chapter 4 : New begining

"I can't believe he did this to me," Ava said, tears streaming down her face. "I was a fool to think he cared for me, for my well-being."

"Ava, no need to cry for that asshole. He doesn't deserve your tears," Aurora said, unable to bear seeing her friend in such distress.

Ava whispered, "I thought he loved me. I thought our relationship would be a sign of our love. But now I'm so shattered, as if torn into different pieces." Aurora didn't notice a single tear fall from her own face as she thought of revenge.

"I gave him my heart, and this is how he repays me?" Ava said, trying hard not to scream.

Aurora replied, "Please, Ava, don't think about that fool Alex. He wasn't meant for you, and I think God knows that too."

The girls embraced each other, sharing their pain and sorrow. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Gradually, Ava began moving on and found peace in her daily paintings. Expressing her feelings through art lifted a great burden off her shoulders.

Aviana stood on the balcony, admiring the city's beauty. She took out a large A4 paper and a black thick pen, along with a drawing board. As the image of nature played in her mind, her hands began creating magic on paper. The ink spilled onto the white paper, turning it into a beautiful representation of Mother Nature. In just 30 seconds, Ava was done and began admiring her painting, which represented peace.

Oblivious to Aurora's presence, Ava gasped in fear as Aurora exclaimed, "Wow, this is beautiful!" Aurora took off her heels and approached the painting, holding it up to the sun. "I know... it's bad, right?" Ava said, bowing slightly.

Aurora replied, "Are you mad? This is so fucking amazing, Ava! This is perfect - no ink stains, clean, and can steal a human heart. Ava, this is talent, and you must not waste it."

Ava said, "I wouldn't call this talent, just luck."

Aurora was dumbfounded and confused. "Come here," she said, pulling Ava back into the room. "What is this on the wall?" she asked, pointing to each of Ava's paintings. Ava remained silent.

"Ava, this is what we call talent, and I must see to it that it's not wasted. Your creativity must be shown to the world." Ava protested, "No..." but Aurora interrupted, "No, no, my words are final. Aviana Morales, you must and will showcase your creativity."

...

A black Lamborghini approached the huge company, and Ethan stepped out, his long and straight legs showcasing his luxurious car. His broad shoulders and well-built body made him look like a giant among mortals. The navy blue suit he wore blended with his perfect emerald eyes, which sparkled like gems but were cold as ice as he walked elegantly towards the company.

"Good day, boss," his staff greeted, but he ignored them until he reached his office. He was on his laptop when he received a call from his mom. "My child," she called out. "Hey, mom." He replied, "Well, I know I'm bothering you, but your niece is back from China and is now a graduate in high school." She said in joy. "Hmmm, be there by 4, okay? Bye." Ethan said as he disconnected the call.

At the other end, Mrs. Santigo was not at all shocked to see his attitude, oblivious to her mother, who had been watching her with keen interest. "How is my grand-garçon?" she asked. "Good, he will be here." She said as she left the living room and went to prepare for the feast.

...

Three months later, Ava stepped into the sleek, modern studio, her heart beating with excitement. This was her first day as a junior artist at the prestigious Bellwether Art Studio. She had worked tirelessly to land this job, and it felt like a dream come true. As she took a deep breath, Aviana couldn't help but think about how far she had come, from the darkness of her past to the beginning of her hope. She had finally found her true life, her dream, and passion - art.

Her colleagues welcomed her with warm smiles that brightened her day, and her mentor and manager, Rachel Lee, showed her the ropes. Aviana felt life as if she was meant to be with and fall for the love of art. With Aurora by her side, Aviana somehow found the courage to confront pain and heal from it. Rory believed in her, and her paintings would get her into a greater place. As Av's confidence grew stronger, so did her art, and soon her paintings were a testament to her resilience.
