Kina: Yes, I have no problems.

She is a refined girl with a sweetly soft voice.

Certainly the opposite of his last name.

Kina Gaelia.

The most prudent thing would be to observe him as a member of the Gaelia.

Kina: B-by the way, Mikael has a book to read, right?

Mikael: ... I hadn't thought about it.

I guess any book would be fine.

Maybe this place may contain something to my liking.

Kina: What do you like to read?

Mikael: Well, it's a difficult question since I don't have a specific taste.

Kina: I understand.

Kina: In that case we'll start with something simple like a light novel.

Mikael: Okay, you can recommend your best choice.

She cheerfully gets up and gives me a tour of the 'Novels and Stories' section.

I don't know how true what Tennys said is, but from my impression, Kina seems to hide her feelings very well.

Part II

It was 05:50 and the entire fourth year was lined up ready to board the tour buses.

Each bus can carry forty people, so there are four buses present for the entire 160 fourth year students.

It's considerably a lot.

From class 4-A to 4-D, the lines of couples for the excursion are all grouped together and ready to leave.

Our turn came to enter and take a seat after the attendance review.

Both Kina and I agreed without a word that our place would be in the last seats, just to avoid the public eye and bad looks.

Or perhaps, something more personal like the comfort of being in secluded places to satisfy the feeling of inferiority.

Kina: Let's do our best during the next few days together, Mikael.

He says as if he wanted to break the silence.

The silence between us isn't awkward and I'm just lost in thought as I watch the bus start to move to leave.

Mikael: I'm counting on you, Kina.

It's not that I care about the exam and the reward for winning, since rushing into things, without adequate preparations for the moment, will only be counterproductive.

My companions seemed excited about the excursion and were talking to each other about their seats.

The distance didn't matter, the conversations were spontaneous and general.

I could also take the time to listen to them, but it is completely irrelevant: the world of youth and their way of both speaking and seeing things is outside the reality of the elderly.

Maybe it's because I spent a large part of my childhood surrounded by all kinds of unknown adults; and also, different environments that clearly make a difference.

While in the world outside, everything is essential and the wills are fierce and competitive. But the everyday and younger ones, completely slow and barely growing.

And so, after a long wait, the sighting of architectures with a much more advanced and technological appearance, business environment and overpopulation, is undoubtedly a sign of being in the Great Central Capital of Velenques; and minutes after arrival the private hotel for tourist use.

When we got off the bus and were grouped into specific groups for each class, we finally prepared to eat and then leave for the rest of the excursion.

Of the four groups of class 4-A, to which I was assigned (4-G2) were the following members:

Junie. Lyubel – Couple 1

Mikael. Kina – Couple 2

Tennys. Eilis – Couple 3

Ibrahim. Joy – Couple 4

Filippo. Sae – Couple 5

Each class was divided into each floor of the hotel to occupy different restaurants; and then group 4-G2 entered to start the first hour of breakfast at 8:30AM.

Apart from Tennys, who is the one with whom I have spoken the most of those present here, I cannot identify another person close to me.

Kina is still a little close but it's only temporary, and Guffy is in group 4-G3.

Tennys: Firstly, I'm going to decide the table we will eat at to make the most of the time.

Since no one seemed to care, he then proceeded to manage the atmosphere within the group with perfect skill.

Their expressions, sensitivity when perceiving emotions and maintaining stability in relationships; an easygoing and graceful speaker.

But now that I see, most of the couples are of opposite genders; as aware that each one has a use.

Once at the table, the men occupied half and the women the other.

It seems that the gender reservation is the same regardless of the couples.

Eilis: I would have preferred to be with Andrea in this group. "Express while sighing"

Lyubel: I agree with you.

Those two students are members of the anarchy in women by the leader Andrea.

And it seems that... Kathy must be suffering from having her as a partner.

Joy: Don't be so pessimistic, I don't want to hear the complaints of Andrea's slaves, right Sae?

Sae: Yes.

Joy: And you Kina?

Kina: Y-yes.

Tennys: Before there is a head-on battle on the first day, we should focus on finishing the excursion successfully.

Ibrahim: I agree with Tennys.

The other three nodded in unison.

Ibrahim: By the way, now that you talked about a battle, all of you will go for the first place in the exam, right?

Junie: Of course.

Filippo: That's for sure.

Eilis: Don't think I'll tell you something like that, because it's private.

Lyubel: We should focus on our partners and grades, but not on others.

Given the cold, cutting, but true words of those two, it was clear that they were right.

You cannot always confuse the friendship you want, and simply ignore the wishes of other people.

But not many consider it that way.

From one moment to the next the atmosphere became silent, and the discomfort increased as the topics of conversation were ruthlessly discarded by those two eccentric young ladies.

Ibrahim: Shit! I'm getting bored and there's nothing to talk about.

Eilis: We should hope to finish lunch and then resume the excursion.

Ibrahim: I won't allow myself to spend the rest of the time alone without at least talking about something important.

Tennys: Do you have something to talk about and liven up the atmosphere?

Ibrahim: Yes.
