One-Star Star Card (Part 1)

It's just about raising a star level, yet their energy structures were more than twice as complicated as those of one-star star cards.

With his current level of precision in mental power, making a one-star star card might still be achievable, but creating a two-star star card was proving exceedingly difficult.

Wait, couldn't he simplify the structure?

As long as he could produce a card with a space storage function, wouldn't that be enough?

After all, there's more than one type of spatial item, like space particles, space bags, and so on.

Although Chun Ho-Jin hadn't seen the physical form of a two-star star card, based on the data in the records, a two-star space button card should be capable of opening a 1x1x1 meter storage space, essentially creating a portable suitcase.

If the card he created met these parameters, wouldn't that be enough?

The more he thought about it, the more feasible this method seemed.

He quickly regained his focus, took a deep breath, and began to manipulate his mental power.

He constructed the energy structure based on his understanding of the storage space.

Unlike the intricate energy structures prevalent in this world, Chun Ho-Jin's approach was much simpler and direct.

He followed his own mental image and weaved the pocket dimension directly.

His reference wasn't anything else but the inventory storage backpack he frequently encountered in games in his previous life.

During the post-apocalyptic era, many space ability users developed their abilities toward this type of gaming storage backpack, making it the most familiar storage form for Chun Ho-Jin.

This time, making the card feel much smoother.

After only three failures and three scrapped cards, he successfully crafted the storage space card.

At the moment of success, accompanied by the card's bright glow, the azure particles swirling around Chun Ho-Jin instantly converged him and transferred it back into a star card.

This star card looks completely different from before.

Instead of a blank surface, it now features various colorful patterns, somewhat resembling the storage grid Chun Ho-Jin previously crafted with energy threads.

At this point, the card's star level remains undetermined.

It requires a specialized star card assessment device, something almost every star card maker possesses, including the original owner.

The original owner's star card assessment device sits not far from the bedside table.

It's roughly palm-sized with two card slots—one for the energy card powering its mechanical functions, and the other for the card that undergoing evaluation.

However, whether due to a malfunction or some other issue with the assessment device, when Chun Ho-Jin inserted the newly crafted space star card, it took significantly longer than usual to determine its star level.

It took about three times the normal detection time for the machine to finally assign a star level to the card and engrave it in the upper right corner.

As the assessment concluded and the card spat out, Chun Ho-Jin anxiously retrieved it from the device.

This was his first successfully created star card, and despite some nervousness, seeing the one-star rating in the upper right corner did bring a tinge of disappointment.
