The bright morning sunlight poured into the house, warming up the rooms one by one.
Lortell had already left early, dressed in her usual neat and noble clothes. She looked as serious as ever. Because of her important position in the aristocracy, and with the current crisis in the Dwarf Kingdom, she had a major role to play in deciding how much help they would give. There was no time for her to relax, so she left even before breakfast.
Meanwhile, inside the big bathroom, Esdeath and Selene were once again bathing together.
Like always, Esdeath was sitting in the tub with a calm face, while the smaller Selene was sitting on top of her, splashing gently in the warm water.
Esdeath, with her usual cold expression, spoke in a flat voice, "Didn't I tell you to start bathing by yourself?"
Selene puffed up her cheeks in a sulky way. "But I read that parents usually bathe with their kids for at least five or six years! And I'm only a few months old!" she replied in a firm but cute tone.
Esdeath blinked slowly, her lips tightening slightly. She didn't know how to explain to Selene that she was different from normal kids. Her growth was anything but normal.
"Hmm... knowlege can be bad sometimes" Esdeath fell into a short silence, trying to think of something to say.
Selene grinned and raised one finger like a little businesswoman. "How about we make a deal? We'll bathe together for just one year from now. After that, I'll bathe alone!"
Esdeath raised her eyebrows, a small, amused smile tugging at her lips. "A deal, huh? So my teachings are finally rubbing off on you," she chuckled softly. "Alright. Deal."
Selene gave a happy nod, and they continued their bath.
Esdeath gently scrubbed Selene's soft white-black hair, running her fingers down the back of her head and neck, washing every part with care. Selene giggled as the warm water made her sleepy and relaxed. Then, she copied Esdeath and washed her back in return.
But after a while, Selene looked down at her chest and made a curious face.
"Hey… I think my chest is getting bigger," she said, poking her upper body. "It stretches against my clothes now. Is that normal?"
Esdeath's red eyes shifted down for a second. She blinked once and sighed. "Right… She's growing faster than I expected."
Selene's body, though still childlike in behavior, was developing at an unnatural speed. By the end of next month, she could already look like a teenage girl. Maybe even as tall and strong as Esdeath herself. Her strength would likely match that of a top-tier Rank B awakened, and that too in just a few months.
Compared to normal humans, this was crazy fast.
Esdeath calmly placed her hand on Selene's head and gave a light pat.
"It seems like it's time for you to start wearing a bra," she said with a thoughtful voice. "A sports bra would be more comfortable for now. I'll go buy a few for you later."
Selene looked surprised for a moment, then smiled shyly.
"I'm a big girl now, Mother… hehe!" Selene said softly, her voice sweet and full of warmth.
She turned around in the tub so her front faced Esdeath's and gently buried her face between Esdeath's breasts. Her arms wrapped around Esdeath in a warm hug.
Esdeath blinked but didn't move. "What are you doing?" she asked in her usual calm and emotionless voice.
Selene let out a soft breath. "Just let me stay like this for a bit... It feels so peaceful," she whispered.
Esdeath didn't reply with words. Instead, she slowly raised her arms and wrapped them around Selene's small back. The warm water covered them both as the quiet moment stayed between them.
-----------------
After the bath, Esdeath got dressed in her academy uniforms.
Outside, light rain was falling. Since it was the rainy season, sudden showers were common—even in Faynapotterz, where it usually didn't rain much but doesn't mean never happens.
Esdeath took an umbrella before leaving for the academy. She could have easily used her water magic to stay dry or used wind to blow the rain away, but she chose not to.
She didn't want to look strange in front of others. Everyone was using umbrellas—most of them plain black—so she quietly followed the flow.
When she reached the academy, the front gate and the paths were full of students with umbrellas, creating a soft and calming scene under the rain.
Esdeath didn't waste time. She walked straight to the classroom and took her seat. Because of the rain, the teacher hadn't arrived yet, so students slowly trickled into the room.
She noticed Ethan and his group enter and take seats at the front row. Her sharp eyes caught Violet giving a strong glare toward Claus clandestine.
Esdeath's lips curled into a small, amused smile. "So they've found out. That's good," she whispered to herself.
Then her eyes moved to another student—Calista Seraphine, the saintess from the Church Kingdom. She was dressed in her usual white nun-like robe, looking holy and perfect.
"I need to talk to her too," Esdeath thought, narrowing her eyes. "I'm not as weak as I was before. If she tries anything funny again, I'll hit her hard."
She remembered the last time they spoke. Esdeath had said, "I know everything about your Church Kingdom," in a quiet but serious tone.
