The royal family was in an uproar over the scandal, with the King and Queen summoning their daughter, Sofia, to the palace for an emergency meeting.

"Sofia, what were you thinking?" the Queen asked, her voice stern but laced with concern. "You know the scrutiny we are under, and yet you go and get involved with a football player in such a public way?"

Sofia sighed, knowing she had let her family down. "Mother, Father, I know I made a mistake. But I couldn't help how I felt. Varghese is charming and kind, and we had a connection. I didn't think it would lead to all this."

The King frowned. "A connection? Sofia, you are a member of the royal family. You have a duty to this country and to our people. You can't just indulge in reckless behavior like some kind of celebrity."

Sofia looked down, tears welling up in her eyes. "I know, Father. I'm sorry. It was just one night, and it meant nothing. I promise it won't happen again."

The Queen placed a gentle hand on Sofia's shoulder. "We love you, dear, but you must learn to think of the consequences of your actions. You are a princess, and you must conduct yourself with grace and dignity at all times."

Sofia nodded, feeling a mix of shame and regret. She knew she had let her family down, but she also knew that she couldn't help how she felt. She vowed to be more careful in the future, but a part of her would always remember the night she shared with Varghese, the football star who had captured her heart.
