Driven By Revenge

"I'm sorry, Jack, but I have met someone else; I can't be with you." Mandy turned down Jack's proposal.

"How can you meet someone else while carrying my child? he shouted at her in disbelief.

"The fact that I'm carrying your child means nothing to me; you paid me to carry your child. Have you forgotten that? She stated.

"We had a night of passion together, Mandy, and that's how my son—I mean, our son—was conceived; we didn't go through with the surrogacy as planned."

"Oh, now I get it..." He continued, "Have you really met someone else, or are you still mad at me that I got you arrested for murdering my father? The evidence incriminated you; what was I supposed to do? Huh, tell me?"





Out of anger and pain, Mandy left, rushed quickly to her bedroom, and slammed the door shut, her heart racing in her chest, ready to explode.





' How could this man do this to me? How can he remind me of such a painful event that almost ruined my entire life, not to mention my mother's betrayal? A chapter in my life that I vowed never to revisit again.' she thought as tears streamed down her face.
