Illidan Stormrage
Does Illidan Stormrage appear automatically upon challenging the Lich King?
The vivid image of Old Fording's blood-stained refrigerator flashed in Forseti's mind.
However, he wasn't rushing to confront the Lich King. Despite being weaker than Dasuo, the Lich King was still a formidable ninth-level entity, far from being considered weak.
Understanding the energy assessment system of tome, Forseti knew the vast disparity between their levels meant he stood no chance against the Lich King, even with Fording's assistance.
On one hand, the holy task hinted that Fording lacked the mighty Ashbringer, likely reducing his strength to that of a mere camp leader.
On the other hand, Forseti doubted Fording would thaw in time to contribute to the battle.
After gaining the trust of Shandris Feathermoon and Magni Bronzebeard, he could still venture into the experiential realm to challenge the Lich King.
Initially, Forseti thought Reckoning, the sixth-tier spell, would be his first choice after activation.
However, creating the Ashbringer required Eternal Holy Light Crystals, which in turn necessitated mastery over the Holy Light, making it a more prudent initial choice.
During this period, Forseti continued battling the Thanos Legion across the cosmos, steadily severing Thanos' influence.
With this momentum, he could potentially penetrate the core of Thanos' dark quadrant within a few years and engage Thanos himself in a decisive battle.
Yet, intuition suggested things wouldn't be so straightforward. Forseti sensed a dark force vehemently opposing the changes he sought to bring about.
Aside from combat, Forseti repeatedly challenged Magni Bronzebeard and Shandris Feathermoon to expedite unlocking the sixth-tier spells.
To his surprise, he defeated King Bronzebeard first. Though he had initially regarded Feathermoon as weaker, it could also be attributed to the King's advanced age.
Shortly after defeating the elderly Dwarf King, Forseti overcame General Feathermoon.
"You've won, Paladin," Shandris Feathermoon rose from the ground, resembling a hero who didn't fade away after defeat, "You've earned my friendship, but there's another condition."
"What condition?" Forseti was taken aback.
Shandris Feathermoon replied, "Defeat the night elf traitor, Illidan Stormrage."
As her words echoed, a faint glow from the holy task appeared in Forseti's palm, revealing a page from the Book of Experience.
**Book of Experience: Illidan Stormrage**
**Type: Hero**
**Level: Level 8**
Illidan Stormrage!
Forseti was struck by Illidan's reputation—a sentiment shared by every champion in Azeroth.
Illidan Stormrage, the formidable demon hunter and wielder of the Warglaives of Azzinoth, remained one of Azeroth's most polarizing figures.
Some viewed him as a traitor to the night elves, while others hailed him as a hero who saved the world. Nevertheless, even after millennia of captivity, Illidan Stormrage's legacy on Azeroth remained indelible.
Like the three heroes Forseti had challenged before, Illidan was also an eighth-level entity.
With resolve, Forseti entered Illidan's experiential domain, prepared to face the famed demon hunter.
The scene unfolded in the Temple of Darkness. Amidst the shadowy expanse, a blind night elf with immense demon horns and ethereal wings wielded the twin blades of Azzinoth. Standing before Forseti, it was none other than Illidan Stormrage, the Betrayer.
Despite losing his sight upon becoming a demon hunter, Illidan's perceptiveness remained keen. He naturally sensed the challenger's arrival.
In a deep, resolute voice, Illidan spoke, "I endured 10,000 years of imprisonment and banishment from my homeland. Now, daring to invade my domain, you seek your demise!"
Facing Illidan, Forseti wielded the Sulfuron Warhammer and Demon Slayer Sword, Holy Light wings spread wide, poised for battle.
The clash was imminent!
Having experienced the might of these heroes many times over, Forseti didn't dare underestimate them. Employing his full strength, he fused the Sulfuron Warhammer into his arm, gripped the Demon Slayer Sword, and launched an assault on Illidan.
Illidan, empowered by demonic forces, sought to counter the sword and Holy Light with Azzinoth's Warblades.
Sanctions!
Illidan parried the Demon Slayer Sword with the Warblades, the impact resonating with a deafening "Boom!"
Even under the augmentation of Sulfuron's Warhammer, Illidan struggled against the overwhelming force, staggering back from the impact.
Unfurling his flesh wings, Illidan stabilized mid-air, redirecting his descent straight toward Forseti on the ground.
"Feel the hatred of ten thousand years!"
Before the words could finish, azure demonic flames erupted from Illidan's body, blazing ferociously and trailing him in flight towards Forseti.
"Boom!"
The impact gouged a massive crater in the temple floor, the blue flames engulfing the surroundings, ensnaring Forseti within their reach.
Yet the flames barely fazed Forseti.
Meeting the blazing azure inferno head-on, he wielded the Demon Slayer Sword relentlessly, while Sulfuron's Warhammer dealt blow after blow to Illidan.
In terms of strength, Illidan proved no match. Each clash ended with Illidan's Warblades nearly torn from his grasp.
Fortunately, the demon hunter's agility and evasive skills spared him from Forseti's strikes, preventing potential decapitation.
"Boom!"
Another forceful collision sent Illidan reeling, relinquishing his grip on the Azzinoth Warblades.
Seizing the opportunity, Forseti pursued, the Demon Slayer Sword aimed at Illidan's head, only to be dodged.
Flapping his wings, Illidan ascended into the air, grimacing as demonic energy surged, shrouding him in a titanic form that dwarfed his previous stature, exuding an aura of unparalleled potency as he peered down at Forseti.
"Your understanding of true power is lacking!" Illidan's demonic form roared, conjuring a bolt of eerie green lightning from his outstretched hand.
"Boom!" The faint green lightning struck Forseti.
In addition to the searing pain and numbness, Forseti felt his mana deplete rapidly, a clear indication of the lightning's absorption of the demon hunter's mana.
