Chapter 21: Accusations and Revelations
The next day, Jin Smith returned to Saint Salvator School, determined to fulfill his duties as a teacher. Despite the morning routine, he sensed a palpable tension in the air. Whispers trailed him down the hallways, and he could feel eyes watching his every move.
By mid-morning, the accusations started to surface. Mrs. Thompson, a usually kind-hearted math teacher, approached him with a stern expression. "Jin, I've heard some troubling things. They say you've been stealing supplies from the storeroom," she said, her voice filled with disbelief.
Jin felt a surge of frustration. "That's not true, Mrs. Thompson. I would never do such a thing."
Unfortunately, her concern was just the beginning. As the day progressed, more teachers came forward with similar claims. Each accusation was more outrageous than the last, painting Jin as a deceitful and untrustworthy individual.
Despite the growing storm of rumors, Mr. Harris, a senior teacher known for his integrity, stood by Jin's side. "This is nonsense. Jin has always been an exemplary teacher," Mr. Harris declared to anyone who would listen. But his defense seemed to fall on deaf ears.
By noon, Jin was summoned to the principal's office. Principal Bob, a small-statured man with a bald head and a greedy, corrupt personality, sat behind his large mahogany desk with a smug look on his face. "Mr. Smith," he began, his tone dripping with condescension, "this school does not tolerate stealing and negative behavior. You have two days to clear your name, or you're fired."
Jin's jaw tightened, but he kept his composure. "I understand, Principal Bob," he replied coolly, leaving the office with a sense of resolve.
The rest of the day passed in a blur. Jin tried to focus on teaching, but the constant whispers and accusatory glances made it difficult. He knew he had to uncover the truth behind these baseless accusations.
As the final bell rang, Jin received a notification from the Trillionaire System. "Reward: Information on the mastermind behind the accusations." It was Ben, a fellow teacher who had disliked Jin from the start. Ben was known for his jealousy and petty behavior, and it seemed he had finally found a way to try and oust Jin from the school.
Determined to clear his name, Jin headed home, deep in thought about how to expose Ben. Exhausted, he finally fell into a restless sleep, a plan forming in his mind.
The next morning, Jin returned to school with a renewed sense of purpose. He had a plan to expose Ben and clear his name, but he knew he had to bide his time. He went through his day as usual, teaching his students and maintaining a calm demeanor despite the hostile environment.
As the end of the school day approached, Jin decided it was time to confront the principal. He gathered the evidence provided by the Trillionaire System and headed to Principal Bob's office. To his surprise, Ben was already there, chatting casually with the principal.
"Principal Bob, I have something important to discuss," Jin began, stepping into the office.
Principal Bob glanced up, annoyance flickering in his eyes. "Make it quick, Jin. I'm busy."
Jin took a deep breath and presented the evidence against Ben. "This is proof that Ben has been orchestrating the false accusations against me."
Ben's face paled, but he quickly recovered, laughing dismissively. "This is ridiculous. Principal Bob, you know me. I would never do such a thing."
Principal Bob looked between Jin and Ben, a smirk forming on his lips. "Ben is a great teacher and a respected member of this school. I don't believe these baseless accusations for a second."
Jin's patience wore thin, but he remained calm. "I understand your loyalty to Ben, Principal Bob. But the evidence speaks for itself."
Just as the principal was about to dismiss him, the final bell rang. Principal Bob sneered, "Your time is up, Jin. You're fired. Don't ever come back."
As Jin left the office, his phone buzzed with another notification from the Trillionaire System. He had received a reward for enduring the unjust accusations: he had successfully acquired Saint Salvator School and was now its new owner.
Laughing to himself, Jin received a call from the higher-ups confirming his ownership. He turned back to Principal Bob and Ben, who were still in the office. "It looks like you two will have to find new jobs," Jin said, unable to hide his satisfaction.
Ben looked confused, but Principal Bob started laughing. "If you can fire me, I'll bow to you and lick your shoes."
Jin dialed the head office of his newly acquired school. "I want Principal Bob fired immediately," he said.
Principal Bob's phone rang, and he answered it with a smug look. Moments later, his expression turned to shock as he was told to pack his things and leave. "This can't be happening," he stammered.
Ben stepped in, trying to defend Bob. "Don't worry, Principal Bob. My uncle, Mr. Edward, will sort this out."
Jin smiled at Ben's confidence. "Mr. Edward, you say? Let's see about that." Jin called the Star Palace and ordered the dismissal of Mr. Edward. He then addressed Ben. "Your uncle's influence won't help you now."
Moments later, Mr. Edward called Ben, instructing him to apologize and bow to Jin. Ben and Bob, realizing their predicament, reluctantly bowed and licked Jin's shoes. But Jin wasn't satisfied. "You both are still fired, and your uncle, too," he said coldly.
Leaving the office, Jin headed to his Bugatti, parked discreetly to avoid drawing attention. As he drove to his villa, the Trillionaire System asked if he wanted to change his job early. Jin eagerly accepted the new job as a bartender. "Sounds amusing," he chuckled, falling asleep as soon as he hit the bed.
