Odin's Infinity Gauntlet
In addition to the nine towering gods, the sky above Asgard gradually filled with a fleet of enormous warships, unmistakably the armada of the Eternals.
On the largest battleship among them, two figures stood prominently. One was Cul, and the other appeared blurred, as if shrouded in mist.
This indistinct figure, Forseti had heard of before. He was Kronos, the renowned King of the Eternals.
Cul clenched his fists, shouting angrily, "Odin, my brother, today you will pay the price! You shameless usurper!"
Riding on the eight-legged steed Sleipnir, Odin appeared in the sky, holding the Spear of Eternity, facing Cul fearlessly.
"This is fate's decree, brother," Odin spoke slowly. "The Norns themselves have proclaimed me the rightful king of Asgard!"
As he spoke, the Spear of Eternity gleamed with a brilliant golden light, casting a dazzling glow. "Behold, I am more worthy of Asgard's power than you."
Cul trembled with rage. "You're nothing but a thief who stole half of Asgard's power using those three gems."
Odin sneered. "Now we both wield only half of Asgard's power. Yet, you dare challenge me fairly? I have no need for infinite gems, and you shall not call upon Kronos."
Cul fell silent.
Odin continued, "Clearly, you understand that the same half of Asgard's power, in my hands, can accomplish far more than yours—such is destiny!"
At this moment, Kronos interjected, "Odin, I wish not to involve myself in your conflict with the Aesir, but..."
"But," Odin cut him off, disdain evident in his voice. "I can guess the rest of your surrender speech, Kronos. You're always so hypocritical."
Turning to the assembly of gods, Odin remarked, "Ah, nine celestials s! How long has it been since such a grand gathering appeared in the universe? Perhaps not since Knull?"
"You're no knull, Odin," a celestial retorted coldly.
"But the outcome will be similar," Odin declared, raising his right hand. "The Infinity Gauntlet will sever your heads—it's sharper than Knull's 'Necrosword'!"
Though clad in Destroyer armor, Odin's right hand was not encased in silver. Instead, it sported a glove—a golden glove with six sockets, the Infinity Gauntlet.
Much larger than a standard gauntlet, it fit perfectly atop the Destroyer armor. Inlaid with three gems—purple, yellow, and green—it emitted a brilliant light and potent energy.
Odin's words seemed to incense one of the celestial, whose thunderous voice boomed across the sky. "Odin, you will regret this!"
Before he finished, the god swung a colossal sword capable of cleaving mountains, aimed straight at Odin.
Rather than retaliate immediately, Odin kicked Sleipnir into deep space, clearly reluctant to engage in battle too close to Asgard.
After all, this was a confrontation among twelve supreme beings of the universe. If unchecked, it could lay Asgard to ruin.
Despite his animosity towards Odin, Cul's ambition for Asgard's throne restrained him from desiring its destruction. He pursued Odin into space, followed closely by the other ten gods.
Thus, twelve top-tier powers vanished from sight, venturing deep into the universe.
Simultaneously, the Eternal's warships began opening fire, unleashing a force of Aesir warriors upon Asgard.
Physically similar to humans yet subtly distinct—the Eternals matched the Asgardians in strength. The battle between them ensued with neither side gaining a clear advantage.
"Attack!"
Forseti's cry resonated as he swung his war hammer, Judgment, spewing forth divine energy that felled an Eternal soldier on the spot.
As the two forces clashed, Rowe raised his hand, unleashing a blinding light.
Caught off guard, many Eternal soldiers faltered. Seizing the moment, Forseti's team surged forward, swiftly dispatching several foes.
"Blessing of the Holy Light!"
Forseti charged into the fray, his Blessing Hammer spinning rapidly, knocking enemies to the ground.
While the Blessing Hammer didn't kill outright, its blows incapacitated their targets, who fell prey to secondary strikes from Forseti's allies.
Forseti pursued another opponent, Antusur's hand at the ready.
The enemy wielded twin swords in a fierce exchange.
"Crack!"
Electricity surged from Forseti's war hammer, stunning his foe, allowing Rowe to strike decisively.
"Ah!" The enemy spat blood, collapsing and unable to rise again.
An exceptional Eternal soldier, wielding two massive knives, overcame Asgardian adversaries.
In a critical moment, Forseti employed a paralyzing Hand of recokoning, freezing his adversary in place.
Taking advantage, Asgardian soldiers swiftly blinded the immobilized foe with a sword, gaining the upper hand.
Forseti, now among the most formidable of first-tier divine powers, led a charge that quickly turned the tide. The Eternal found themselves in retreat, humiliated by the reversal.
Soon, a towering Eternal in heavy armor wielding a giant hammer joined the fray.
"Boom!"
Two Asgardian soldiers fell to his onslaught, demonstrating terrifying strength indicative of a second-tier divine power.
"Come and face me!" The colossal figure roared, his hammer aimed straight for Forseti.
Engaged with several enemies, Forseti swiftly maneuvered, erecting a shield of holy light.
"Boom!"
The giant's hammer shattered the shield, knocking Forseti off balance and sending him crashing to the ground.
The colossal hammer smashed the earth, creating a massive rift.
Forseti teetered on the brink of the chasm but swiftly recovered, darting towards his colossal opponent.
"Ah, impressive," the giant remarked.
Surveying his adversary, Rowe contemplated his next move.
The disparity between first and second-tier divine powers was insurmountable. Though formidable among the first-tier, confronting a second-tier head-on would be foolish.
With this realization, he swiftly took action.
"Mirror!"
Antusur's hand activated its illusionary effect, conjuring three mirror-image clones beside Forseti. Four figures in total, indistinguishable from one another.
"What!" The giant gaped in disbelief.
Smirking identically, all four Forseti turned and dashed off in different directions, matching each other's movements flawlessly.
Stunned momentarily, the giant chose a clone and pursued.
Observing his pursuer, Forseti halted abruptly, allowing his allies to engage the surrounding enemies unchecked.
