Part IV

Once inside the enormous industrial warehouse, I unnecessarily imagined myself as an ant before the power of the giant steel machines.

But I must concentrate on what concerns me...

Approximately, including myself, 10 members are present to transport a total of 2,880 kilos of heroin to the port behind this warehouse of about 20,000 square meters.

Everyone is expectant and silent, just like Guffy said.

Some sitting on the ground with a lost look; others looking at the shed in any direction and those standing, arms crossed.

The only thing in common between us is the pairs of gloves that we each brought with us. Because the clothing varies from the dirtiest and most torn, to the everyday.

Some were energetic and unusually restless, perhaps drugged by surely introduction into the nostril; due to the constant touching of the nose.

Likewise, those with strange facial relaxation in relation to their expressions, very likely due to the effect of methamphetamine.

Maybe I'm the only sane civilian in this place...

The suspenseful silence lasted twenty minutes where only the breathing and yawning of the members was the symphony orchestra.

There is more noise at a funeral because of people's cries.

The dream increased relentlessly, but it disappeared the moment I heard the sound of trucks moving here.

Will it be them?

Everyone else was dusting off their knees and butts as they got up from the ground.

After hearing external murmurs, the doors opened giving way to the six trucks.

In a hurry we split evenly between the first two cars.

One of the drivers opened the back door and once inside began to hand each person a sack.

Since I am fifth in line, I received 120 kilos of heroin on my right shoulder.

At first there are no problems, since I don't feel the weight as an impediment.

But taking into account the considerable round trip constantly, it can cause muscle fatigue. And the strength will gradually decrease as will the rest periods.

But a lot also depends on the individual's resistance and ability.

The other drivers hurriedly approached the two cars inside to also help.

It seems that the faster, the better.

And the pay should be the same...

When I left the back of the shed, I visualized the sea of the port at a certain distance and six yachts in waiting order with their lights off.

Barely visible among so much darkness.

The image was not clear, but the members in front of me seemed to hand over their sacks and return immediately.

At least the way back can serve as a rest.

Minutes later I handed my sack to the man on the yacht, and he placed it in a kind of secret compartment between the left and right side seats; and as well as reinforced bottom and backrests.

It looked like a small marine pack donkey.

...: What are you looking at brother?

...: Do you have any problem?.

...?

How careless I am, I got carried away.

If the yacht guy misunderstands it, it could be a real issue.

Mikael: S-excuse me.

Showing feigned shyness, I hurried on my way.

The guy didn't seem to seriously notice it and continued doing his thing.

Raising suspicions unnecessarily is a reckless act; until the preparations are consumed at the moment to happen.

Although I have another two weeks to think about different preparations...

I will continue observing the foggy panorama.