Calista had lost her calm, her holy smile fading as she reached toward Esdeath with claw-like hands—like a wild beast hiding in a nun's clothes.
Luckily, Calista held herself back at the last second. Esdeath had just awakened her powers at that time—if that attack had landed, she might've been killed instantly.
Now, she was much stronger.
While she was lost in these thoughts, Maruti finally arrived.
She looked totally exhausted, with messy hair and heavy eyes like she hadn't slept the whole night. Without saying anything, she slumped into the seat next to Esdeath and dropped her head onto the desk.
"Haahhh…" she let out a long sigh and gave a thumbs-up, her face full of tired pride.
"I did it… Ravenna agreed!" she whispered with a smug, sleepy smile.
Esdeath raised her eyebrow slightly and smiled.
"Good," Esdeath replied in a low voice. "We'll split the loot this evening."
Maruti gave a tired nod in agreement.
But the moment Ravenna entered the classroom, her smile faded.
Something was definitely wrong with her.
She was wearing a black collar around her neck, and her usual pink eyes—shaped like a plus sign—had turned into heart shapes. Her skin was slightly red and sweaty, as if she was in heat, and she wore a pair of black stockings she never wore before.
Ravenna walked in slowly, winked at Maruti, bit her lower lip, and gave a flirty smile before sitting in her seat like everything was normal.
"Fuck…" Maruti muttered under her breath and scratched her head in frustration.
Esdeath gave her a side glance, sensing something strange. "What did you do now?" she asked with her usual emotionless tone.
"Nothing… just showed a mirror to someone," Maruti replied flatly, her face buried in her arms.
But things weren't done yet.
A few seconds later, someone else entered the room.
A tall girl with short silver hair just below her shoulders. She had two long black horns on her head, curved like a goat's, and a black tail with a heart shape at the end swaying behind her. Her skin had a soft glow and her figure had changed noticeably—more curves, fuller chest, and legs that looked long and strong.
It was Kailith.
But she wasn't the same strict and prideful Kailith anymore.
Now, she looked charming and dangerously seductive. Her shirt buttons strained just a little from her chest—nothing like Maruti, whose shirts had already popped twice—but it still made the difference noticeable.
Her cold and proud face now looked confident and enchanting, like a dark fairy that could hypnotize people with a glance.
The whole class went silent. Eyes widened. Whispers started immediately.
"Wait… that's Kailith, right? Her eyes are red and even her body is completely different"
"She was absent for a while… but she looks completely different now!"
"I'm feeling jealous already," one girl muttered, gripping her skirt.
The boys were even more dramatic.
"Was Kailith always this hot?! She was beautiful before, but now she's got… something else!"
"I think I just fell in love…"
A few boys even tried resisting the charm.
"Maruti is still number one in my heart! She's got even bigger… ahem… you know what I mean!"
"I need to propose to Maruti soon before someone else does!"
"Don't forget Violet and Sylvania… they're cute too!"
"I… I like the emotionless Cassandra. She gives me mysterious vibes…"
While all these random whispers filled the room, Kailith walked gracefully to the front and stood there.
At the same time, the classroom door opened again—this time, the teacher entered.
She stood beside Kailith and smiled at the students.
"So, as you all can see… something very special has happened to your classmate, Kailith!" the teacher said, her voice clear and cheerful.
"Actually," the teacher said with a proud smile, "being a prodigy who's born only once in hundreds of years, Kailith has already had her second awakening!"
Gasps and shocked whispers spread across the classroom like wildfire.
A second awakening was no joke. Some people only awakened again after facing life-or-death situations or training for years without stopping. It was something rare—something huge.
And now Kailith, who was already strong before, had done it?
That meant one thing—she was on the path to becoming an S-rank.
The strongest people in the world.
There was even a chance… she could beat Lortell Mariette's record of being the youngest S-rank ever. Lortell had awakened in her early twenties, and Kailith still had years to spare.
"Ahem… Ahem…" the teacher coughed, quieting the buzzing class.
"She has awakened as a Black Dragon, which also caused some changes in her body and appearance. But as her fellow classmates, I hope you will treat her with respect and make her feel welcome."
She turned to Kailith and said, "You can take your seat now."
---
Esdeath, sitting quietly with a calm expression, carefully listened to the explanation.
"Hmm… Lilith did a good job silencing everyone and covering things up," she thought. "But this Black Dragon story sounds a bit too simple. Still, it fooled the students."
She gave the explanation 7 out of 10 in her mind—And execution? A full 10 out of 10.
--------------
Meanwhile, Ethan was frozen in place. His eyes were wide, and his mouth slightly open as he stared at Kailith.
