British Isles
"Let me try again," Forseti said, taking the boy from Howlett.
Holy Light Infusion!
His hands glowed brightly as the power of the Holy Light flowed continuously into the boy's body.
Naturally, the boy's capacity to hold the Holy Light was limited. As Forseti saw it nearing capacity, he began to perform a ' cleanse ' spell
The purifying technique not only detoxified but also dispelled diseases and curses to a certain extent. With the infusion of Holy Light, it was expected to have a potent purifying effect.
The technique worked in tandem with the Holy Light inside the boy. For a moment, the light was so intense that the boy seemed to radiate with it.
"Ah! Ah!" With the intense glow of the Holy Light, the boy cried out, white smoke rising from his body. The reddish-purple hue on his skin vanished along with the smoke.
Howlett clenched his fists, sweat beading on his forehead.
Finally, there was no more smoke, and the boy's skin returned to a normal complexion.
"Phew, he should be fine now," Forseti exhaled.
This boy's ailment was truly peculiar. Last time, Forseti had been completely helpless. This time, it took considerable mana through the dual effects of Holy Light infusion and cleanse to finally cure him.
Howlett examined his son from head to toe. Seeing nothing abnormal, he couldn't help but cry tears of joy, thanking Forseti profusely.
"Thank you, Forseti... If you ever need my help in the future, I won't hesitate!"
Forseti smiled and was about to respond when his expression suddenly changed. He looked at Agamotto and asked, "Would you be willing to accompany Howlett to the British Isles?"
"Of course," Agamotto nodded.
That night, Agamotto crafted a statue to house Khonshu's spirit, providing him a comfortable place to bask in the moon's light every night.
After resting briefly at the Academy, Agamotto summoned Forseti and Howlett to journey to the British Isles to establish the first Supreme Sanctuary.
Diops had nothing better to do, so he tagged along.
In an open area, Agamotto finished casting his spell, and a portal opened.
"Let's go."
Passing through the portal, they found themselves near a hill.
"This is the southern part of the British Isles. There are some indigenous Britons on the island, but not many," Agamotto explained.
Forseti surveyed the area.
The place was densely forested, with a clear river flowing serenely nearby.
In future generations, three Supreme Sanctuaries would be established: the "London Sanctuary" in England, the "Hong Kong Sanctuary" in Hong Kong, and the "New York Sanctuary" in the United States.
In the year 347 BC, however, the concept of London—or even England—did not yet exist. They were pioneers in a completely untouched wilderness.
Agamotto held a golden disc resembling a compass. He took a few steps, and the pointer began spinning.
"This is it," he declared, planting his staff on the ground. "The spatial properties here are exceptional. I intend to build the first Supreme Sanctuary right here."
Forseti nodded, picking up Little Stone Root. "Let's get started on building a grand structure."
"Wow!" Shilput, familiar with the task, spat out debris and quickly molded them into a wall.
Forseti adjusted their direction, and together they swiftly constructed the first rough structure.
Witnessing the rapid construction, Agamotto and Diops were impressed by Shilput's abilities, while Howlett was utterly astonished.
Agamotto stepped forward to touch the stone wall. "I suspect this could be one of the most resilient structures on Earth."
"No doubt. A building crafted by Shilput is stronger than most structures in Asgard," Forseti affirmed.
Diops chimed in, "When we return to Asgard, could I enlist Shilput's help in renovating my home?"
"As long as you keep Shilput well-fed," Forseti chuckled, "but remember, it consumes several times more stone than it produces."
Diops waved off the concern. "Stones are merely the basics; I'll supply as many as needed."
"What should we do next, gather more stones?" Howlett suggested.
"Exactly."
Thus, they divided their tasks: Forseti and Shilput continued building while the others gathered stones to feed Shilput, and Agamotto occasionally conjured gems.
Days later, a massive stone structure resembling a church stood proudly on the hillside, near the mountains and the river.
Though still rough, the building provided shelter from the elements. Its uneven surfaces attested to its hurried construction, leaving much room for improvement.
Agamotto hired a team of craftsmen to refine the structure.
Initially reluctant to work in such a desolate location, the artisans were swayed by Agamotto's generous wages and the novelty of magical portals, eventually accepting the job.
Under their diligent efforts, the Supreme Sanctuary began to take shape, transforming from a rough structure into a more refined building.
One evening, after dinner:
"Still no news from Asgard?" Diops asked Forseti.
Forseti shook his head. "None."
"What could have happened? We might have to remain in Midgard indefinitely," Diops lamented, his voice tinged with concern.
He then asked, "How many Orbs of Allsight do you have left?"
"Two," Forseti replied. "I plan to use another one after completing the Sanctum, hoping to contact Lord Ullr."
"And if you still can't reach him?" Diops pressed on.
Forseti fell silent, weighing a stone in his hand before finally saying, "Then I'll redouble my efforts in mastering flame flight and attempt to fly back on my own."
"But that's impossible. Asgard is separated from Midgard by galaxies," Diops countered.
Forseti remained silent.
In truth, a direct flight from Earth to Asgard wasn't necessary; instead, one could travel to the moon, where a space channel led directly to Asgard. Yet, the journey from Earth to the moon posed its own challenges.
"Help! Help!"
Suddenly, a desperate cry for help echoed in the distance.
Forseti turned towards the sound. In the darkness, figures were seen running towards them, chased by a group armed with swords—a band of robbers, it seemed.
