Another Phoenix warrior lunged at a younger vampire, his sword trailing fire as he swung. The vampire ducked under the blade and retaliated with a swipe of his claws, tearing through the warrior's armor and drawing blood.

The warrior screamed in pain but retaliated by thrusting his flaming sword forward, managing to graze the vampire's shoulder and igniting his cloak.

"Argh!" the young vampire yelped, tearing off the burning fabric and tossing it aside.

Meanwhile, Idris locked eyes with the Phoenix Blood squad leader. "You should have stayed in your territory, human," he growled.

The leader grinned, his teeth flashing white against the background of flames. "And miss the chance to kill a few more of you leeches? I think not."
