Chapter 0: Prologue

In the beginning, when the human population was still flourishing, there lived a man named Oz Marcuse but later dubbed as Ozymandias, who was born with an extraordinary power known as the Kontroligan Eyes which were from the god of control known as Modikos.

He had stood tall, he had black hair, had a strong build and was handsome himself. He was born in a small peaceful village with loving parents. From a young age he was shown to be a prodigy with extraordinary talent as he was very understanding when it came to conflicts.

"Father, leave the rest to me, I shall settle this dispute peacefully, let me speak with them." Young Ozymandias said.

"Very well my son. Your wisdom is beyond your years." Father said.

His wisdom and his otherwise calm demeanor has earned him the respect of the people of the village.

"Young Ozymandias, your words carry such wisdom, almost of an elder, you will lead us well one day." The villager said.

In that moment, Ozymandias felt he was on the way for a bright future as the bestowed wisdom upon him would become a useful tool to him as he would grow older.

In later years, he eventually fell in love with a woman known as Elysia who works as a healer known for her beauty and kindness.

"Elysia, you are the love of my life, my sacred treasure, will you marry me?" Ozymandias asked, kneeling down towards her.

"Yes Ozymandias...I will...my heart belongs to you." Elysia replied, holding his hand and giving him a kiss.

They eventually got married and had a son named Arion whose hopeful nature mirrored Ozymandias himself.

"Father, will you tell me another story for tonight. Please?" Arion asked.

"Of course my dear son, let me tell you of a story about the time our village united to overcome the storm." Ozymandias replied.

*Fast forward to five more years*

As Ozymandias reached the age of 30, his wisdom and fair judgement led him to become the village leader.

"Ozymandias, we trust you to guide us with your wisdom. Lead us into a prosperous future!" The villager said.

"I will serve all of you with all my heart. Together, we will all thrive!" Ozymandias declared.

Under his guidance, the village flourished and became a symbol of peace and prosperity in the region.

But then, a year later, a mysterious and deadly plague had begun to surface his humble village. Despite his best efforts to control the outbreak with the help of healers, the plague continued to spread rapidly.

"Elysia, we must find a way to stop this. Our people are suffering." Ozymandias said.

"I'm doing all I can right now, but the sickness is relentless. I don't think it won't be going away anytime soon." Elysia replied.

"Father, why are so many people sick?" Arion asked.

"We are facing a great challenge before us Arion. But we must remain strong and united. We cannot let our fear get the better of us." Ozymandias said, placing his hand on his son's shoulder with reassurance.

The villagers, desperate and fearful, have begun to suspect that Ozymandias had somehow brought this curse upon them.

"Why is this happening Ozymandias? Have you angered the gods?" The villager asked, growing fearful.

"I have done nothing but serve this village. We must not lose faith and hope." Ozymandias said.

But what Ozymandias didn't know is that a man named Enyo, a cunning and envious rival from a neighbouring village, seized the opportunity to turn the people against Ozymandias.

"Do you not see? Ozymandias has failed you. He brought this plague upon us!" Enyo shouted.

"Could it be true? Has our leader betrayed us?" The villager said.

Even Elysia and Aron, overwhelmed by fear and grief, began to doubt on him.

"Ozymandias, could it be true? Did you somehow cause this?" Elysia said, growing fearful of her husband.

"Elysia, you know me. I would never harm our people. Enyo's words are nothing but lies." Ozymandias said.

"Mother, father wouldn't do such a horrible thing, right?" Arion said to Elysia.

-------------------------------------------------

*Time skip*

Driven from the village he loved, Ozymandias has been forced into exile. Elysia, unable to bear the pain of losing their home and believing the lies, left with their son Arion.

"I'm sorry for doing this Ozymandias, but I must do this to protect our son." Elysia said.

"Elysia, please...you don't have to do this, you don't have to leave...we can overcome this problem together..." Ozymandias said.

But Elysia didn't listen, she left with their son Arion and now Ozymandias was left alone, completely in exile and away from the things that he love.

And now, in his isolation, Ozymandias traversed desolate lands, forgotten ruins and unknown regions, seeking solace and answers.

"Who are you, humble traveller?" A stranger asked.

"Me? I am only a man who's searching for redemption." Ozymandias replied as he wandered around the area tirelessly.

He helped those he had encountered, using his wisdom and remaining strength to bring what little peace he could to the troubled souls he met.

"Thank you very much, kind stranger. Your wise words have brought us such great hope." The traveller replied.

"Hope is a light that never truly fades, even during the darkest of times. Always remember that" Ozymandias said with reassurance.

Years later, Ozymandias discovered that Enyo had manipulated events to his advantage and managed to corrupt his son, Arion.

"Enyo's treachery really shows no bounds. I must go and save my son." Ozymandias said with determination.

Determined to save his son, Ozymandias embarked on a perilous mission to confront Arion and expose Enyo's treacherous actions.

He eventually found his son Arion, and in that moment, it became a heartbreaking confrontation between father and son.

"Arion, it is me, your father. You must wake up and see through Enyo's lies." Ozymandias explained.

"You abandoned us! I'll never forgive you!" Arion replied, angry towards his father.

To stop his son's reign of terror, Ozymandias had to fight and eventually defeated him in their duel.

"Forgive me Arion, my son. I do this out of love." Ozymandias said as he took him somewhere to be nursed and left the area.

This act had left Ozymandias as a broken man, his spirit shattered by the loss of his family and home.

The years continue to pass, as Ozymandias continued to wander about, seeking a way to atone for his past. One day, he encountered a group of villagers, suffering under the tyranny of Enyo, who had taken control of their lands.

"Ozymandias, we need your help. Enyo has enslaved us and spread misery." The villager begged for him.

"I have faced Enyo before. I will help you, but we must stand together." Ozymandias said.

With his wisdom and strength, Ozymandias led the villagers in a rebellion against Enyo. They fought bravely, and with Ozymandias' leadership, they finally defeated her.

"Thank you Ozymandias. You have saved us and restored peace." The villager said with joy.

"This victory is yours. Together, you have shown that hope and unity can overcome the darkest times." Ozymandias said.

After the battle, Ozymandias was reunited with his wife Elysia, who had learned the truth about Enyo's deceit. She and Arion who had been free from Enyo's corruption, welcomed him back with open arms.

"I'm so sorry if we've ever wronged you Ozymandias..." Elysia cried out, bearing her face on Ozymandias' chest.

"I am sorry as well father, I know what I did was wrong, please forgive me and mother." Arion said as he hugged his father.

"It is alright, we can always start anew." Ozymandias said as he placed his hand over his son's shoulder with reassurance.

As the years pass by, Ozymandias eventually returned back to his position as the leader of the village, and brought peace back to their village.

But as he brought peace, he slowly reached his end as he reached the age of 37, he died in his sleep, accompanied by his dear loved ones.

"Rest in peace, my beloved Ozymandias." Elysia said as she held on her husband's hand.

"Rest in peace, father. I hope you find peace in heaven as well." Arion cried out.

*Meanwhile in heaven, where Ozymandias was lying down and a mysterious person was standing before him.*

"Huh, am I dead?" Ozymandias said as he was confused on where he was.

"Well hello there, Ozymandias." A voice cried out.

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" Ozymandias asked.

"Who am I, well I am known as God and as you can see you are currently in heaven right now." God stated.

"I see." Ozymandias looks down.

God approaches before him and asks him with this question.

"I'm going to give you an offer, would you want to be a god just like me?" God asked.
