Star Card Master (Part 1)

His bright prospects and future abruptly came to a halt.

However, this wasn't the most devastating blow for the original owner.

The original owner was resilient.

His innate mental power talent wasn't particularly high; he was one of the few who, through postnatal training, forcefully elevated his mental power level to become a Level A Star Card Maker.

Despite the setback from the mental power accident, the original owner wasn't defeated.

He planned to restore his mental power and regain his former level.

Yet, before he could recover, the original owner faced a double betrayal from his former team and childhood friends.

The people he considered as close as family, cruelly expelled him from the team, solely because he could no longer provide high-level Star Cards anymore for the team!

No matter how high the original owner's past achievements were, he was now just a Level C Star Card Maker.

To them, he had become a burden, and they saw no reason to keep him in the team.

His position would soon be filled by a more outstanding Level A Star Card Maker!

The original owner was an orphan; his parents had passed away early.

Since a very young age, he had been living with his childhood friends on the team.

Even after successfully advancing to a Level A Star Card Maker and despite numerous major factions recognizing his potential and offering substantial sums to invite him to their hunter teams, he still turned down every enticing offer.

In the original owner's eyes, this team wasn't just a hunter team; it was his family and his loved ones!

But his 'family' heartlessly abandoned him upon learning that she had lost his value as a Star Card Maker.

Even his childhood friend, who had grown up with him and was supposed to be by his side for life, looked at him with disdain.

At that moment, the original owner's heart couldn't bear it anymore, and then he collapsed internally.

Despite his subsequent attempts to regain his status as a Level A Star Card Maker, he still failed.

He could only manage to produce low-level one-star Star Cards, and barely earn enough for basic living expenses, just to get by.

Gradually, the original owner's physical and mental health deteriorated.

Each mental power assessment result was worse than the last one.

Eventually, the doctors even advised him to give up on cardmaking.

They said that even producing one-star Star Cards was a tremendous strain for the current him now.

If he continued like this, not only would his mental power suffer, but his guiding ability and vitality would also be greatly damaged.

Undoubtedly, this grim news was akin to sentencing the original owner to death once again.

However, at most, it was just a severe blow to his mental power.

It hadn't reached the point of brain death, and letting Chun Ho-Jin from the post-apocalypse era to be reborn in his body.

What truly crushed the original owner was an 'invitation to craft star cards' three days ago.
