[Cursed Warrior]

Most of the dark elves were fully armored to defend against external threats, but the holy light emanating from the Holy Prism immediately permeated their armor.

"Holy Shock!"

Following the Holy Shock, the integrated holy light energy within their armor exploded in rapid succession, blooming golden apertures in the air.

"Boom boom-"

Facing the eruption of holy light, the dark elves appeared vulnerable. Even their spacecraft collapsed and disintegrated after being bombarded by multiple holy lights.

The dark elves causing havoc nearby were swept away instantly, their broken bodies and spaceship wreckage scattered everywhere.

The Holy Prism continued its assault, intertwining with dazzling holy light, swiftly harvesting the lives of the dark elves like a meat grinder.

Confronted with this situation, the dark elves were unwilling to remain passive. Several large airships flew in promptly.

After circling momentarily, they launched over a dozen black hole bombs from all directions, all aimed at Forseti.

Forseti immediately activated the Holy Shield technique, rune-shaped holy light enveloping his entire body. In the next moment, over a dozen black hole bombs whizzed around him, exploding almost simultaneously.

"Boom!!"

Darkness surged forth from the bombs, instantaneously tearing apart everything in its vicinity. Walls, soil, air, and light were all devoured by this darkness.

Matter within a dozens-meter radius seemed erased from existence.

However, even with such formidable power, it failed to breach the absolute defense of the Divine Shield.

As the darkness dissipated, Forseti, bathed in the radiance of the Holy Shield, remained unscathed. The luminous rune holy light didn't even ripple.

"What?!"

The dark elves witnessing this scene were incredulous, unable to believe their eyes.

Over a dozen black hole bombs detonated simultaneously, yet they couldn't even cause a slight disturbance!

Even if Hela, now Asgard's queen, could harness most of Asgard's power, she would struggle against black hole forces.

Such a defense had reached an unimaginable level, greatly unsettling the dark elves.

In fact, even Forseti himself was somewhat surprised by what he witnessed.

Confident that the Holy Shield would hold, he had entertained a nagging doubt: would a dozen black hole bombs cause the Holy Shield to waver?

After all, Hela had only used the Rainbow Bridge's power to counteract the corrosive effects of the black hole's force.

Yet, the Holy Shield stood as steady as an ancient oak, showing no sign of wavering.

It seemed the Holy Shield's power had indeed attained the realm of "infinity."

In other words, no matter how potent the force, so long as it was finite, it could be disregarded in the face of the Holy Shield. Only infinite force could affect it.

To counter infinity with infinity.

Of course, there existed different levels of infinity. Forseti wondered what type of infinity could pierce the Holy Shield.

An infinite witch? Cosmic deities? A ravenous planet-devourer? Or perhaps a complete set of infinity gems...

These thoughts raced through Forseti's mind as he continued to battle, deploying the Holy Prism and occasionally activating the Holy Shield to resist the black hole bombs, rampaging through enemy ranks as if traversing no-man's-land.

The Holy Light's lethality against the dark elves was astonishing; most couldn't withstand a single blow.

Their most formidable weapon, the Black Hole Bomb, proved ineffectual against the Holy Shield, allowing Forseti to single-handedly decimate the entire dark elf army!

Dark elf casualties mounted, their offensive faltering. Asgard seized the opportunity to launch a counterattack, stabilizing the situation.

"Where is Malekith?" Forseti demanded coldly, seizing a dark elf officer by the collar.

Despite countless dark elf warships and soldiers being defeated, Forseti had yet to spot Malekith, the elf leader.

The officer gritted his teeth and remained silent, though his eyes inadvertently betrayed his thoughts.

Following his gaze, Forseti spotted the Golden Palace.

Could Malekith have infiltrated the Golden Palace so swiftly?

Hurriedly flying towards the Golden Palace, Forseti opened his Eyes of Reckoning, swiftly scanning for his target but found nothing initially.

Dark elves harbored minimal sin.

Not out of benevolence but due to their slumbering in the cosmos' depths for five millennia, time had washed away their sins long ago.

