Wrath of Thor

The unparalleled peerless blade pierced Loki's body once again without fail, directly shattering his heart and pinning him to the ground!

Loki's body trembled briefly, then fell still, his eyes fading into darkness.

"Hahaha!"

General Corvus Glaive laughed uproariously, his laughter ringing with the satisfaction of vengeance.

Donald watched Loki's death unfold, an inexplicable surge of grief and anger welling up within him unexpectedly.

His body quivered uncontrollably as tears streamed down his cheeks, and he dashed towards the SHIELD base without a second thought.

Ignoring Donald entirely, General Corvus Glaive dismissed him as a mere mortal who fled in fear.

Donald ran with all his might, tears blurring his vision.

Why?

He couldn't comprehend his emotions at this moment—they seemed irrational.

To him, Loki had been nothing more than a somewhat irritating acquaintance, so why did he feel this overwhelming surge of emotion?

Donald felt as if he were caught in a torrent of emotions, a flood of irrational anger and grief propelling him forward uncontrollably.

Soon, he arrived at the cratered S.H.I.E.L.D. base.

With most of the base's defenses withdrawn, no one initially stopped him until he reached the core area.

"Hey!"

"Stop! Unauthorized entry!" Two guards shouted.

Donald paid them no heed and continued to charge forward desperately. Then, in the distance, he spotted a warhammer!

A silver warhammer stood silently upon a rock, seemingly unremarkable yet radiating a call of power to him!

Seeing the young man's approach, the guards refrained from shooting and instead moved to intercept him.

"Kid, this is off-limits!"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" Donald screamed hoarsely as the guards restrained him, preventing him from reaching out towards the warhammer a few meters away.

His hand stretched out, fingers trembling as if attempting to grasp the warhammer.

"Are you insane?" one of the guards rebuked.

"I... I am... Thor!" Donald shouted, his eyes sparking with lightning.

As his voice echoed, Mjölnir, perched on the rock, responded by suddenly flying into his hands with a thunderous roar!

"Boom!"

Instantly, thunder cracked through the sky, shaking the surroundings. A brilliant bolt of lightning pierced the base's dome and struck Donald.

Within the electric blaze, Donald's frail form vanished, replaced by a robust blond man surrounded by thunderous energy!

Thor!

The deafening thunder caused General Corvus Glaive's expression to shift. He turned abruptly towards the base and his eyes widened in shock. "That's—"

In the sky, a robust figure wielding a warhammer, enveloped in thunder, descended like a meteor!

"Boom!"

Thunder rumbled ominously as the bright lightning struck General Corvus Glaive, sending him reeling.

"You killed my brother!" Thor bellowed, his voice echoing with fury. "Now you shall pay with your life!"

"Are... are you the boy from earlier?" General Corvus Glaive realized with dawning horror.

Instant regret washed over him.

Had he recognized Thor, the God of Thunder, he would have struck immediately to ensure Thor's death.

Thor raised Mjölnir high, his eyes burning with wrath as he focused on General Corvus Glaive.

"Boom!"

Lightning crackled and coalesced into a dragon-like bolt that descended from the heavens with a thunderous roar, momentarily eclipsing the sun.

Isolated and unable to flee, General Corvus Glaive could not escape the wrath of Thor. The lightning struck him once again, more powerful than before, scorching him black and leaving him lifeless.

"Unforgivable!" Thor's fury remained unrelenting as sparks of electricity continued to dance in his eyes. Another tempestuous thunderstorm brewed overhead.

"Boom!"

A blinding flash of lightning descended like a pure beam of light, completely engulfing General Corvus Glaive's form.

When the brilliance faded, the deep pit on the ground contained no trace of General Corvus Glaive—only his peerless blade and the Mind Scepter, abandoned as if he had never existed.

With that, Thor descended from the heavens, kneeling beside Loki's lifeless body.

"Loki... my brother..." He wept bitterly, cradling Loki's corpse, unable to find solace.

Forseti moved through the metallic storm towards Magneto's helmet, preparing to remove it.

However, he suddenly reconsidered.

Could repentance work?

He had recently mastered the atonement spell, though his attempt on Hulk with the Mind Stone had failed due to its unique influence over the mind.

Forseti swiftly made up his mind. Instead of removing the helmet, he pressed his palm against Magneto's forehead and channeled holy light.

Repent!

"End human tyranny, let change reign—" Magneto's roar and struggles abruptly ceased.

A moment of confusion flickered in his eyes, followed by a return to clarity.

"Crash..." Metal shards rained down from the sky, their cacophonous clatter fading after about ten seconds.

"What happened to me?" Magneto shook his head.

Forseti smiled. "It appears you've regained consciousness."

Magneto looked at him and spoke after a pause, "Thank you."

Forseti wasn't sure if he had lifted a curse or brainwashed him. Regardless, Eric was free from the Mind Stone's control.

As they descended, Professor X approached with a smile. "I seem to have become redundant."

"I apologize, Charles," Magneto said guiltily, aware of the trouble he had caused.

"Not your fault," Professor X replied with a forced smile.

Indeed, blame couldn't be placed on Magneto. But would humans listen to their explanations?

The future looked grim for mutants; tensions would surely escalate, undoing the hard-won harmony they had achieved.

Forseti was about to speak when Heimdall's grave voice resounded in his ears. "Forseti, return to Asgard."

"What's wrong?" Forseti was taken aback by Heimdall's somber tone.

"His Royal Highness Loki... he's dead," Heimdall sighed.
