Wormhole
Somewhere deep in the cosmos, a towering behemoth sat amidst the void.
Stars twinkled as Stardust appeared before him. "Master, it's time for you to feed."
"Indeed, I sense my hunger," the Planet Devourer nodded.
"However, a group of Asgardians has settled on the planet you targeted, attempting to thwart your meal," Stardust informed.
"What? Asgard again!" The Planet Devourer's voice rumbled with anger.
Stardust continued, "Yes, this marks the second time Asgard has disrupted the natural order. I suspect they're intentionally provoking the great Planet Devourer. It's unforgivable!"
Planet Devourer snorted. "Ignorant Asgardians."
Stardust pressed on, "Master, Asgard must face consequences for this."
After a moment's thought, the Planet Devourer decided, "Is Odin among them?"
"No, just ordinary soldiers. To you, they're insignificant," Stardust replied.
"In that case, let them experience the unstoppable power of the Planet Devourer." The colossal figure rose from the void.
New korbin Star.
After Stardust departed, Beta Ray Bill asked, "Who is this 'Planet Devourer Galactus,' and why does he consume planets? Is he akin to Surtur?"
"No," Hela shook her head. "I don't know much about the Planet Devourer, only that Father King mentioned him occasionally."
"As Stardust said, the Planet Eater embodies a fundamental law of the universe. His hunger and feeding are natural processes, regulating the cosmos," she explained.
Beta Ray Bill was stunned. "So, if he sets his sights on a planet, no one can stop him."
"Not necessarily. But the Planet Devourer's power and stature demand extreme caution. He cannot be contained or subdued, not even by my father. Bill, prepare to relocate the korbins," Hela urged.
Beta Ray Bill sighed. "Understood."
Moments later,
The sky suddenly darkened, an endless blanket of clouds shrouding New korbin Star without warning, wind howling ominously.
Simultaneously, an immense pressure swept over them, signaling the arrival of an unimaginable entity.
The world shifted.
"What's happening!" cries rang out.
Beta Ray Bill pointed to the sky, exclaiming, "Look!"
In the midst of boundless dark clouds, a majestic figure loomed. Blurred yet discernible, it merged with the clouds—a giant in purple-red heavy armor, almost resembling a colossal robot.
The deity stood as tall as a mountain, eclipsing the sky and sun.
"The Planet Devourer!" Forseti identified the figure concealed within the clouds.
"Didn't that shiny guy say he was consulting the Planet Devourer? What's happening?" Beta Ray Bill pondered aloud. "Is the Planet Devourer about to devour us directly?"
"I'm afraid so," someone murmured.
"Boom—"
Before anyone could react, the earth convulsed violently, as if struck by a catastrophic earthquake, fissures spreading everywhere.
The Thunder Boat had been destroyed by Stardust, leaving only the four capable of flight—Hela, Forseti, Beta Ray Bill, and their team leader—to evacuate swiftly with their teammates.
Forseti ignited his flame gloves, ferrying them away in a blazing arc, escaping the New korbin Star's atmosphere.
The planet's consumption wasn't instantaneous. Racing at full speed, they finally broke free into the starry expanse.
Standing amidst the cosmos, they watched helplessly as New korbin Star, enshrouded in ominous clouds, disintegrated before their eyes.
"This was meant to be the korbins' new home..." Beta Ray Bill clenched his fists, trembling.
Suddenly, the swirling dark clouds surged, a few tendrils breaking off, hurtling toward them—intent on capturing their fleeing forms.
Startled, they resumed their flight, but the dark cloud's speed matched theirs, rapidly closing the gap.
A few soldiers caught in its grasp vanished without a trace, swallowed by the Planet Devourer's manifestation.
In moments, only Hela, Forseti, Beta Ray Bill, and their flying leader remained, racing for their lives, as the others succumbed to the engulfing darkness.
"Damn—"
Another fell prey to the dark clouds, leaving only Hela, Forseti, and Beta Ray Bill.
Forseti's flame gloves blazed fiercely. Hela and Beta Ray Bill wielded their warhammers, racing through the cosmos, pursued relentlessly by the encroaching dark cloud.
But the cloud matched their pace, relentless in its pursuit.
"There's a wormhole ahead!" Beta Ray Bill exclaimed suddenly, pointing ahead. "We can escape through there!"
Hela and Forseti spotted the faint, circular aperture in the vast expanse of stars—a ripple in space, pitch-black and unknown.
But they had no time to ponder what lay beyond. Given their circumstances, any escape was a boon, for few entities were more fearsome than the Planet Devourer in the universe.
"Go!"
Without hesitation, the trio hurtled toward the wormhole at full throttle.
The dark cloud, sensing their escape, surged forward.
Forseti propelled himself with his flaming gloves, facing down the cloud. As it closed to within ten meters, he swiftly retrieved a bundle of arrows from his quiver.
These arrows, imbued with holy light, gleamed golden in his hands.
He hurled them with all his might, a flurry of arrows streaming through the starry expanse.
Holy Shock!
"Boom boom—"
The arrows exploded in radiant bursts, forming successive golden halos in the cosmos, momentarily thwarting the dark cloud's pursuit.
Seizing the opportunity, Forseti glanced back, seeing Hela and Beta Ray Bill already entering the wormhole.
He intensified his thrust, flames roaring from his hands, accelerating sharply, and darted into the wormhole.
Entering the wormhole, a tearing sensation enveloped him from all directions. Amidst the disorienting spatial turbulence, Forseti felt like a lump of dough, squeezed and tossed in a cosmic kneading...
