[Giant Spaceship]
"According to Sakaar's time, it was three years ago. I only entered the wormhole two steps ahead of you, yet it's been three years since," Hela sighed.
"I've been searching for any news of you these past two years but found nothing. Later, I came to the North Pole and established the Aesir Corps here."
Forseti nodded and asked, "I heard you mention exploration operations earlier?"
Hela responded, "Yes, the Legion has been building spaceships and traversing wormholes to find a way off Sakaar. But so far, none of the ships that left have returned."
Her face showed a hint of anxiety. "Sakaar's time has been moving very slowly lately. What has been a few months here might have been thousands of years outside... Forseti, I'm scared."
Forseti hugged her. "Your Highness, no matter what happens, I'll stay by your side, even if it means facing Ragnarok."
As Hela mentioned, the outside world may have spent thousands of years or even longer during the few months on Sakaar.
When they leave Sakaar and return to Asgard, they might see Thor, the God of Thunder. If they are lucky, they might even see Steve Rogers.
Odin had always reassured Hela that she would never have a stepmother, yet he ended up with a step-brother. Hela knew this would impact her greatly.
Even worse, Odin's favoritism toward his sons would immediately become apparent with Thor, overshadowing Hela.
Forseti realized he needed to prepare Hela for this possibility.
He didn't want things to unfold as they did in the original story, where Hela and Odin turned against each other, leading to her sealing for thousands of years and ultimately causing a tragic Ragnarok.
"Your Highness, let me ask you a question," Forseti said slowly. "If, after returning to Asgard, His Majesty Odin has a new family, a new wife and children, what would you do?"
Hela was silent for a moment before saying, "Father promised me."
"Promised?" Forseti disagreed, thinking Odin was not to be trusted.
Hela sighed. "I don't know."
Forseti thought for a moment and said, "If His Majesty Odin forms a new family, Your Highness, I hope the first thing you do when you hear the news is to come to me."
"Come to you? And then?" Hela was startled.
"Then we can do many things together, happy things," Forseti said.
Hela couldn't help but smile. "For example?"
"For example, forming our own family. Our parents have their lives, and so do we." Forseti gently caressed her cheek. "Come to me first, and don't confront His Majesty Odin, not even verbally."
Hela was silent for a moment, then finally nodded. "Okay."
Forseti smiled, pinching her cheek and leaning closer.
Remembering the earlier kiss, this time he took the initiative and kissed her.
Another playful exchange ensued.
A few days later...
At the North Pole of Sakaar, Hela stood in the snow. As she summoned her power, the surrounding ice and snow quickly melted and transformed into dark metal.
This was her power of creation at work, reshaping the surrounding matter into new structures.
The Aesir Corps was considered the most elite legion on the planet. One key reason was that many of their instruments were made from metal created by Hela, such as the spaceship they used for exploring escape routes.
At this moment, the metal structures piled in the snow resembled parts of a giant machine, varying in size and shape.
Hela took a break, looking up at the largest wormhole in the sky.
For months, the giant wormhole had been dumping trash relentlessly, indicating that Sakaar's time was moving slowly.
Today, almost no trash was being ejected, suggesting that Sakaar's time had sped up compared to the outside world. Spending a day on Sakaar might equate to only an hour outside, naturally resulting in less garbage.
"The exit is through this wormhole, 'Devil's Anus,'" Forseti said, coughing twice. "We should reach a position close to Asgard shortly after passing through it."
"However, Your Highness, don't you think we should send a spaceship to explore first? This is only information I've heard from the Grandmaster, and it might not be reliable," he added in a different tone.
This information wasn't from the Grandmaster but from Forseti's memories of his previous life. Thor, Banner, and others had escaped Sakaar through this wormhole.
However, this world differed from what Forseti knew from the movies, and his presence had changed some events. There was no guarantee this wormhole still led to Asgard.
Hela considered this. "Such an opportunity is rare. In these past few years, this is the first time time has flowed so quickly. If we wait for another chance, we don't know how long it will take."
"Just make the spaceship stronger, and there shouldn't be any accidents."
Forseti stepped forward, raising his hand to pour holy light into the metal parts in front of him. He couldn't sanctify the metal in such a short time, but adding some holy light provided a little extra assurance.
Hela continued manufacturing the metal parts, Forseti infused them with holy light, and the Aesir Corps assembled the parts, soon creating a massive, extremely strong spaceship.
Though large, the spaceship could only hold about twenty people. Most of its design focused on safety, preventing it from becoming lost in the giant wormhole.
In addition to Forseti, Hela, and Beta Ray Bill, more than a dozen members of the Aesir Corps would also take the spaceship, eager to leave Sakaar.
The group boarded the ship.
"Let's go," Hela commanded.
Beta Ray Bill, being a cyborg with greater physical endurance than other pilots, was in charge of piloting the spaceship. He wouldn't pass out during the journey through the wormhole.
He nodded and started the spaceship.
The spacecraft lifted off steadily and, with a slight turn, accelerated towards the giant wormhole in the sky.
As the ship continued to accelerate, it turned into a long rainbow, quickly approaching the target. The giant red wormhole, known as the "Devil's Anus," rapidly grew larger in their view.
Finally, the spaceship reached the wormhole, entered it, and disappeared into the darkness...