But unlike the other boys, he wasn't staring because of her beauty.
He was scared.
Violet, who sat beside him, noticed his eyes glued to Kailith. With a frown, she smacked him on the back of the head.
Smack!
"Why are YOU staring at her like that?" she snapped, clearly jealous.
Ethan rubbed the back of his head with a nervous smile. "Uhh… it's nothing," he replied quickly, looking away.
But in his mind, thoughts were swirling in chaos.
"Those changes… … that's a Fallen Dragon's trait."
He clenched his fists under the desk.
"In my last life, this never happened. Kailith was strong but didn't awaken this early. As a fallen dragon at that",
He knew what Fallen Dragons were.
They were hated by dragons, hated by humans, and cursed by the world. Even their own kind cast them out. They were unpredictable… and often deadly.
Who knows when kailith will loose control and cause a disaster.
Ethan glanced at Kailith again, but this time with caution in his eyes.
"From now on… she's an enemy."
--------
Without a doubt, Kailith walked toward Maruti with a bright, shameless smile. Maruti could only sigh when she saw Kailith coming closer.
Instead of going straight to Maruti, Kailith suddenly hugged Esdeath and gently patted her back.
"It's been a while. Good morning… Good morning, my friend!" she said in a cheerful voice, which was completely different from her usual cold and prideful tone.
And the most surprising part?
She said it to Esdeath.
"Friend? Am I dreaming?" Esdeath blinked, completely caught off guard.
She and Kailith had been at odds since the first day of the academy. Kailith always acted like she wanted to fight her, and now she was acting like a close friend?
But Esdeath quickly figured it out.
"Oh… Right. I'm married now," she thought calmly.
One of the biggest reasons Kailith had always been rough with her was because of Maruti. She used to think there was something going on between Esdeath and Maruti. But now that Esdeath was married to Lortell, those worries probably disappeared.
"Now move, I'm sitting here," Kailith said with a grin as she let go of Esdeath and easily pushed her to the side of the bench with just a bit of strength.
Then she placed her hand on Maruti's shoulder and gave her a playful wink with a smile.
But it wasn't a normal smile.
It was filled with charm.
Maruti's face immediately turned red, her body started to heat up, and for a moment, a strange heart-shaped mark glowed faintly on her lower abdomen.
But the very next second—it vanished into thin air before Maruti even noticed anything.
"Urgh… stop using your charms on me or I'll seriously get angry!" Maruti buried her face in the desk again, refusing to look Kailith in the eyes.
It wasn't the first time Kailith had tried this. She had done something similar during a certain night… making Maruti agree to 'some positions and angles' and letting Kailith do 'certain naughty things' that Maruti would never allow under normal conditions.
This was the same night where she lost her virginity as a female to kailith's tail and next day maruti's hips hurted badly.
Kailith sat beside her and let out a quiet sigh. "It worked… but didn't work enough," she thought to herself, slightly disappointed.
She had tried to make Maruti's heart beat faster, make her blush, and even tried to take a bit of control over her body using charm. She did this by making physical contact—placing her hand on Maruti's shoulder and the smile.
And while the charm worked a little, especially making Maruti blush, the moment it reached the stage of control, Maruti's Divine Rank Essence Stone—"Freedom"—broke the effect instantly.
-----------
Still hiding her face, Maruti took a deep breath to calm herself down.
"She really has the most annoying ability. And the worst part? She uses it fully when we're in bed together," she thought with a grumble.
Her mind drifted to that intense night. Their bodies curling together like snakes… the burning passion… and how everything became ten times wilder after Kailith awakened as a Fallen Dragon.
The pleasure from that night wasn't two or three times more than normal—it felt like a hundred times more.
And that was just the beginning.
Kailith still hadn't completely mastered her new power and was early stage of digesting her awakening powers. In a few months, she might be able to give Maruti so much pleasure it could actually drive someone insane or even kill them with bliss.
This was one of the reasons Fallen Dragons were feared and avoided—because they could turn people into addicts for that kind of feeling.
Luckily, Maruti had an extremely high sex drive, and more importantly—her Divine Rank Essence Stone "Freedom" gave her control over addiction. She couldn't get addicted to anything.
If she didn't have that, she would be the one begging Kailith to do things to her.
"Phew… this essence stone is a lifesaver," she thought with relief.
But then she paused and frowned.
"Wait… why am I even thinking about Kailith right now?" she asked herself and lifted her head slightly to look at Kailith.
Kailith quickly looked away, but there was a smug smile on her face.
Maruti's lips twitched as she glared at her.
"This little—she used her charm again, didn't she?"
