Accidental Touch

Taro couldn't shake off the feeling that Kenji had seen right through him. He wondered if he'd been too obvious, too transparent. The thought sent a shiver down his spine. Had Kenji figured out his secret? And if so, what did it mean for their friendship? Would Kenji still want to be friends with him if he knew the truth? Would he be repulsed, disgusted, or worse, pity him?

The next day, they found themselves sitting together in the library, researching for a project. Taro's heart raced as Kenji leaned in close, their shoulders almost touching. He tried to focus on the books, but his mind kept wandering back to their intense stare-down the day before. What was Kenji thinking? Was he trying to send a message? Did he know that Taro's heart belonged to him?

As they delved deeper into their research, Taro's anxiety grew. He couldn't concentrate on the words in front of him, his thoughts consumed by Kenji's piercing gaze. Those eyes seemed to see right through him, into the depths of his soul. What was Kenji searching for? Did he suspect anything? Did he know that Taro's heart skipped a beat every time he was near?

As they reached for the same book on the shelf, their hands touched, and a spark of electricity ran through Taro's body. He quickly pulled his hand back, his face flushing. The touch sent shivers down his spine, and he felt his heart skip a beat. It was as if time had stopped, and all that existed was the two of them, connected by that brief touch.

"Sorry," Kenji said, looking at him with a curious expression. "I didn't mean to startle you."

Taro shook his head, trying to play it cool. "It's okay, I just... uh... didn't expect it."

Kenji nodded, but his eyes lingered on Taro's, as if searching for something. Taro felt like he was drowning in those eyes, unable to look away. The tension between them was palpable, and Taro's mind raced with questions. What did this touch mean? Was it just an accident, or was Kenji trying to send a message?

As they continued their research, the air was thick with unspoken words. Taro's heart raced with anticipation, wondering what would happen next. Would Kenji make another move, or was this just a fleeting moment? Would they ever be more than just friends?

The silence between them was deafening, punctuated only by the sound of pages turning and pencils scratching against paper. Taro's thoughts swirled with emotions, his heart beating faster with every passing moment. He felt like he was standing on the edge of a precipice, staring into the unknown.
