And then, I knew that by just a simple flick of my wrist, I could easily get hold of the blade from my sleeve and just cut his palm so that he would let me go. In that very split second when he was shocked, I sprinted out of the room with my heart in my mouth.

The walls were closing in on me. Not literally, but the weight of everything pressing against my chest made it impossible to breathe.
