[Rebirth of the Demon Hunter (Part 2)]

Foggy drove the car, carrying the four individuals to the cemetery.

Tombstones stood under the night sky, the wind howling bleakly, causing both Fergie and Karen to pale.

"Do you really possess the ability to resurrect the dead?" Foggy asked Forseti cautiously, but Forseti remained silent, walking solemnly through the cemetery.

Foggy didn't believe in resurrection techniques, yet Matt's trust in this mysterious man prompted him to drive decisively towards digging a grave, unsettling his heart.

If resurrection techniques exist, who could possibly master such power?

After a while, Matt halted in front of a tombstone. "Foggy, see if this is Frank's grave."

Foggy inspected the tombstone with a flashlight, confirming it read "Frank Castle". "Yes, this is the one."

Matt nodded. "Let's proceed. Dig up Frank's body... foggy, the shovel?"

"Well, it's in the car. I'll go fetch it," foggy turned to leave.

"No need," Forseti said, simultaneously gesturing with his fingers.

A brilliant holy light poured forth, swiftly coalescing into a half-material, half-ethereal giant palm with five fingers spread wide.

Seeing this enormous light palm, Fergie and Karen couldn't help but widen their eyes.

The light palm descended slowly, fingers stretching into the cemetery soil, gripping the coffin after a brief moment, then pulling it upwards.

"Crash—" Earth and stones scattered around as the coffin was hoisted from the grave by the light palm.

Opening the coffin lid revealed Punisher Frank castle lying inside. Despite meticulous treatment, the corpse bore evident deformation and damage.

"Was he killed by Kingpin?" Rowe asked casually.

"Undoubtedly," Matt replied. "Frank's family fell victim to Kingpin's gangsters, failed by the law, he sought personal justice, attempted to assassinate Kingpin at the King's Building, yet clearly met with failure."

Forseti nodded, placing his hand on Frank's corpse. The imprint of Illidan's soul appeared on his palm.

[Suitability: High]

Sanctuary's judgment confirmed a strong compatibility between Punisher and Illidan.

Seeing this result, Forseti acted without hesitation, releasing the soul imprint. A faint light emitted from his palm, instantly merging into Frank's body.

The faint light resembled Illidan's image.

The soul imprint applied, only Lay on Hands remained to resurrect Punisher.

Lay on Hands!

Rowe's fingertips radiated intensely...

Upon contact, the surroundings brightened immensely.

A surge of Lay on Hands energy poured into Frank's body, interacting with Illidan's soul imprint, triggering an extraordinary healing process, rapidly restoring Frank's flesh and soul.

Amidst the dazzling holy light, Frank's severely damaged corpse visibly regenerated.

"God..." Foggy and Karen watched in disbelief, their voices trembling.

In this moment, they felt as though they had stepped into myth.

Matt was equally moved.

Though unable to see the Holy Light, auditory feedback vividly conveyed Frank's bodily changes.

In Matt's mind, Frank transformed from a shriveled, contorted figure to one full-bodied and stretched, bones straightening, ruptured vessels reconnecting, muscles twitching, blood flowing...

"Pfft!" After several seconds, Frank's heart thumped loudly, then began to beat rhythmically.

"Resurrected, Frank Castle."

As Forseti spoke, Frank abruptly opened his eyes, swiftly rising from the coffin as though awakening from a nightmare.

"I... wasn't I dead?" He muttered, staring blankly at his body.

He vividly remembered plummeting from Fisk Building.

From the 70th floor, survival seemed implausible, yet he now found himself alive.

Matt and the others confirmed this reality, dispelling notions of heaven or hell—Frank didn't truly believe in either.

Or had his memory faltered? Perhaps the fall never occurred—just a hallucination?

Frank sensed his mind was muddled, as though something crucial eluded him.

"Frank, you're truly resurrected!" Matt exclaimed excitedly.

"Resurrected?" Frank hadn't considered this possibility.

"At my hand," Forseti asserted. "Yes, I resurrected you, Punisher."

Frank composed himself, surveying his surroundings. He noticed the cemetery, realizing he sat beside an open grave, his name etched on the tombstone.

Brought back from the dead... Unbelievable, yet seemingly true.

"You... are you a god?" Frank gazed at Rowe uncertainly. "Only gods return from death. Why resurrect me?"

"That's not your most pressing concern right now," Forseti replied. "Besides resurrection, I've endowed you with special abilities, perhaps some spiritual qualities. You've likely sensed the change... I know you need this power."

Frank did notice the change. He felt ten times stronger, muscles resembling steel.

Bullets might no longer harm him.

A potent energy dwelled within, awaiting his command.

Forseti continued, "Trust your instincts, Frank. You can now wield the powers of a demon hunter."

Frank stood, harnessing the energy within.

Though unfamiliar, this power responded as though honed over millennia.

Instantly, dark energy enveloped Frank, assuming Illidan's demonic form, wings of magic unfolding behind him, melding with the night's darkness, stirring winds within the cemetery!

Matt stepped back, astonished by Frank's immense power.

"So much power," Frank marveled at his newfound abilities, an existence he never envisioned as a mortal.

Forseti smiled. "Now, exact your vengeance, Punisher."
