Chapter 70: The Atlantis Proposal Stage

"This is such a wonderful room. I've never seen anything like this in a domestic hotel!" Wang Wanwan slowly walked towards the glass, extending her hand. The beluga whales and stingrays joyfully approached, interacting with her through the glass.

"Boss Chen, is this glass sturdy?" Xu Yong, standing nearby, knocked on the glass with a skeptical expression.

Chen Jianhai smiled, "Of course it's sturdy! The integrity of this glass is crucial for the hotel's safety. There might be mistakes elsewhere, but here, there's absolutely no issue!" Chen Jianhai had complete faith in the system's capabilities. Even if his own bed collapsed, the glass here would remain intact.

"I really like it here," Wang Wanwan said happily, feeling guilty for her earlier disdain. She hadn't expected that although the hotel appeared modest and small from the outside, without the grandeur of other hotels, Chen Jianhai had put great effort into the finer details.

"Are there any other rooms? I want to see them all," Wang Wanwan was now fully interested.

Chen Jianhai was delighted. The little fish had taken the bait!

"Of course! To make this wedding season special, our hotel has carefully crafted and launched a series of projects. Please follow me," Chen Jianhai said, leading Xu Yong and Wang Wanwan upstairs to another suite.

This suite was a two-story structure. The living room on the upper level also had windows overlooking the sea. However, the view here was different from the one below the bedroom. If the sea below the bedroom was dreamy, beautiful, and vibrant, this part of the sea was breathtaking and majestic, drawing people in like a swirling vortex.

"Is this... the lost city of Atlantis?" This time, it was Xu Yong who was stunned.

Beneath the calm, deep blue sea, white ruins, fallen pillars, and exquisite carvings formed a vast ancient cityscape that stretched endlessly, showcasing the grandeur and splendor of the once-great city. Only a few fish swam through, seemingly reminding people of its former glory. Despite being a scene of a lost city, it didn't feel desolate or lifeless but rather serene and beautifully timeless.

Chen Jianhai nodded, "Yes, right below is the lost city of Atlantis. To enhance the sanctity and purity of our wedding season, we have laid white phosphorescent stones on the seabed. When moonlight shines on the sea, the entire seabed glows."

Wang Wanwan was also captivated by the scene. She pointed to a platform below the ancient city, "What's that place?"

Chen Jianhai glanced over, seeing a protruding platform within the city walls, resembling steps. On the platform was a large open pearl oyster, seemingly holding something inside.

"Miss Wang, that's our specially constructed proposal stage," Chen Jianhai explained.

"A proposal stage? In the sea?" Wang Wanwan asked curiously.

Chen Jianhai nodded, "Yes, Miss Wang. Inside that giant open pearl oyster is the engagement ring. Only the most loving couples can open the oyster, with the sea god bestowing his blessings and presenting the precious treasure to the couple."

Chen Jianhai was bluffing with confidence, silently cursing the system for not providing more detailed explanations for these props. If it weren't for watching the movie "Aquaman" with Xiao Lang, he wouldn't have been able to come up with the "sea god" story.

Despite his far-fetched explanation, Wang Wanwan believed it. Xu Yong, noticing her expression, felt a pang of concern.

"No, you're pregnant!" Xu Yong quickly objected before Wang Wanwan could say anything. She looked disappointed.

Chen Jianhai observed the couple and added enthusiastically, "This is one of the highlights of our wedding season. If you hold your 'Lost Atlantis' wedding here, you can not only propose but also get a complimentary wedding photo album."

As soon as she heard "wedding photos," Wang Wanwan's eyes lit up. She stared intently at Xu Yong.

"No, you're pregnant!" Xu Yong reiterated firmly, glancing resentfully at Chen Jianhai, who he was sure had done this on purpose.

To quickly move away from this tricky situation, Xu Yong said, "Boss Chen, can you show us the other places?"

"Of course, this way, please," Chen Jianhai said, leading them enthusiastically to the next spot: the Glass Corridor Walkway by the Sea.

Meanwhile, in the ladies' restroom on the first floor of the hotel, Qin Mengqiu was bored, scrolling through her phone. Suddenly, she received a text from Wang Wanwan with a picture and a message: "Xiao Qiu, look at this! Isn't it beautiful?"

Curious, Qin Mengqiu opened the picture to see a large, dreamy underwater room with a bed beneath a huge glass wall. She was stunned. Could her cousin have left so soon?

As she walked out of the restroom, typing a response, "Sis, which hotel is this? It's so beautiful!" She paused at the sink to touch up her makeup, then walked towards the lobby.

Three figures brushed past her, scaring her pale. She nearly cried out but managed to stay quiet. Luckily, Wang Wanwan was busy texting, and Xu Yong was talking to Chen Jianhai, so no one noticed her. Had any of them glanced her way, they would have seen Qin Mengqiu frozen in fear.

Watching them walk away, she quickly darted back into the restroom, deciding not to come out until she was sure they had left.

The front desk girl noticed Qin Mengqiu's odd behavior and assumed she had a stomachache. She called Chen Jianhai, "Boss, I need to report something. Xiao Qiu seems to have a serious stomachache from the cafeteria food. I suspect it's the chili peppers from the kitchen!"
