Forging Blueprint: Slayer Sword

Forseti flew through the air, wielding Rivendell's sword, and struck at Mangog's ghostly form.

"Justice Blade!"

"Boom!"

The sword's blade crashed into Mangog's spirit, unleashing a dazzling holy light. With a wail, the faint spirits vanished under the sanctioning sword, leaving no trace.

Finally, it was over.

With Mangog's demise, the calamity that Asgard hadn't seen in ten millennia finally ended.

However, the Asgardian enemies summoned by Mangog from across the universe remained. Immediately after defeating Mangog, Forseti and Hela plunged back into battle to eliminate the remaining foes.

Fortunately, many of the enemy forces were demons. With Forseti's presence, they greatly bolstered Asgard's side and minimized casualties.

Late that night...

"Boom--"

In a corner near a crumbling wall, Forseti swung his sword. The two demons hiding there didn't even have time to scream; they were reduced to ashes by the holy light.

"That should be the last of them..." Forseti murmured, gazing at the demon corpses littering the ground.

After a day of non-stop fighting, Asgard had almost cleared out its remaining enemies.

Any leftovers were likely just a few scattered stragglers, now desperate to flee Asgard and unlikely to cause further trouble.

Among the invading forces, the trolls suffered the heaviest losses, nearly wiped out. The demons fared similarly, with their entire army annihilated, although Hell's demon population was vast, these losses barely made a dent.

The Frost Giants, led by Laufey, had used the Space Gem to escape Asgard with their clan early in the battle.

Laufey's retreat also allowed Ullr to teleport to an unknown location.

While there was no confirmation of his demise yet, given Ullr's ability to communicate over long distances, his silence strongly suggested otherwise—unless he had somehow found a remote sanctuary.

Forseti made his way to the wounded barracks, casting several Dawn Lights. Exhausted, he rested in a corner, consulting the Sanctuary.

In this battle alone, he had dispatched hundreds of demons, including a powerful Ice Demon. And in the end, he had vanquished Mangog—an achievement worth celebrating.

Unsurprisingly, the Sanctuary recognized Mangog's defeat as a significant victory, awarding Forseti the ability to choose any spell from the fourth tier.

With all other spells already exchanged, only one remained: **Wrath of Retribution**. Forseti had little choice but to select it.

According to the Sanctuary's instructions, mastering Wrath of Retribution would pave the way for unlocking the fifth-tier spells.

Forseti pondered what those unlocking conditions might entail...

He then reviewed the other rewards, including hundreds of bounties from the demon slayings.

The rewards mostly comprised spatial items, alongside several low-value blueprints and experience tomes.

There were also six shards of Divine Shield, each granting an additional six seconds of protection during perilous moments.

One notable enchantment, **Blade of Endless Light**, functioned similarly to Vengeance Feedback, restoring mana with each enemy slain.

A BOSS experience tome, **Boss of the Spirit Dean: Gading**, but given the Dean's status as a sixth-tier BOSS, Forseti's current strength made a victory impossible.

Lastly, a forging blueprint: **Slayer Sword**.

**Slayer Sword!**

Forseti was familiar with this weapon.

Truth be told, in the World of Warcraft, the sword wasn't particularly sought after—it boasted average attributes and an unremarkable design.

Yet, as its name implied, the sword held unparalleled power against demons.

Forseti had previously acquired one but opted not to sell it. He kept it for personal use, bringing it out only when confronting demons.

He studied the blueprint intently.

**Forging Blueprint: Slayer Sword**

**Standard Item Level: Level 5**

**Main Ingredients: Thorium, Orb of Justice, Blood of Heroes**

**Description: ... The Orb of Justice, formed by infusing a Snow Pearl with holy light, and the Blood of Heroes, the essence of noble souls.**

Reflecting on the required materials, Forseti deliberated.

Thorium posed no issue; substitutes were readily available in Asgard.

The Orb of Justice, derived from infusing a Snow Pearl with holy light—Forseti already possessed a Snow Pearl, a gift from the Snow Demon in Jotunheim. A brief infusion would transform it into the Orb of Justice.

As for the Blood of Heroes, the noble essence—Forseti knew of only one such figure: Beta Ray Bill, the equine Thor. Securing a vial of his blood would be crucial for forging the Slayer Sword.

Reflecting on the hero's blood invoked memories.

In the Plague Lands of Warcraft, players would occasionally encounter something called "Blood of Heroes" on the ground—a discovery leaving an indelible impression on many.

After reviewing the holy tome, Forseti leaned against the shattered wall.

"Lord Forseti, His Majesty Odin summons you," a soldier announced.

Forseti nodded, rising to follow the soldier, arriving moments later at a hall within the Golden Palace.

Despite widespread damage to Asgard's buildings, the Golden Palace remained intact—preserving a semblance of Asgard's former glory.

Walking through its corridors, amidst ornate décor, Forseti momentarily forgot the devastation outside.

"Your Majesty." Entering the hall, he bowed before the throne.

Mangog's assault on Odin had inflicted grievous wounds, proving resistant to healing despite Odin's resilience, bandages still stained with blood.

The sight painted Odin as frail, his pallor stark against the throne.

Upon Forseti's arrival, Odin nodded, gesturing for him to rise before lapsing into a somber silence.

After a while, dozens gathered within the hall—Hela, Forseti, Skala, Hermond, Karnilla, and others—all prestigious figures in Asgard.

However, notable absences marked the gathering, figures like Ullr and Balder who would never return.

Others, such as Vidar, the forest god, attended despite their injuries, Vidar having lost a leg in the recent battle, now disabled.

Overnight, Asgard had suffered severe losses, vacant seats serving as painful reminders. Closing his eyes, Odin sighed deeply.
