Tea and music

"What do you mean I should go alone?" James asked Angus as they set around the breakfast table.

Angus nodded his head. "I meant what I said. I'm not going back yet. I don't think they want to see me besides the fact you need me here to protect Hawks Landing while you away. Besides the fact you won't have any trouble getting there on your own and your going to a trouble free place. Everyone one there will be expecting you."

James frowned shaking his head. "Why do you seem so down about me going there?"

Angus frowned blinking his eyes and shook his head. "No. No. I'm not sad at all. Today is a big day. Your going to my old stomping ground son. It's a big day. It would have been better if I had had a chance to make you a cake or something for it but hell I make you something later."

James snorted and looked at Dago who was making a rude jester at him. James laughed loudly in his face. "What the hell did I do to you now?"

"Leave me alone, asshole. I want to go to the lost temple. I hate you and your ugly." Dago said bluntly.

James snorted in laughter and looked at Mara who was looking serious and staring down at her plate. "Mara."

She looked up at him. "You have to come back."

James stared at her. "I am coming. I'm not even going to stay the full day. It will be maybe just a few hours at best. I'm going to talk with the masters exchange notes and then I'll come back immediately."

Mara studied. "Are you sure. It is a place you wanted to go to for sense you've heard of it from your father. You could learn things there that would make you-" She paused staring at him.

James blinked. "What?!"

Mara stared at him. "Oh. You've already advanced past anything they could teach you. Haven't you?!"

James snorted shaking his head. "Your thinking to far ahead. What we're doing here interests me more then anything else right now. Though I do want to give back to the masters that taught dad all he knows and helped him become what he is."

Mara nodded her head slowly. "Are you going to share secrets with the far eastern wizards while they keep their secrets from us?" She asked coolly.

James laughed and shook my head. "No. I won't have too. I just need to pass on information to them that I don't want to talk about openly here." He said.

"Why not speak it now?" Ava said immediately.

James smiled. "Because somethings are to dangerous to spoken even now. I would rather pass on the knowledge in a more secure realm. Our security here still needs to be updated. It's time I passed on information to them."

Ava shook her head at James. "You've probably given them enough and every other wizard with back sight on hand enough information to claim as their own. Added on to that they have done nothing to help us with security or helping you in your purpose. Why give them anything more then a kind thank you?"

James smiled. "I have a duty to pass on what I know and create new magic for this age before I pass on mother. It is my responsibility to my generation and to the generations that will follow after me." He said firmly before taking up his cup and drinking water.

Angus sighed. "Damn. The old fellas at the temple are you really going to love you. They love that mysterious sage talking bullshit."

James laughed. "I'm trying to do what I do best."

They were all quiet and Ava stared at him sighing. "This isn't right. It feels like your giving the world everything and everyone hasn't done shit for you yet but attempt to kill you or destroy your creations. Your a rare wizard James. Once in a thousandth genius such as yourself are discovered."

James shrugged. "Maybe. But, I haven't made that many creations and I haven't claimed to be that great of wizard or genius people believe me to be."

Angus stared at him. "You took hold of thunderbolt with your bare hands and turned into a magazine for my peacemaker to fire out magic to create a weapons smith building. I think that makes you more then a little special."

"A weapons smith building!?" James said in surprise.

Angus grimaced. "Yes. Sorry I couldn't think of anything grand. I just thought of something you might need." He said.

James' lips made an O shape as his eyes went wide. "You made a weapon smith building. Patronum weapons?! Holy shit bro. Holy shit. You do you know-"

"James." Angus said with a patient voice though he smiled. "You have to get going now. We'll talk later and You'll have enough time to create everything in your mind."

James took his staff in hand and Mara put side shackle over his shoulder and gave him a kiss. "Have fun but come back soon. I'll miss you."

James gave her wink and turned Ava kissing her on a cheek before he turned and appeared in the mist realm. He waited a bit and then he sat on the ground placing his staff across his lap as he started meditate and wait for a few minutes.

"Hey. What are you doing?" Zhao Chen said calmly.

James sighed but kept his eye lids closed. "I'm practicing meditation."

"You could have asked me to open the door for you or at least knocked a bit." Zhao said.

James chuckled and opened his eyes to see Zhao's friendly dark eyes and grinning lips. He glowed in hue of positive energy and warmth all directed at James.

