[Infinite Witch]

"Boom!"

The Planet Devourer was struck and sent flying, immediately enraged: "Phoenix, I am the Universal God, the Planet Devourer! How dare you attack me?"

"Humph!" Jean Grey snorted coldly, showing no fear at all. She raised her hand, and another blast of phoenix flame surged towards the Planet Devourer.

Forseti watched with growing anticipation.

Fight! Fight!

He had no personal stake in the conflict between Phoenix and the Planet Devourer, but as the god of the universe, the Planet Devourer should be capable of subduing the Phoenix, right?

As expected, the events unfolded just as he anticipated. The furious Planet Devourer soon engaged the rebellious Phoenix in battle.

However, it was evident that the Planet Devourer was starving.

Compared to other abstract cosmic gods, the Planet Devourer was a concrete and even personalized entity. Originally a human survivor of the Big Bang, he had accidentally merged with the cosmic order.

Consequently, he was a unique cosmic deity whose distinctiveness lay in his wildly fluctuating strength.

When fully sated, the Planet Devourer was as formidable as other abstract gods personifying cosmic laws, aloof and disdainful towards all beings—ants, humans, Asgardians alike, although such a state seemed rare.

But in hunger, he lost his composure, and occasionally exhibited erratic behavior.

The current Planet Devourer was in a state of extreme hunger, unable to muster even 10% of his peak power.

Thus, he was merely toying with Phoenix and found himself on the defensive, panting and looking rather disheveled.

"You... You're disrupting the order of the universe!" the Planet Devourer accused, pointing at Jean Grey.

Wrapped in the Phoenix's will, Jean Grey paid no heed and continued her assault on the Planet Devourer, unleashing wave after wave of phoenix flames.

"Phoenix, by attacking the gods of the universe and disrupting order, you will be punished!" The Planet Devourer ceased fighting, finally delivering a stern ultimatum before turning away.

Forseti muttered to himself, "..."

Once the Planet Devourer departed, Jean Grey turned her gaze back to Forseti, fixating on him like a predator eyeing its prey. "You are mine!"

Before she could finish her sentence, she transformed into a fiery flame enveloped by the Phoenix's power, slicing through the cosmos straight towards Forseti!

Forseti swiftly dodged and attempted to counter with the Sulfuron Warhammer, but it was futile against Phoenix.

Moreover, he found himself in grave peril and had to repeatedly employ the Holy Shield technique to withstand Phoenix's onslaught.

Just as he began to falter, a beam of light descended from the Rainbow Bridge, and Hela materialized.

Forseti breathed a sigh of relief.

"Another one meddling!" Jean Grey sneered. Flames erupted from her hands, directed at Hela.

Sensing the Phoenix's fiery attack, Hela's expression shifted. She swiftly summoned masses of matter from a nearby planet, shaping them into metal to intercept the assault.

"Boom—"

The phoenix flames detonated, twisting and even melting the metal, but ultimately failing to breach Hela's defenses.

Forseti flew to Hela's side. "Try to contain her!"

"Understood!" Hela nodded, manipulating the metal into chains and sending them towards Jean Grey.

Forseti placed his hands on the chains, infusing them with radiant power. The golden chains shimmered with a faint, holy glow.

Empowered by Forseti's holy light, the chains danced through the air, wrapping around Jean Grey.

These chains of golden light grew stronger and stronger, resisting even the Phoenix's mighty power.

Eventually, a multitude of holy light chains encased her, layer upon layer.

Hela tightened the chains further, while Forseti continued channeling holy light until his mana ran dry.

Numerous chains of holy light bound Jean Grey into a golden cocoon, securing her tightly.

"Who is this woman?" Hela inquired.

Forseti found the question peculiar. "She's an Earthling with the power of the ancient divine Phoenix. I brought her here fearing she might wreak havoc on living beings."

"Phoenix..." Hela muttered, brows furrowing. "Legend says it's a harbinger of death and destruction."

Forseti nodded. "Indeed, this reckless Phoenix even attacked the Planet Devourer and killed a few humans."

Just as they conversed, flames suddenly flared within the gaps of the holy light chains, swiftly intensifying.

"No, she's breaking free!" Forseti's expression turned grim. Reacting swiftly, he extended his hand.

Holy Shock!

"Boom!" The holy light within the chains exploded, a brilliant golden burst akin to a rising sun.

Yet, the Phoenix's flames surged forth, completely shattering the chains, dispersing the holy light's remnants.

Jean Grey's body blazed with fire, Phoenix's form surrounding her, her countenance dark with anger. "Do you think you can contain me like this? This only makes me stronger!"

Forseti and Hela exchanged looks.

Without hesitation, Hela made a decision. "Heimdall, open the Rainbow Bridge fully and exile the Phoenix!"

"Your Highness, the Rainbow Bridge can only be wielded when Asgard faces dire peril," Heimdall interjected.

"I understand." Hela's tone hardened. "But Phoenix's power could bring catastrophe to the entire universe. My father sleeps, leaving us no choice but to use the Rainbow Bridge now."

Heimdall hesitated, "This..."

Suddenly, without warning, three chains materialized from the void, ensnaring them instantly.

Jean Grey recoiled, attempting to break free, but her fierce Phoenix flames proved ineffective against the unassuming chains.

Despite her efforts, the three chains held fast.

Three witches cloaked in black appeared out of thin air. Each held a chain, their voices resonating like old women's: "Phoenix, in the name of the Infinite, this is your punishment."

"Boom!"

The three chains erupted in blinding light, an indescribable force wrenching the Phoenix's power from Jean Grey's body, transforming it into a radiant Phoenix form.

"Wow—"

The Phoenix glared at the three witches, then turned and vanished into the vast universe with an angry cry, leaving no trace in its wake.

"The Infinite Witches."

Observing the three black-clad witches effortlessly strip Phoenix of its power, Hela's expression turned grave.
