Chapter: Hell Comes

With the arrival of Black Vision Carrigan, an elderly man in a black suit emerged from the ruins, leaning on a cane. His meticulous attire gave him the appearance of a medieval gentleman.

"Dear Lord Mephisto," Carrigan said respectfully.

The old man nodded slightly; he was Mephisto's earthly avatar.

For a long time, due to the world's restrictions, he had little power on Earth. However, soon he would manifest a new clone, a formidable one. Ghost Rider, Blackheart, and all other beings he despised on Earth would suffer as a consequence.

"You've done well, Carrigan. There will be a place for you in the new Hell," Mephisto said, smiling faintly at Danny.

"My pleasure."

Mephisto said nothing more, leading Danny into the ruins, toward the ancient altar at the center.

Demon worshipers from around the world had gathered here, all clad in black robes, their faces filled with fanaticism.

"Great Satan, let the foolish humans witness your power!"

"For the new Hell!"

Watching these fervent believers, Mephisto curled his lips into a slight smile. He signaled for Danny to kneel amidst the surrounding worshipers.

"Let us begin."

The black-robed believers started chanting, speaking in an ancient, unknown language that echoed like swirling magic, reverberating through the night sky above the ruins.

As the incantation continued, Danny began to lose consciousness, darkness creeping over his vision. Unwittingly, he joined the chant, murmuring the words with unfocused dark eyes.

Mephisto faced Danny, his smile widening as dark energy surged within him, his form twisting into that of a sinister demonic figure.

At the stroke of midnight, the chants of the demon worshipers reached a crescendo. Darkness enveloped both Mephisto and the now completely unconscious Danny.

"Now is the time!" A mass of pitch-black energy poured forth from the elderly man's body, merging instantly with Danny's form.

As the darkness receded, the old man's body collapsed to the ground, decaying rapidly like a mummy unearthed after centuries.

Danny lifted his head and let out a roar. His appearance underwent a rapid transformation: his face contorted into a hideous visage, his skin turned scarlet, emitting a powerful aura of hellish energy.

"Satan! Satan!" The believers cried out even more fervently.

"Hahaha!" Danny's voice echoed, now mirroring Mephisto's scarlet demonic countenance. "I have succeeded!"

"Great Satan, let us gaze upon the skies of Hell!" Some believers urged impatiently.

"Destroy this world of foolish humans; the Earth belongs to you, my master!"

"We will lead the legions of Hell!"

Mephisto's mouth twitched. "Indeed, but I still need your aid, faithful followers."

With those words, he spread his arms, scarlet energy sweeping out to engulf all the demon worshipers present in an instant.

These unfortunate souls didn't even have time to scream. They were consumed and torn apart by the scarlet mist, their blood pooling and surging around the altar, forming rivers of crimson.

Under Mephisto's guidance, the surrounding rivers of blood formed a vast magic circle, emitting a dazzling dark red light that bathed everything nearby in its crimson glow!

At that moment, a golden-red circle suddenly materialized nearby.

The aperture opened into a portal, and from it emerged a bald woman in robes, her expression grave.

"Ah, Supreme Mage," Mephisto acknowledged, recognizing the Ancient One.

"Mephisto, you should not meddle with Earth," Ancient One. said coldly.

Mephisto smiled. "You cannot stop me. This clone possesses 30% of my true power. The world's defenses cannot prevent my summons; soon, Hell's skies will shine upon this world!"

"Boom!"

A sudden roar erupted. It was the Hellfire Knight riding a flaming locomotive, chains ablaze, hurtling directly towards Mephisto.

However, Mephisto remained unfazed. He effortlessly seized the chain, yanking Johnny off the motorcycle and pulling him before him. "It is too late, Knight."

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" Johnny struggled, attempting to wield the Eye of Judgment. Suddenly, as if struck by lightning, he screamed, engulfed in hellfire, and collapsed to his knees.

Mephisto spoke lightly, "Remember, I am your master. Previously, I did not truly control your power, but now that has changed."

As he spoke, he noticed something, leaning over to retrieve a scroll from Johnny's possession, smiling. "For this, I may consider forgiveness or perhaps offer you a chance..."

Ancient One swiftly intervened, magic chains shooting forth, entangling the scroll and wresting it from Mephisto's grasp.

"You!" Mephisto couldn't suppress his anger.

Ancient One glanced at the scroll she now held. "Is this the contract of San Vangaza? If you had obtained this, I might truly have had no choice."

Mephisto's expression darkened. "Supreme Mage, you will pay for this!"

The blood-formed circle on the ground glowed intensely, an indescribable darkness engulfing the earth, spreading from the ruins at its center, as Hell's malevolent presence poured into the world.

"Come forth, my servants! Let this realm become part of Hell!" Mephisto commanded, and demons began emerging one after another from the tainted ground.

Ancient One smiled knowingly. "Mephisto, you underestimate Earth."

With a wave of her hand, a massive portal opened behind her.

The portal expanded rapidly, reaching tens of meters in height, its golden-red light illuminating the night sky.

"This is..." Mephisto gazed at the vista beyond the portal.

On the other side lay an icy valley scene, with structures and humans present, yet something else dominated the landscape.

Unmistakable and awe-inspiring was a towering giant tree, emanating thunderous and golden brilliance, standing as imposing as a mountain amidst the snowy valley.
