Sudden Death

Early the next morning, Lin Yimo was not feeling well. He hadn't even driven himself to school; it was his driver who brought him.

As he entered the school gate, he saw the Mu family's car and paused.

When Gu Qingqing approached, he asked, "Did you send me a message last night?"

Gu Qingqing innocently replied, "No."

Her tone was so calm as if he had just dreamt it.

Lin Yimo took out his phone, opened Weixin, and showed her the interface where she retracted the messages.

Gu Qingqing, with her round innocent eyes, said, "You must be mistaken. There's nothing there."

Damn it!

Lin Yimo had never seen such shamelessness before. Even when the evidence was right in front of her, she refused to admit it. Even if she said it was a system error or a mistake, it would at least show she was human!

But Gu Qingqing didn't seem to care. With a nonchalant expression, she left without giving him any explanation or taking responsibility for his sleepless night.