Despite their recent aggression, a failed one at that, they bore little guilt.

Thus, the Eyes of Reckoning could discern no distinction between dark elves and ordinary Asgardians.

Thankfully, the Eyes could still detect energy, providing some clues: an eighth-level target appeared in Forseti's field of vision.

At this moment, this eighth-level entity was advancing somewhere within the Golden Palace.

Forseti swiftly flew there, his four wings carrying him to his destination. In a Golden Palace corridor, he spotted a burly warrior clad in dark red armor and a mask.

The Cursed Warrior!

Such attire and strength were indicative of dark elves like the Cursed Warrior.

Forseti held a profound memory of the Cursed Warrior. In the original story, Thor had struggled to face this formidable adversary and lost, resulting in the tragic demise of Frigga.

Could history repeat itself? At that moment, the Cursed Warrior stood across from Frigga in the corridor, yet Forseti arrived in time.

"Your opponent is me," Forseti declared, brandishing the Sulfuron Warhammer at the Cursed Warrior.

Witnessing Forseti's arrival, Frigga sighed in relief.

Sensing the threat posed by Forseti, the Cursed Warrior pivoted to face him, hands spread wide, acknowledging a formidable foe.

A battle was about to ensue.

Unexpectedly, the temperature around plummeted abruptly as a layer of frost began spreading across the walls and floor.

Forseti glanced aside and saw Loki approaching.

Loki, inheriting the Lich King's power, advanced with every step, frost trailing in his wake—an apparent pompous show of force, as this frost was under his control and wouldn't spread uncontrollably.

Loki sported a cold sword and heavy plate armor, having abandoned his identity as a mage to fully embrace the Lich King's persona.

"Leave this to me," Loki instructed Forseti, casting a protective gaze towards his mother.

Concern etched on her face, Frigga interjected worriedly, "Loki, he's the Cursed Warrior of the dark elves, incredibly dangerous."

"I'm not the Loki you once knew," Loki declared calmly, raising his longsword and pointing it at the Cursed Warrior. "Face the wrath of the Lich King!"

.....

Pale-skinned Malekith hurried through the Golden Palace, keenly aware that time was running out. He needed to acquire the power of the ether particles as swiftly as possible.

Luckily, dark elves possessed a natural affinity for ether particles, and Malekith could sense their presence almost instinctively.

To Malekith, ether particles were akin to the sun to other beings—conspicuous and irresistible. He headed straight for their source.

Arriving swiftly at his destination, Malekith found Jane Foster engrossed in a book within a tranquil room.

"Who are you?" Jane Foster asked, looking puzzled at Malekith.

"It seems the aether particles reside within you," Malekith's voice was low. "It's remarkable that your body can contain them... but now, they are mine!"

With that declaration, he advanced towards Jane Foster.

Suddenly, the ground beneath them surged with golden light. Before Malekith could react, a sharp sword formed of holy light thrust towards him, nearly severing his right leg.

"Ah!" Malekith cried out, dropping to his knees in pain. He struggled to turn around and saw a tall blond youth standing behind him.

"Are you Malekith, monarch of the dark elves?" Forseti scrutinized him.

It must be said, Malekith's strength fell far below Forseti's expectations—it was pitiful.

Using the Eye of Reckoning, Forseti assessed Malekith's energy presence. He concluded that Malekith had only four layers of energy ripples—a far cry from the three Asgardian warriors.

In the original tale, Thor struck Malekith with lightning, but the dark elf survived—it wasn't an easy feat...

Forseti believed that if he had been more serious with the Sword of Justice just now, he could have easily slain the dark elf king.

Malekith clenched his teeth, raising a hand to hurl a black hole bomb while reaching for Jane Foster with the other. Ether particles began to slowly emanate from her body.

Forseti swiftly employed the Divine Shield technique to block the black hole bomb. He hesitated briefly but refrained from intervening further against Malekith.

After all, only Malekith could extract the ether particles from Jane Foster's body at that moment.

Malekith was so feeble that even if he managed to acquire the ether particles, Forseti was certain he could subdue him.
