Sacrifice Aura

Looking at the fiery red meteorite in the sky, everyone was dumbfounded and overwhelmed.

What to do?

They couldn't escape the meteorite's impact. Avoiding a direct hit was possible, but the meteorite's destructive range far exceeded its impact site.

Forseti knew some meteorites in the universe had power surpassing even the nuclear weapons of later generations.

As the meteorite rapidly approached, a soldier collapsed, clutching his head and screaming, while others stood pale and frozen.

Forseti clenched his fist: "Everyone, follow me, and don't stray!"

"Did you hear me? Follow me if you want to live!" he repeated loudly.

The group snapped out of their stupor and quickly gathered behind Forseti, practically sticking together.

Forseti cast a divine protection spell on the young prince, blessed him, then took off his dragon leather armor and handed it to Skurge.

"Skurge, protect the prince with your life," Forseti said.

Skurge nodded, tucking the prince into his jacket and holding him tightly.

Forseti then cast Divine Protection on all the team members.

The meteorite was now very close, only seconds away from impact. Forseti and the others could feel the strong wind from its approach.

"Move!" Forseti judged the impact point and shouted.

The group followed him, running at full speed.

Seconds later, the meteorite was nearly overhead, just a few kilometers high. At its speed, it was nearly upon them.

Forseti immediately stopped and crouched down, gripping the Scarlet Commander's Shield with both hands.

He planted the shield into the ground, the holy light flickering, forming a giant shield of holy light. He activated two shields, one in each hand.

The giant shield protected Forseti and his team, and he summoned his inner strength.

Sacrifice Aura!

The Sacrifice Aura transferred half of the damage received by teammates to Forseti, borne by him.

Of course, Forseti wouldn't survive absorbing half of the meteorite's power alone, so he relied on the Divine Shield.

As Forseti activated the Sacrifice Aura, the meteorite closed in, only a few hundred meters away, with impact imminent.

Forseti's eyes widened, his palms sweaty.

"Holy Shield!" he shouted.

The rune's holy light enveloped Forseti, and in the next instant, the meteorite struck 100 meters away.

"Boom!!!"

An earth-shattering noise erupted, a dazzling white light blooming from the impact site, illuminating the surrounding darkness as if a sun had broken through a dark cage.

Flames capable of melting immortal steel and shock waves strong enough to tear mountains swept through.

Land near the impact site disintegrated and vaporized. In the blinding light, a crater burst from the ground.

Forseti braced the shield with all his might, feeling momentarily blank.

The Holy Light Shield held for a moment under the impact, then shattered. Flames and shock waves knocked the Scarlet Commander's Shield off the ground and into Forseti.

Fortunately, the holy shield protected him from being stunned by the shield's impact.

Under the Sacrifice Aura, the holy light flickered on the team, synchronizing with Forseti as he shared the damage.

After one second, the holy shield ended, and the Sacrifice Aura dissipated.

"Boom"

The Divine Shield blocked all negative effects, including excessive noise. As the Divine Shield lifted, the true sound of the meteorite impact hit Forseti's ears, causing a buzzing.

"Ah!" The flames and shock waves struck him directly. Despite crouching low, he was thrown back, as were the others. The group was scattered.

Fortunately, after the one-second buffer of the Divine Shield, most of the meteorite's damage had passed.

After a while, the smoke cleared, and calm returned.

In the crater, everyone rose, all seriously injured, bleeding from the corners of their mouths, but none fatally.

"We're alive!" someone exclaimed in disbelief.

Forseti picked up his shield and ran to Skurge: "How is the prince?"

"Wow!" The prince's cry came from inside Skurge's clothes.

Hearing the cry, Forseti sighed in relief.

However, Skurge looked uncomfortable, feeling a lump of something unpleasant in his clothes...

Forseti said after a pause, "Healthy color, isn't it?"

Skurge: "..."

On the high tower, watching Forseti's seemingly unharmed team, troll master Muthurs was stunned.

After a moment, he murmured in disbelief: "How is this possible... Impossible... How is no one dead?"

The old troll nearly had a heart attack, clutching his chest, then raised his staff again, ready to launch a second meteorite attack.

However, Forseti and his team wouldn't give him the chance.

"Let's go!"

Despite their serious injuries, morale was high. They ran at full speed, finally escaping the magic circle.

"Crack!" Forseti immediately crushed the All-Seeing Orb.

The familiar voice of Asgard's gatekeeper, Ullur, reached their ears: "Well done."

The Rainbow Bridge fell from the sky, and in an instant, Forseti and his team were back at the Odin camp.

The second meteorite attack brewing in the sky stopped abruptly, without a sound, like a balloon deflating...

"Phew"

Seeing the familiar camp, Forseti and his team sighed in relief, some collapsing to the ground.

Forseti, vice-captains Fairwind, and Skurge took the prince and headed to the command post.

"Lord Odin, we successfully rescued Prince Hogan," Forseti presented the young prince, freshly changed, to Odin.

Odin smiled, looking at Forseti and his team: "It seems you had an incident, but you resolved it successfully. Well, can you tell me more?"

"Of course, Lord Odin." Fairwind, eager, began recounting their experience, as if he could talk for days.

After a while, Odin appeared bored.

Fairwind: "...Then we approached the castle. By the way, there seems to be a tunnel there, but I didn't see it clearly. It's probably not important, and then..."

"Wait, did you say tunnel?" Odin's expression suddenly changed.