James took in the lost temple it hadn't changed at all sense the last time he had seen it in his visions. "Hello Master Chen. It's been a long time sense the last time I saw you."

"Hello James Potter. It has been a long time coming but welcome back." He said held out his hand.

James too his hand and stood to his feet taking his staff in his other hand. He shook Zhao hand and bowed to him. "You look well. Thank you." I said.

Zhao nodded his head. "We have much to discuss and talk about. Tell me what are these notes you wished to pass on to us?"

James took out a clear bottle and passed it on to him along with a notebook. Zhao took the items and then just as quickly pass them on to a student that came near him. He looked at him.

"What do you wish to share? Do you think you could think something to create here or is there another reason for coming here?" Zhao asked.

James looked around seeing others practicing their magic with masters while others stood in groups staring at him. He didn't like that. He crunched down and touched the sandy yellow brick flooring with his finger and started drawing circles on it.

"Aren't you interested in what type of magic we use to mask this realm?"

James smiled. "Not really."

"Not really! Well. I guess you wouldn't care so much sense you already know. When did you realize it? Today or a few years ago?"

James shrugged continuing to draw on the yellow bricks. The images he drew started to glow. Zhao saw it as did many other but they said nothing. They watched him work quietly. The fingers on his fingers glowed different colors as he worked.

"Hmm." James said finally.

Zhao snorted in laughter. "Are you interested in trying out one of our old swords here? How about learning a spell shield technique."

James snorted and he shook his head. "No thank you. Do you make a good cup of tea?" He asked and then watched as the symbols he crafted began to raise off the yellow stones and began to dance around him.

A cup of tea was set in front of him. James set down on the floor cross legged and picked up the cup and sniffed it and took a sip. He moaned and smiled. "That's good. Will you teach me how to make it." He asked Zhao.

Zhao took a seat in front James with a cup of his own and touched the symbols that danced in the air. A musical sound came out of the symbol. He nodded in approval. "Magi music. What is the purpose of it though? I wonder. It does have a lovely sound."

James paused and drank his tea and grinned. "Damn. That is good tea. How does the sound make you feel?" He said.

Zhao frowned. "Excuse me?!"

James nodded pointing at Zhao's chest. "How does the sound feel to you? Magi music has a strong healing effect for the soul as well for a weak heart."

Zhao froze and then his face relaxed into an easy smile. "Thank you for your concern. I feel that I will be well brother James. It will all be well. What is the question swimming in your mind in these times of genesis of a new era?" He said and sipped his tea from his cup.

James sighed as the magical symbols danced around them. "It is so strange."

"What is strange?" Zhao asked.

James stared a far off as the magical images he had created danced around them. "We can do so much with magic. We can create beauty, music, joy and life. Why do we-"

"No." Zhao said. "Such questions are pointless to you. It is your path to use magic to do those things. The others have chosen their paths. Let them be on their path. You must do your duty."

James nodded. "Yes. I know but I don't understand why I am not allowed to be on my path."

Zhao sighed and shrugged. "Jealousy and misunderstanding. It was the same with your predecessor. The man of the mist thought the same as yourself. Perhaps you will manage better then he did. Your avoiding the trap masterfully so far. You have many years still until you come into your prime."

James nodded. "I will do my best, master Zhao. I fear I will fail or be distracted from doing what I am supposed to do. It's simple enough but I have"

"Do you wish to stay here until you have come into your prime?" Zhao asked bluntly. "You are welcome here."

James shook his head. "I can not. It was dangerous enough me coming here now. The current dark Lord will come to you. You must remain neutral and protect the ancient ways. No matter what happens to me. We must push forward. Until we meet again old friend. Though I hope in better times over tea and music."

Zhao smiled. "You will do well. You will do well. The recipe for the tea is in your bag. Visit us when you have time. We wish you well your highness. Thank you for returning to us for short visit and adding onto temple here." He said bowing to him.

James snorted in laughter. "Your highness?! Me?! Dago would love to rub that shit in my face. No. No. It's a the new age older brother. I ain't no king. I'm going to the next President of the Congress of Wizards. Leave that stuff for the old farts later." He said grinning.

Zhao lifted his head and laughed. James grinned and disappeared.
