so easy in the movies?! Sora, use all your energy! I took a deep breath and tried to handle the gun again. Click. The man quickly turned to stare at me after my successful attempt.

"Don't come near me- stay back!" I threatened, shakily turning the gun towards him. But he quickly launched himself on me, sending me hard onto my back.

"AHHHH!" I screamed, attempting to keep the gun away from the man as he fought for it. I pulled my hand forward- BANG BANG BANG. Three shots. The guy sat frozen above me as I lay on the ground in horror. The dark bloodstains... appearing across his shirt.

"ARGHHHH!" I screamed in horror when he collapsed on the ground. I shakily turned to look at the gun in my hand before hurling it away in terror. I was trembling in tears. I- I killed someone. I killed someone! I quickly got up, picked up my bag, and ran down the alley in tears. I felt like collapsing as my head swayed from side to side. The loud earsplitting gunshot was all I remembered as I numbly ran through the dim alley. I didn't get far when I felt the urge to vomit, so I stopped to barf in distress when I felt my head spinning like a whirlpool. Fuck. I wiped my lips and started running again.

"ARGHHH! Don't touch me!" I screamed when I roughly bumped into another person. The person caught my arms, so I violently thrashed in panic.

"LET GO! PLEASE STOP!" I screamed while struggling to free myself. I'm numb. I can't-I can't.

"Hajima," The voice stated coldly, sending chills down my spine. I stopped breathing. My entire body was paralyzed by the familiar tone.

"T-Ta-Taehyung...?" I whispered, slowly looking up to find a pair of dark brown eyes staring back at me.

No, a pair of angry eyes. I couldn't believe it. There he was. Standing right in front of me with the usual deadly expression. Kim Taehyung. My heart stopped beating in fear. I suddenly couldn't breathe anymore. His emotionless stares... paralyze my entire body.

Taehyung suddenly raises his gun past me without warning- firing a loud BANG followed by another loud BANG. Something hit my back so hard- the impact thrust me forward, and I collapsed to the ground in pain. Everything became so blurry. I couldn't hear anything as I remained on the damp ground. All I could hear was my own weak... and shaky breathing as the lights dimmed out above me.
