Part II
Right now it's lunch break after the introductory study section for the first semester.
Now I had a big dilemma and time was increasing.
You should think about where to eat.
We only have a break from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
Very few students are eating and chatting inside the classroom.
And in the dining room there are sure to be many people as well as the backyard...
Maybe I should do it here in the classroom, since the vast majority also seem to have gone to the school cafeteria from what I heard previously from others.
This institute is one of the central ones in Mildram.
It is located in the north and is one of the most famous nationally.
But if you compare it with the academic level of Gran Lombardes, the latter is two steps ahead as a technological power.
I see my future better outside these decadent places...
After taking out my plastic lunch container, it wasn't difficult to also notice a small group of girls looking in my direction.
They seemed to have other types of intentions from their mischievous giggles and suggestive looks.
It could also be my imagination, but I'm not being paranoid; but more objective and realistic as being aware of human nature.
It's not that I consider myself attractive, but everyone has a certain level of charm.
I guess I'll ignore them for now.
Guffy: Hey my brother!
He says as he enters the living room with a box of food in his right hand.
He must have bought it because of its almost visible label.
Guffy: Do you plan to eat here alone?
Mikael: Well, that's what I had in mind.
Guffy: Let's eat together.
Mikael: Okay, if you want we can eat here and...
Guffy: Not my brother!
He interrupts quickly before finishing speaking.
Guffy: Come with me to eat somewhere else.
What would be the difference?
Could he be one of those who like to eat in crowds?
Maybe they are hasty conclusions without foundation.
Mikael: Okay, let's go to the place you want.
When we left the classroom we headed to the school cafeteria.
At first glance, there is no doubt about the popular and pleasant atmosphere; and it was even more so because of the cool temperature inside.
There are students of different years who were grouped into linear sectors, as well as territories of seniors and minors.
It was certainly spacious and almost comparable to any high school dining room.
For a moment I thought he would look for a small table available for two but Guffy went straight to other intentions...
...: Hey we're here!
A boy from our class says as he raises his hand towards us.
There were three students occupying a table for five people and with two seats apparently reserved...
Guffy: Among so many people it is difficult to distinguish them.
...: This was the place we were able to get, almost everything is occupied.
...: And you're the new kid in class, my name is Tennys. The ones with me are Junie and Kathy: one is intellectual when it comes to studies and the other is tough as a man.
Kathy: And Tennys is a masochist, because he likes to punch me in the face.
Junie: Before we fight we should eat and not scare the new guy.
Tennys: R-right.
Everyone opened their containers and wooden boxes with ready-made or instant food.
The varieties of colors in different dishes certainly gave you the need to try to force your sense of smell to feel each condiment.
It was a feast of bittersweet appearances.
After receiving our drinks and milkshakes from the waiter, Tennys looks at me curiously.
Tennys: By the way, Mikael, Guffy told us that they are childhood friends. We thought that was great.
It seems that these students also call Guffy by his nickname even though his real name is Goether.
I guess no introductions are needed on my part.
And in addition, due to its lack of good taste, Tennys for the introduction when breaking the silence is forced.
But it is understandable that he wants to do something.
Mikael: Yes, he is an old friend.
Kathy: I don't dislike you, but it's true that you're a bit introverted. The complete opposite of Tennys' extrovert.
Mikael: Well, sometimes I tend to talk a lot.
Tennys: Don't pay too much attention to Kathy.
Tennys: By the way, why is your accent when you speak like that of Great Lombardes?
Is that so?
Hadn't given it much thought despite the change in accents when coming to Velenques.
They certainly speak different accents and each one has remarkable pronunciation.
Kathy: That's right, and on top of that your looks.
Aspect?
I have the same uniform as all the students here.
Junie: Don't tell me what, you like the new guy now.
Kathy: To be honest, I don't like his type. But many girls do seem to be attracted to Mikael.
Mikael: Attract?
Guffy: Didn't you notice it either, my brother?
Tennys: Being popular is difficult, right?
Popular?
That would explain the looks I get from every direction.
It seems to be problematic for someone unsocial like me.
Mikael: Remember that I am new, and I still don't know about this environment.
Tennys: That's right, you don't have to put too much pressure on him.
Tennys: That's why we will be your guides.
The four nodded twice in unison.
Again decisions that are made by outsiders...
It doesn't really bother me though.
Now we are classmates.
Tennys: Now that I remember, when the first morning shift ended, I received a request from our colleague Luck: he said that he trusted me to help in the selection of 15 people invited under his right to reserve this Wednesday a VIP table at the famous 'Mansion Grenecy' of the floating district.
