[Dark Creatures]

Soransen fell to the ground, lifeless, while the remaining Kree soldiers in his team met the same fate.

"Master!" an Inhuman rushed over in a panic.

"What's wrong?" Hive asked.

The Inhuman gasped and said, "The Kree have initiated self-destruction. The base is about to be destroyed!"

Hive's expression changed. "How long do we have?"

"Right now, we don't have any time left." The messenger looked at the other Inhumans and urgently commanded, "Quick, use our bodies to protect the master!"

"Swear to protect the master to the death!" The Inhumans stood in front of Hive, forming a human wall, shouting as if ready to sacrifice themselves.

Although Hive knew he had the power to control the Inhumans, seeing their unwavering loyalty still left him momentarily stunned.

Just as he hesitated, a blinding white light suddenly filled everyone's vision.

The Inhumans mobilized their abilities, trying their best to shield Hive.

"Boom—"

An earth-shattering explosion followed, accompanied by a white light as bright as the sun. Shockwaves and heat waves radiated from the center of the Kree base, devastating everything in their path.

The immense Kree base was flattened in an instant, a mushroom cloud rising into the sky, shaking the very mountains.

After a while, the aftermath of the explosion subsided, leaving only scorched earth, with no trace of the once formidable Kree base.

### Third Supreme Sanctuary

Agamotto and Forseti stood before the crowd, with Agamotto speaking seriously, "The Earth headquarters of the Kree is far more fortified than their sub-bases. Even with Soransen's help, this will be a tough battle."

"You must be mentally prepared, understand?"

"Understood," the mages replied, their faces tense, mirrored by the worried looks of Forseti and the other Inhumans.

Agamotto nodded and cast a spell to open a portal.

"I'll stress once more, this will be a tough battle," he reiterated, stepping through the portal, only to stop abruptly, stunned.

"This..." Forseti followed through the portal and stood equally stunned.

Before them was a vast crater.

The bottom of the crater showed signs of crystallization from high temperatures, surrounded by scorched earth. The air was thick with the lingering scent of destruction.

The nearby forest had almost vanished, save for a few remnants quietly smoldering.

Where was the Kree base?

Such a large base, simply gone.

"What happened?" many asked, looking around in confusion.

Agamotto frowned and conjured a golden-red magical glow, which formed a faint arrow pointing in a certain direction.

He led the way, followed by everyone, and soon they found a green-skinned humanoid on the ground.

"Soransen!"

The green man lying there was indeed Soransen.

For some reason, this area had been relatively well preserved.

A partially standing wall remained, with several relatively intact bodies lying nearby.

"Ugh..."

Soransen groaned, rising from the ground, shaking his head.

"You're still alive!" everyone exclaimed, helping him up. "What happened here?"

Soransen looked around, then at Forseti and the others, appearing disoriented. His eyes gradually focused as he said, "The Kree created a powerful Inhuman. In the end, the Kree blew up the base, and both sides perished."

"Then why is this area intact?" Little Cagliostro asked, looking around.

Soransen explained, "When the explosion happened, the powerful Inhuman was right in front of me. He tried to use his abilities to resist the explosion. Although he failed, I was lucky enough to survive."

"So the Kree are gone?"

Soransen nodded, "I think so. The explosion destroyed the entire base. The Kree should be buried in it."

Forseti was silent for a moment before asking, "Is the unusually powerful Inhuman you mentioned the Hive?"

"Yes," Soransen nodded.

"The Hive is dead too?" Forseti questioned.

"Of course," Soransen said, pointing to a shattered corpse nearby. "Look, this is the corpse of the Hive."

Forseti didn't respond immediately, just stared intently.

Forseti knew something of Hive's abilities. As the original belief of Hydra and the most powerful Inhuman, Hive could parasitize corpses, making him extremely hard to kill.

The total destruction of the base, with Soransen surviving, raised Forseti's suspicions. Could Soransen be dead, and the Hive now occupying his body?

But Hive was the major villain, the source of Hydra. If Soransen were Hive, the Sanctuary would have reacted.

However, the holy deed remained calm, with no holy light pointers.

Could it be as Soransen described?

"Wait."

Little Cagliostro seemed to have found something and ran off curiously.

"What is this?" He picked up a dark object from the ground.

"Don't touch it! Put it down!" Agamotto scolded, rushing over to knock the unknown object from Cagliostro's hand.

"It's not dangerous..." Cagliostro protested.

Agamotto snorted, picking up the black object and examining it. He frowned. "This is... a piece of flesh."

"Flesh?"

Agamotto slowly said, "It appears to be the flesh of some unknown creature, one that possessed magical energy—black magic."

"Soransen, do you know what this is?"

Soransen's eyes flickered slightly. "This, it seems to be from a dark creature, one of the Kree's research subjects."

The term "dark creatures" puzzled everyone.

Agamotto thought for a moment, then sealed the flesh in a wooden box, warning, "Cagliostro, do not touch this thing again, understand?"

Cagliostro nodded repeatedly, "Don't worry, teacher."

Everyone continued to inspect the surrounding destruction. Agamotto sighed, "In that case, let's head back."

They passed through the portal, returning to the Third Supreme Sanctuary. What was expected to be a day of fierce battles ended without any further surprises.

Night

Forseti sat in his room, holding a Terrigen crystal, infusing it with holy light.

Suddenly, his expression changed, sensing something. He put down the Terrigen crystal...
