Chapter: Weird Light

Deep space.

On a distant planet.

A sorceress in a red robe hurried through a bustling city where various alien races coexisted. She appeared anxious, as if evading someone.

Clutching the hem of her skirt, she cautiously turned into a concealed alley, momentarily letting her guard down.

Suddenly, a grim voice echoed: "Ah, at last I've found you, the divination sorceress Askela!"

Askela, the red-robed sorceress, froze in fear. As she stepped back, her gaze fixated on the black-clad man who had appeared before her.

The man wielded an oddly shaped long-handled blade—a weapon many recognized as the Peerless Blade!

The figure before her was none other than General corvus glaive, once a formidable commander under Thanos, retaining his imposing presence despite Thanos' downfall.

Askela attempted to retreat, but with General Deathblade behind her, escape was futile.

"Divine for me!" General Corvus glaive, demanded, stepping forward.

Askela shook her head frantically: "No, I cannot perform divinations casually. My fate is dire."

Unsurprised by her refusal, General Deathblade drew a scepter adorned with a gemstone emitting a mystical blue glow.

Pointing the scepter at Askela's chest, a flash ensued, and her resistance ceased abruptly.

Her eyes, once defiant, now glowed with an eerie blue light as she bowed her head obediently: "Master."

General Deathblade nodded approvingly. "Divine for me. I seek the one who murdered my wife!"

"Human bureaucracy," Loki remarked, surveying the crater in the distance.

A structure had arisen there, encasing Mjölnir and guarded by a formidable contingent—agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Forseti recognized.

"Is that our ultimate destination?" Donald inquired involuntarily.

Forseti nodded. "Indeed. Upon reaching the center of that crater, disabilities are healed and bodies reshaped."

The absorber Carl ventured carefully, "Master, why not directly heal his disability?"

"He's not like you," Loki replied tersely.

"How do we enter? It appears heavily guarded," Donald noted.

"I'll scout ahead. These defenses should prove futile. I'll lead you in shortly," Loki assured.

True to his prediction, the seemingly impregnable network posed no challenge to Loki. Without alerting anyone, he infiltrated the incomplete S.H.I.E.L.D. base.

Reaching the heart of the base, Loki beheld Mjölnir—an unassuming sight yet ensconced in rock, engraved with Asgardian runes of Odin's blessing.

With a sigh, Loki grasped Mjölnir with both hands and strained to lift it.

As expected, Mjölnir remained unmoved, evoking a flicker of sorrow in Loki's eyes.

"Father..."

In many ways, unmoved Mjölnir mirrored his father Odin.

Shaking off his reverie, Loki retraced his steps to rejoin the group. "I was correct. The defenses are ineffectual. Donald, follow me."

Contrary to their expectations, Loki did not venture far. The base buzzed like a beehive, soldiers converging urgently.

"Assembly! Rapid deployment!" faint voices echoed.

Loki tensed, suspecting discovery, yet realized the soldiers were not advancing toward them.

"What's happening?" Forseti queried.

"I'm unsure. Perhaps an intrusion?" Loki mused.

Forseti employed his Clairvoyance: "No intrusion. They seem to be evacuating."

Indeed, soldiers swiftly regrouped, boarding helicopters and vehicles, departing like firefighters answering a call.

"What's the cause?" baffled murmurs arose.

"Heimdall," Forseti addressed the Nine Realms' foremost sentinel. "Investigate."

"Understood," Heimdall affirmed.

Moments later, a somber Heimdall reported, "Earth faces invasion."

"Invasion!" Forseti grimaced.

"Yes," Heimdall continued grimly. "Several human cities, including New York, are under siege by alien forces. Worse yet... some powerful Earthlings appear allied with the invaders."

"Traitors among Earthlings? Who?" demanded Forseti.

Heimdall hesitated briefly. "Many are familiar to you—such as Hulk and Magneto, aiding the Chitauri in New York. I'll inspect further."

Hulk and Magneto, collaborating with aliens to assault Earth?

Impossible!

Forseti was incredulous, resolving, "Teleport me to New York at once!"

"Thor, retrieve the hammer!" Heimdall's parting command as the Rainbow Bridge whisked him away.

"Thor... does that mean me?" Donald puzzled, scanning his surroundings.

---

New York City.

Forseti materialized on the resplendent Rainbow Bridge, yet before the glow subsided, a deafening roar shattered the air.

"Roar!"

A colossal green figure hurtled towards Forseti, catching him off guard, hurtling him through a building.

Whoosh!

Recovering midair, Forseti summoned flames to steady himself, peering upwards.

"Roar!"

Hulk rampaged across the skyline, the Chitauri horde laying waste to New York. Leviathans soared, demolishing skyscrapers.

This mirrored scenes from "The Avengers" film, with one critical difference—Hulk now sided with the invaders, his eyes emitting an unnatural blue glow!
