Part I
Mikael: Did they delay the work a week?
It is certainly strange, but unforeseen events always have to happen.
I'm currently walking with Guffy to school, and it's no more than a few blocks away.
Guffy: That's right my brother, they told me that a while ago.
It seems to be a last minute decision, since they could have said it yesterday before leaving the shed; but making it known today is unusual for them.
Mikael: Well, what's done is done.
Guffy: I thought you might like to know about it.
Mikael: I hadn't thought about it that way, but oh well.
Mikael: Did something happen?
Guffy: I heard there will be a routine investigation operation on the transports next week. Maybe that's the reason.
Mikael: It makes sense to delay the transfer to the fourth week, to do it in the third, and right in the middle of an investigation, it is true that it can be harmful.
Guffy: This client seems to be more problematic than expected, but we'll just have to wait to finish the job and continue with our routines.
Guffy: Forgive me for involving you, my brother.
Mikael: Don't worry about that. Besides, he needed money.
Without any exact topic of conversation and passing time, we arrived at school and from there to the classroom.
Minutes later the starting bell rang at 08:30AM and Professor Kaley entered punctually.
The usual scene since I started classes.
Kaley: Good morning all students.
Kaley: As for the weekend, in addition to the task that will be assigned to you, an excursion is also scheduled for tomorrow and the couples who will be your companions for the day must be formed today.
An excursion for Saturday?
It is not a problem but it is unusual.
Kaley: The schedule for tomorrow will be given to you along with these handouts and I will explain a more detailed version of the content of the exam below.
Kaley proceeds to hand out a stack of handouts to each row for the students to hand to those behind them.
Upon receiving mine and then listening to the explanation, the exam was certainly interesting for those familiar with it.
The 'Historical Theory' exam, as the name indicates, will aim to investigate a historical event with detailed reports from the past and add a structure of additional personal theories, on the topic selected by the couple in question.
About the Exam:
The pair of students must participate in the theoretical structure and share different pieces of the information to be consulted. The exam takes four days and must be submitted next Wednesday. The cooperation between critical theories and research will be evaluated. The cohesion of the original historical report and the theoretical structure will be evaluated. The report must have a minimum number of or greater than (50 pages). The distribution between the original story and the analytical theoretical flow depends on and will be the choice of both students. The student writer must strictly take into account: design, stable order to be dealt with, grammatical rules, spelling, intelligibility, general writing and among others. It is up to the student to take the exam in writing or in printed digital format. Whether it is the student writer or the researcher, the debate on the topic is fundamental and coherence about the line of historical succession must be shared between both students.
Additional Data:
You don't just have to have global knowledge to increase points; since many additional contributions in addition to the cash also count for the theoretical side and on the bearer's ability to benefit both students.
It seems that each contribution from both parties will be taken into account as a score valid.
50 points each student for a total of 100 original points.
This exam emphasizes more than anything the cooperation and cohesion of opinions about it.
What could make this exam somewhat problematic is that the individual who will be your partner is a contributor, and that the communication capacity to contribute to a good work environment is stable; because there will always be clashes of perspectives on how to do it better than the adversary.
And also, the last point marked 'Additional Data' is also interesting.
Ibrahim: Professor Kaley, I think I understood a little about the exam, but not the last point written in the booklet as 'Additional Fact'.
The first to raise his hand, a little confused, was a classmate.
From the little I've seen about him, he doesn't understand very well about explanations that are hardly detailed.
Since his former colleagues know him perfectly well, they don't seem fazed or even pay him any attention.
Or a little more as if they accepted their low ability as a student.
Kaley: It means that, it is very good to prepare a whole report or perform tasks by doing extensive research on the topic, but that there are also things that should not be ignored and should be studied even if it is outside the topic; because they are considered important.
Kaley: That is why the historical theory exam is characterized by being part of the concentration and effort in the flow of details and things to keep in mind.
As you have rightly said: it is not the same to investigate and perfectly elaborate the entire story about a murder and its result along with the conclusions of the subject by the detective, then to delve into an entire behind -the-scenes logistical flow with theories and investigations; starting from each individual present to those not present.
This is how I understood it: it's like structuring a written novel; little more than a story with the information already prepared but with more in-depth additions to what is normally known.
It is certainly interesting even if I have little experience.
But the really significant thing is, how many capable students will there be in class 4-A?
I've only been studying for a few weeks, and I've got to know a handful of classmates, but it's not enough at all.
It also seems that choosing my partner will be left to chance.
Kaley: Very good, first the students who are confident in the abilities of the person who will be their partner will begin to form pairs.
Kaley: Be free to decide and accept.
Without haste, she gave the order and everyone began to decide without hesitation the students they considered qualified.
Pairs of two were created everywhere in a room of 40 students.
A few minutes later, all the couples were already formed; whether they are of the same sex or not, since the rules did not specify anything like that.
Kaley: Now that all the couples have been formed, only those who did not establish pairs remain, and whether they did not take the initiative or are reserved, they will be matched by me.
Kaley: You have to consider it a form of chance on my part, even if you don't like the result. Because it is mandatory to take the exam with a partner.
As she observed for a moment the remaining ones without pairs, she wrote on the blackboard the following names that will form one for the exam:
Goether – Niko
Mikael – Kina
Kathy – Andrea
Josh–Jakub
Guffy did not choose anyone, although she received several petitions during the small revolt.
Did he have someone in mind?
Those who approached him seemed to recognize his abilities.
On the other hand, for me, who is new, no one knows if I have any capacity, and it is normal for them to distrust.
I don't judge them, but even I would doubt myself for things like this.
And if I were a former student, I would also hesitate to select a new person, who doesn't talk much and is reserved.
Kaley: Now, since all the pairs are formed, they will have to decide among themselves who would be the best student writer and the best in critical perception for research.
Kaley: They both play equally important roles; and if one fails the other too. So be careful.
Kaley: The excursion will be at the Great Museum of Universal History and the Central Library; both are located in the Capital of Velenques.
Followed by the location, the teacher again writes the schedule on the blackboard on the wall:
Saturday: Excursion Day:
School dismissal – 06:00AM
Arrival in the Capital – 08:00AM
Preparation and breakfast: Private Hotel – 08:30 | 09:30
First excursion: History Museum – 10:00 | 12:00
Lunch break and debate – 12:00 | 13:00
Second excursion: Central Library – 1:30 p.m. | 16:00
Private Hotel: Meeting and Return Home – 16:30 | 18:30
Excursion Rules:
Couples should not be separated and should be in continuous contact with the teacher representative, school staff, and the rest of their home class. There is no freedom to move outside of hours. Products of any consumption during the excursion are free of charge and free to use within its facilities: History Museum; Central Library. The couple must move only within the permitted and selected areas at their established time. Each student must wear bracelets on their right hand with a real-time GPS, manipulated by the teacher representative and school staff. Each student pair belongs to a pair group, to know their general location as a study group. Any tool that serves as support in the study is allowed as long as it is fulfilled. Each section of the tour is for research and discussion between collecting it.
Breaking Rules:
Leaving the established zones inside and outside of hours will result in a serious penalty. Excursion areas should not be contaminated. You should not be late to schedules. Debates and investigations are necessary: if the pair of students is not developing either of the two options, they will be disqualified and failed. Disobeying the teacher or the representative staff will result in a fine: after an accumulation of two fines from the representative teacher, it will result in a penalty for the group of pairs and failure for the offending student. Order, discipline, and cooperation are equally essential to avoid fines from the teacher representative.
