Chapter:-92 Director Sanderburg?

I was just about to write a request to transfer you to our team.

But then you quit. Captain Damon Long was another team leader in the Summerfield

Police. Keith laughed and said, Unfortunately, I resigned before you could transfer me.

Otherwise, Sergeant Taylor would have killed us all. Damon laughed and said, You're

right. She's very protective of her team.

He looked at Keith and laughed again. You've gained quite a reputation. Chief Cooper's

been bragging about you all over, even said how good your grades are.

But after watching your interview after the entrance exams, the old man was so angry

that I thought his head was going to explode. He said if he hadn't already quit, he might

have fired you himself. Keith rubbed his nose and said with a sheepish smile.

Why do you all think I'm joking? It really wasn't that hard. Damon laughed even harder.

The policewoman beside him started to chuckle to Keith.

Sergeant Taylor saw the video and was so angry that she wanted to strangle you. I really

admire you. The onlookers were dumbfounded.

They might not know who Chief Cooper and Quinn Taylor were, but how could the Black

Snake not know? He looked at Keith, dumbfounded. He secretly felt lucky that he'd been

wise enough to stay on Keith's good side. If he'd been a little more stubborn, he'd be in

prison by now for sure.

Luca was also quite frightened. It seemed that this Keith guy, whom he'd previously

looked down upon, had all the most powerful people in the city under his thumb. Luca

would have to be stupid to dare have desires of his sister.

He looked at his elder brother uneasily, but the man with the glasses was looking at

Keith with a cold smile on his face, remembering why they were there. Damon suddenly

said seriously, Mr. Santos, you said someone stole from you? Who is it? Dante Santos

was Luca's older brother. He pointed at Megan and her friend.

C's too, Captain. Oh? Damon frowned, but Megan shouted, you wronged us. While I wasn't paying attention, you stuffed the jacket into my bag.

Damon looked at the two young women who were hiding behind Keith. He asked in

surprise, Keith, do you know them? Keith nodded calmly. One's my sister.

The others are classmate. I see. Damon nodded and looked at Dante.

What about the surveillance cameras in the building? Take us to have a look at them.

Dante replied. I'm really sorry.

The surveillance cameras have been broken over the past few days. They're currently

being repaired, but these two girls were caught by our employees. They did find a jacket

worth $10,000 in their bag.

Caught? Damon sneered. Why didn't you call the police immediately? What right do you

have to search them? Dante was at a loss for words for a moment and said with the

placating smile, we don't want things to get out of hand. We just want to recover our

costs.

That's all. The words put him on the side of morality. Damon snorted lightly and didn't

say anything else.

According to the law, stealing something worth more than $1,000 could result in prison

time. Even a minor could be detained for at least a few days. He looked at Megan and

her friend, hesitated for a moment, and then said, this is all just accusations.

There's no surveillance evidence of the scene. How about this? The people involved will

follow us back to the station to make a statement. We'll make a decision after an

investigation is carried out.

Keith, you can escort your sister and her friend, but don't let them be afraid, Keith said

with a faint smile. Captain Long, Mr. Santos here says there were no surveillance

cameras, but do we know for a fact that's the case? Dante sneered when he heard that.

Are you saying I'm lying? If you don't believe me, you can go check for yourselves.

Is that so? Keith said calmly. I didn't say you were lying. Why are you so worked up?

Framing a minor for stealing and falsifying evidence is a serious crime.

Don't you think so? Dante's face changed. He shouted, Bullshit. You can say whatever you want, but don't

slander me in public.

I have a reputation to hold. The crowd turned to look at Dante. His face turned green,

and he snorted.

If you suspect me, you can go to the monitoring room and take a look yourself. There's

no need to be so malicious. Keith said with a cold smile, The monitoring room is your

turf.

Won't I be asking for trouble if I go there alone? As he spoke, he turned to Damon.

Captain Long, I have a friend who works in Olive Industries. He's already gone to the

Headquarters Monitoring Center to retrieve the recordings.

I estimate that he should be here any moment now. Damon said in surprise, Keith, do

you want to watch the surveillance camera here first? Keith nodded, but Dante sneered

and said, Keith, Olive Industries' Security Department has to get approval for the transfer

of surveillance footage. Only an executive officer can sign off on it.

Is that friend of yours, Julian Rhodes, by any chance? He's not an exec. Seeing Keith's

indifferent expression, Dante continued with a sneer. What's the point of you bragging

here and wasting everyone's time? Your sister stole something.

So what's there left to discuss? You're using your relationship with some middle manager

at HQ to try and get her off the hook. How do you think that makes you look? Keith

looked at him with disgust. What? Do you want to go to the police station that badly?

Don't worry.

You'll be there later. Damon was silent for a moment as he looked at Dante's expression.

Based on his many years of experience, he was almost certain that there was something

wrong with this guy.

He said in a deep voice, Since there might be new evidence here, let's wait here. We

don't want Keith's friends to come for nothing. Dante's face darkened when he heard

that.

But he was certain that there was no way Keith could get the footage from headquarters.

He said with a cold smile, In that case, sure, let's wait. But Keith, I have to tell you, this

matter has caused a loss to the reputation of our company.

No matter what the result is, I'll get our lawyers to sue you. Be prepared to receive the papers. Keith said calmly, Okay, you're not the first to sue me.

It seems that the courts will be seeing a lot of me soon. Just then, a Maybach pulled up

beside them. Julian jumped out of the car and separated from the crowd.

Before he could greet Keith for the first time, Dante came over. He said intimately, Mr.

Rhodes, you came at the right time. Someone stole something from our store and was

caught by the staff.

I wanted to report this to you. Julian looked at him with a cold smile and said, You're

pretty bold, aren't you, Mr. Rhodes? Julian turned to Keith and said respectfully, Director

Sanderberg, I brought you the surveillance tapes. Do you want to take a look? When he

said this, everyone was stunned.

Director Sanderberg? Why would the head of Olive Industries' security department call

Keith Director Sanderberg? Could this young man be a senior executive of the company?

Dante's entire body trembled. He knew all the senior executives of Olive Industries. The

only one he didn't know was the recently appointed vice CEO.

The man that even old Mr. Strauss and Olivia Strauss respected. The new vice CEO had

not been seen since he was appointed. He had an unusual arrangement that allowed him

to come and go as he pleased.

So even the people at HQ hadn't seen him yet. All they knew was that he was even

younger than Ms. Strauss. The realization slowly dawned on Dante that this legendary

figure and Keith were the same person.

Dante's entire body went limp and he crumbled to the ground. Keith snorted and said,

Just give the video to Captain Long. Okay.

Julian handed the iPad to Damon. Captain, our company has already investigated the

matter. We're sorry that such a scoundrel has caused you all this trouble.

Damon took the iPad and looked at it with his colleagues. Sure enough, it was Mike who

had stuffed the jacket into Megan's bag when she wasn't paying attention. Damon's face

darkened and he said coldly, falsely accusing a minor and deceiving the police.

Take him away. Yes, sir. A few officers picked Dante up from where he was still lying

limply on the ground.

They were about to drag him into the police car. When Dante suddenly got a burst of

strength out of nowhere, he knocked the officers over and ran at Keith. He knelt down in

front of Keith and cried bitterly.

Mr. Sandberg, I'm sorry. I worked so hard for so many years for this company. Can you

give me one more chance?
