Conn the Beheader!
**Book of Experience: Lorewalker Zhou Zhuo**
**Experience Level: BOSS**
Zhou Zhuo?
What's this all about?
As one of the most renowned pandaren in World of Warcraft, Lorewalker Zhou Zhuo naturally knew about it and was intrigued. After all, Zhou Zhuo was nicknamed "The Eighth Sha of Pandaria, the Sha of Inferiority," with countless tales circulating about him.
However, he was equally surprised to be the target of this challenge.
Especially since Zhou Zhuo's level was not clearly defined, but listed as "BOSS," which was unprecedented and left Forseti bewildered.
Yet, he was immediately drawn to another dropped item.
**Forging Blueprint: Conn the Beheader**
**Conn the Beheader**
**Type: Battle Axe**
**Standard Item Level: Level 6**
**Main Materials: Dark Iron, Wild Blood, Azeroth Diamond**
Conn the Beheader!
Upon seeing this name, Forseti was quite taken aback.
The Beheader Conn, a very famous purple weapon from the early days, renowned for its exceedingly high damage and popularity.
Sanqi's decapitator, Conn, was rated at level 6, the same as the Aojin Axe.
Of course, the appraisal range for Holy Artifacts was quite vast, and the difference might not be negligible. According to the game's impression, Forseti felt that Conn the Beheader should be inferior to the Aojin Axe.
This could also be inferred from its materials.
The primary material of the Arcanite Axe was Arcanite, one of the top metals in World of Warcraft.
Forseti had long suspected that in this world, alternatives to Aojin could only be powerful metals like Vibranium or Uru. This proved to be the case. Previous identifications of the Uru Shard indicated a 144% match for Aojin. While considerably higher, it still fell within the same tier.
The main material for Conn the Beheader was dark iron.
Naturally, wild blood and Azeroth diamonds were also present, but dark iron stood out as the primary material.
Dark iron was unquestionably inferior to Aojin, yet more practical, with its substitutes being less rare within the universe than Vibranium and Uru.
Forseti couldn't help but ponder if Conn the Beheader might be his next weapon...
After leaving the experience space, Forseti embarked on a day's work at the herbal shop, crafting and selling potions, then headed to the Brave Hunter Tavern for his customary noon meal.
With Asgard's once-in-a-century Hunting Festival approaching, the Brave Hunter Tavern buzzed with activity, abuzz with talk of the upcoming event.
"What, Tialfi captured the Four-Horned Goat?"
"You didn't hear? That's big news. Where have you been?"
"And Tyarfis?"
"I heard he's been training tirelessly with swords and arrows, probably aiming for a big catch in Nornheim..." Tialfi's exploits remained a hot topic among the patrons.
"I recall Balder capturing a colossal dragon at the last Hunting Festival—a Thunder Dragon with a single wing that shook the heavens!" Someone suddenly reminisced.
"I heard Balder also captured the heart of Karnilla, the daughter of the Duke of Norn?"
"Yes."
"I've seen Karnilla, and you wouldn't believe how buxom she is!"
Forseti silently savored his lamb chops when a hand tapped his shoulder. "Hey, Forseti."
Forseti turned to see a lean young man taking a seat beside him. "Hermond, what brings you here?"
It was Hermond.
Hermond grinned. "I came to the Hunter Tavern to soak in the pre-Hunting Festival atmosphere... And I hear you're also in Princess Hela's hunting party?"
"Forseti's expression shifted. "Also?"
Hermond nodded. "My father has always been with Lord Odin, so naturally, I follow Princess Hela. But honestly, I'm not too keen on the Hunting Festival."
"Why's that? Your divine abilities should make you perfectly suited for hunting," Forseti remarked with a smile. "Even a giant dragon—if you spot it, your speed could catch up in an instant, and then, a thousand cuts to its throat."
"Starting and stopping is still a hassle... Besides, if speed alone determined prowess, I'd already be Asgard's top warrior—or better yet, the universe's," Hermond sighed.
The two conversed for a while.
When Forseti returned home, evening had already descended.
A towering, heroic figure stood at the herbal shop's entrance, gleaming in golden armor.
"Forseti Garrison?" the Einherjar inquired impatiently, having waited a while.
Forseti hurried forward, anticipation swelling. "That's me."
Einherjar stated bluntly, "The Hunting Festival commences soon. Three days from now, gather at the Rainbow Bridge at noon. Lord Ullr will transport participants to Nornheim. Be prepared."
"Understood. Thank you," Forseti nodded.
Three days swiftly passed.
Forseti packed his belongings at home, stowing Verrigan's Fist, the Staff, and the Ice Shaper's Longbow in Sanctuary Space one by one. He also included various potions like Healing Stones, Cold Relief, Swiftness Potions, and essentials such as food and water.
Unfortunately, despite years of searching, a substitute for Sun Grass had yet to be found, preventing the creation of Agility Potions.
After securing everything, Forseti locked up and made his way to the Rainbow Bridge.
Upon arrival, he encountered Tialfi without incident. Armed with a large knife at his waist and a longbow on his back, Tialfi appeared fully prepared.
The two conversed until it was time, then joined the other contestants at the Rainbow Bridge's teleportation hall. Uller promptly activated the Rainbow Bridge, transporting everyone to Nornheim.
"Welcome to Nornheim, warriors," a somewhat chilly female voice greeted upon arrival.
Forseti looked up to see a long-haired woman in a flowing purple gown, accompanied by attendants, approaching the gathering.
She possessed exquisite beauty, crowned with crystal and draped in a purple gown that accentuated her graceful figure, evoking awe akin to the peaks and valleys.
Most contestants were men, many visibly struck by her presence.
Unfazed, she continued matter-of-factly, "I am Karnilla, daughter of the Duke, and I welcome you on behalf of Nornheim and my mother."
"Accommodations have been arranged for you at the Golden Tower to the east. Until the official Hunting Festival commences, you may rest there. Alternatively, you may arrange accommodations elsewhere," Karnilla stated calmly.
Forseti suddenly felt a nudge in his peripheral vision and looked over to see a familiar figure waving enthusiastically among Karnilla's entourage.
Dressed in a long blue gown, possessing gentle features and a serene demeanor, she bit her lip while waving eagerly to Forseti.
Forseti blinked in surprise. "El?"
Was this woman his cousin El. Who could she be?
