Fresh blood

Alora bristled at his question as she looked at him bemused. His straight gaze oozed power and stiffness but his actions were soft and amusing.

She turned mute, thinking what should she answer him. No! It would finish everything for her if she told him who her Sire was. And why the hell would she tell him. It was merely a deal to them, nothing personal. It was a give-and-take kind of agreement so she was not entitled to confide in him in any way.

"Your master might have forgotten to tell you something! Ain't he?" Crimson asked once again at her silence. He was just the perfect manipulator who knows how to turn his ploy and play the game to his own advantage.

Alora didn't answer as she understood that if she wanted him to confide in her then she had to do the same. So it's better to stop the idea of knowing his weaknesses to use against him for now. She should just focus on her mission for now.
